Subsurface exploration is one of the most ambitious scientific objectives of the Hayabusa2 mission.A small device called small carry-on impactor(SCI)was developed to create an artificial crater on the surface of asteroid *** enables us to sample subsurface materials,which will provide a window to the *** physical properties of the resulting crater are also useful for understanding the internal structure of *** understanding of the crater and ejecta properties,including the depth of excavation of subsurface materials,requires accurate information on impact *** particular,the impact angle is a critical factor because it greatly influences the size and shape of the *** April 5,2019,the Hayabusa2 spacecraft deployed the SCI at 500 m of altitude above the asteroid *** SCI gradually reduced its altitude,and it shot a 2 kg copper projectile into the asteroid 40 min after *** the position of the released SCI is essential for determining the impact *** study describes the motion reconstruction of the SCI based on the actual operation *** results indicate that the SCI was released with high accuracy.

AIM: To evaluate the significance of autologous blood transfusion (AT) in reducing homologous blood transfusion (HT) in surgery for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). METHODS: The proportion of patients who received HT was compared between two groups determined by the time of AT introduction; period A (1991-1994, n = 93) and period B (1995-2000, n = 201). Multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed in order to identify independent significant predictors of the need for HT. We also investigated the impact of AT and HT on long-term postoperative outcome after curative surgery for HCC. RESULTS: The proportion of patients with HT was significantly lower in period B than period A (18.9% vs 60.2%, P < 0.0001). Multivariate logistic regression analysis identified AT administration as a significant independent predictor of the need for HT (P < 0.0001). Disease-free survival in patients with AT was comparable to that without any transfusion. Multivariate analysis identified HT administration as an independent significant factor for poorer disease-free survival (P = 0.0380). CONCLUSION: AT administration significantly decreased the need for HT. Considering the postoperative survival disadvantage of HT, AT administration could improve the long-term outcome of HCC patients.

AIM:To investigate whether fresh frozen plasma (FFP) transfusion affects outcomes following hepatic resection for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in terms of liver function,postoperative complications and cancer ***:We retrospectively compared the incidence of postoperative complications between 204 patients who underwent hepatectomy for HCC with routine FFP transfusion in an early period (1983-1993,Group A) and 293 with necessity for FFP transfusion during a later period (1998-2006,Group B),and also between two subgroups of Group B [22 patients with FFP transfusion (Group B1) and 275 patients without FFP transfusion (Group B2)].Additionally,only in limited patients in Group B1 and Group B2 with intraoperative blood loss≥ 2000 mL (Group B1 ≥ 2000 mL and Group B2 ≥ 2000 mL),postoperative complications,liver function tests,and cancer prognosis were ***:No mortality was registered in Group B,compared to 8 patients (3.9%) of Group *** incidence of morbidity in Group B2 [23.2% (64/275)] was not significantly different from Group B1 [40.9% (9/22)] and Group A [27.0% (55/204)].The incidence of complications and postoperative liver function tests were comparable between Group B1 ≥ 2000 mL vs Group B2 ≥ 2000 *** prognosis did not correlate with administration of FFP,but with tumor-related ***:The outcome of hepatectomy for HCC is not influenced by FFP *** suggest FFP transfusion be abandoned in patients who undergo hepatectomy for HCC.

In cutting aluminum alloy 6061,continuous chips have a negative influence on the machining ***,Pb is added in order to break continuous ***,from the standpoint of environmental protection,it is necessary to improve chip breakability without adding *** effective measure to improve chip breakability is by adding Si to aluminum alloy ***,the influence of Si content on tool wear has not been fully *** this study,in order to clarify the influence of a diamond-like carbon（DLC） coating layer with a Cr-based interlayer,namely（Al,Cr）N,on cutting performance,aluminum alloys having different Si contents were *** substrate of the tool material was high-speed steel（1.4%C）.The tool wear and the surface roughness were experimentally *** following results were obtained:（1） In cutting two kinds of Al-Si alloys,namely the Al-2%Si alloy and Al-4%Si alloy,the progress of wear of the DLC/（Al,Cr）N-coated tool was slower than that of the DLC-coated ***,the（Al,Cr）N interlayer was effective for decreasing the tool wear of the DLC-coated tool.（2） The wear progress of the two kinds of DLC-coated tools in cutting of Al-4%Si alloy was faster than that in cutting of Al-2%Si alloy.（3） In cutting of Al-2%Si alloy with the（Al,Cr）N/DLC-coated tool,the surface roughness was almost constant in the range of a cutting distance from 0.1 km to 9.5 km.

This study aimed to clarify the immediate effect that trunk muscle exercise has on muscle reaction time, and to clarify the effect of 2-week exercise on muscle reaction time. The study showed that as for immediate effects, the muscle reaction time was significantly shortened in the TrA/OI (transversus abdominis muscle/obliquus internus muscle) of two exercise groups. However, the immediate effect seen before the 2-week trunk muscle exercise intervention disappeared after the intervention. In addition, trunk muscle exercise intervention for 2 weeks significantly shortened the muscle reaction time of TrA/OI in one exercise group. Furthermore, shortening of the muscle reaction time was also observed in the MF (multifidus muscle) of both exercise groups. The factors affecting the muscle reaction time of TrA observed in this study were considered to be an improvement of neuromuscular function by the central nervous system. It was also considered that 2-week exercise intervention has a lower value after 2 weeks due to an improvement of neuromuscular function by the central nervous system, and an immediate effect could not be obtained with the same exercise as at the time of intervention.
