RMB Exchange Rate Variation of China World Trade

This study traces the impact between the variability of the RMB exchange rate and the global Chinese trade. The main objective of this research is to present the dominating links and interactions of the relationship and to examine-with advanced econometrics tools-the significance between the volatility of the exchange rate of RMB and Chinese imports and exports. It will be made a statement about the alternative exchange policy in China since 1994. After the founding of New China, several economic policies have been undertaken on behalf of the exchange rate of the Chinese currency. In this connection we will analyze China's exchange rate:The changes since 1994 until 2005 (from a fixed exchange rate system of the RMB) and progressively, from the 21st July 2005, moved to a floating exchange rate system. Finally it will be evaluated, if the RMB fluctuations are more in line with the current economic policy under the premises of a floating exchange *** is a doctrinal controversy in the literature about the volatility of the exchange rate of RMB impact on international trade. Hence the literature does not allow us to conclude in mutual agreement. Therefore we will make clear definitions in this research and, based on empirical investigation, we will determine the impact of the rate of China's currency. Eventually we aim to prove the existence of a significant effect of the RMB variability in the global Chinese *** using Augmented Dicker Fuller principles, this study examines the volatility of the exchange rate of RMB on Chinese international trade during the year 1996-2015. In Mali, few studies have concerned overall mortality in general surgery, but several specific studies have concerned the different affections. Reflection on the causes of death is an inherent part of the activity of any motivated surgical team. Objective: To analyze the rate and the main causes of mortality in the General “A” surgical department of the Point “G” CHU. Patients Method: Our study was retrospective, descriptive and covered a period of 5 years from 01/01/2014 to 12/31/2018. We collected 152 deaths for 2011 hospitalized patients. The data were collected from the files of these deaths on pre-established investigation forms. The deceased patients were classified as operative and non-operative death, death from non-cancerous and cancerous diseases, deaths occurring in emergencies and deaths in regulated surgery. Results: We recorded 152 cases of death for 2011 hospitalized patients, either an overall mortality rate of 7.55%. The average age of deaths was 44.20 years +- 17.51 years with extremes ranging from 7 years to 85 years. The sex ratio was 1.62 in favor of men. The causes of death were represented by cancerous pathologies (69 deaths or 34.67%), non-cancerous pathologies (83 deaths or 4.58%). Conclusion: The mortality rate in general surgery remains high and is mainly linked to cancerous pathologies and the delay in taking care of patients.

We report a case of a unilateral conjunctival neoformation in a 44-year-old female melanoderma subject. It was a conjunctival squamous cell carcinoma (CSC). The risk factor was exposure to sunlight and dust. No HIV or HPV infection was found. The treatment consisted of simple removal of the tumour with a healthy margin of 3 to 4 mm. After a postoperative follow-up of 18 months, there was no recurrence. As CSC is the most common conjunctival malignancy and given the rate of recurrence with the possibility of associated local invasion, early diagnosis with long-term follow-up is necessary.

Prediction of selected biodiesel fuel properties using artificial neural network

Biodiesel is an alternative fuel to replace fossil- based diesel fuel. It has fuel properties similar to diesel which are generally determined experimentally. The experimental determination of various properties of biodiesel is costly, time consuming and a tedious process. To solve these problems, artificial neural network （ANN） has been considered as a vital tool for estimating the fuel properties of biodiesel, especially from its fatty acid （FA） composition. In this study, four ANNs have been designed and trained to predict the cetane number （CN）, flash point （FP）, kinematic viscosity （KV） and density of biodiesel using ANN with logsig and purelin transfer functions in the hidden layer of all the networks. The five most prevalent FAs from 55 feedstocks found in the literature utilized as the input parameters for the model are palmitic, stearic, oleic, linoleic and linolenie acids except for density network with a sixth parameter （temperature）. Other FAs that are present in the biodiesels have been considered based on the number of carbon atom chains and the level of saturation. From this study, the prediction accuracy and the average absolute deviation of the networks are CN （96.69%; 1.637%）, KV （95.80%; 1.638%）, FP （99.07%; 0.997%） and density （99.40%; 0.101%）. These values are reasonably better compared to previous studies on empirical correlations and ANN predictions of these fuel properties found in literature. Hence, the present study demonstrates the ability of ANN model to predict fuel properties of biodiesel with high accuracy.

Staphylococcus xylosus is a species of bacteria belonging to the genus Staphylococcus. This genus currently includes several species and subspecies. We distinguish between 2 groups: the group of coagulase-positive staphylococci (CoPS) and coagulase-negative staphylococci (CoNS), a larger group that includes more than forty species and subspecies. Among the CoNS, Staphylococcus xylosus occupies a special place because it is frequently isolated from meats, dairy products, and agricultural environments. It is commonly used in fermentation due to its primary role in the flavor and color development of fermented products. It is a commensal bacterium of the skin of small mammals and farm animals, where it constitutes the majority of flora. In this species, there are a large number of strains, including phenotypes and genotypes. Although S. xylosus is actually a recognized non-pathogenic species, a few strains can be potentially dangerous. They can thus be responsible for mastitis and dermatitis in cattle. With the multiplicity of breeding farms, the consumption of livestock products and the increasingly frequent contact of humans with animals a few rare cases of human opportunistic infections have also been reported in the literature. These include pyelonephritis, endocarditis, urinary, lymphatic, and lymph node infections, contamination of orthopedic materials and catheters. Thereby, we report the case of a lingering and chronic infection of the lacrimal tract by Staphylococcus xylosus in an 8-year-old child in the Ophthalmology Department of Sikasso hospital in Mali.

Introduction: Significant trauma to the periocular region can seriously damage ocular structures and their adnexa. The eyelids can be damaged during these traumas. The most frequent lesions are lacerations, the surgical treatment of which is generally simple. In some cases, there are complex traumas where there is a loss of tissue, which is difficult to treat. We report the case of a 26-year-old young man, farmer with no medical and surgical history, referred by the odontostomatology and maxillofacial surgery department for burns to the left hemi face by the exhaust pipe of his motorbike which occurred following a public road accident (AVP). Observation: A 26-year-old young man with no medical-surgical history, visual acuity was 5/10 with good mobility of the globe. In collaboration with the maxillofacial surgeon, a graft of the hemi face was performed using a flap from the inner side of the thigh first. In the second time we carried out a recovery by a flap which consisted in taking a supra-superciliary flap and suturing it at the level of the palpebral edges which, in spite of a fragile vitality of the tissues. Conclusion: The reconstruction of the eyelid is a real problem in our service because of the technical platform and the availability of consumables, which limits us in the choice of the operating technique.

Introduction: Post-operative acute evisceration is defined as a total dehiscence of the abdominal wall of all the constituents of the abdominal wall. The objective is to determine hospital frequency, identify favorable factors and key etiologies, and assess the rate of morbi-mortality. Patients and Method: This is a retrospective and descriptive study carried out in the general surgery departments of the Teaching Hospitals of Point “G”, Gabriel TOURE and the pediatric surgery department of the Gabriel TOURE University Hospital in Bamako, involving 53 patients. The study ran from January 1, 2005 to December 31, 2007. Inclusion Criteria: All cases of postoperative acute evisceration operated. Non-Inclusion Criteria: All cases of evisceration of other etiologies. Results: The average age was 34.2 years with extremes of 6 and 75 years, the sex ratio was 1.12 in favor of women. The initial clinical picture was peritonitis in 26 cases or 49.1%, occlusion in 16 cases or 30.2% and tumors in 6 cases or 11.3%. The post-operative complications responsible for evisceration were: parietal suppuration 28 cases or 52.8%;digestive fistulas 15 cases or 28.3%;post-operative ascites 4 cases or 7.5%. Conclusion: Post-operative acute evisceration is a rare but serious condition due to morbidity and mortality.
