Laser-assisted direct roller imprinting of large-area microstructured optical surfaces

In this study,a high-throughput fabrication method called laser-assisted direct roller imprinting(LADRI)was developed to lower the cost of nanoimprinting large-area polymer films and to address problems associated with nanoimprinting,namely,microstructural damage and precision in flatness of entire *** LADRI,the laser directly heats the microstructured surface of the roller mold,which heats and melts the surface of a polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA)film to replicate the microstructures on the mold *** this study,the effects of laser power density,scanning speed,size of the microstructures,and contact pressure on the replication speed were investigated *** replication speed increased as the power and scanning speed ***,because the film required heating until it filled the entire depth of the microstructure,an appropriate replication speed was *** result was supported by simulation of the temperature distribution inside the mold and the PMMA using transient heat conduction *** demonstrate the applications of LADRI,two different optical surfaces were replicated:an antireflection(AR)structure with conical structures sized several hundred nanometers and a lightextraction structure with a microlens array(MLA)comprising 10μm lenses,for display and illumination,*** replication degree of the MLA was governed by the contact *** flow simulation indicated that the heat conduction and flow speeds of the melted PMMA surface were comparable within several tens of *** addition,the reflectivity of the AR structure decreased from 4 to 0.5%,and the light intensity of the light-extraction structure increased by a factor of 1.47.

The ideal surgery for pancreatic head cancer is isolated pancreatoduodenectomy(PD);that is,en bloc resection using a non-touch isolation *** have been developing isolated PD for pancreatic cancer since 1981,when we developed an antithrombogenic bypass catheter for the portal *** this operation,the first and most important step is the use of a mesenteric approach instead of Kocher’s *** mesenteric approach allows dissection from the non-cancer infiltrating side and determination of cancer-free surgical margins and resectability,followed by systemic lymphadenectomy around the superior mesenteric *** approach enables early ligation of the inferior pancreatoduodenal artery and mesopancreas *** mesopancreas is the second portion of the pancreatic head nerve *** PD is the ideal surgery for pancreatic head cancer from both surgical and oncological *** patients with resectable pancreatic head cancer,isolated PD using the mesenteric approach is suspected to have a higher survival rate than conventional PD using Kocher’s *** precise surgical techniques of the mesenteric approach are herein described.

Dear editor,Patients frequently visit the emergency room with acute chest *** some potentially life-threatening disorders may cause the pain,in approximately 80%of cases,the chest pain source is benign,and musculoskeletal chest pain accounts for nearly 20%– 50%of those cases.^[1–6]Thus,pain caused by benign and pathological conditions of the chest wall encountered in the emergency department is sometimes incorrectly attributed to angina pectoris or pleuritic and other serious cardiopulmonary diseases.

自2013年以来，我一直参与南三陆町的重建计划，该地在2011年3月11日的东日本大地震中遭受了严重破坏。我们为抬高了10米的人造地面制定了一个总体规划，包括三个概念：（1）将城镇与大海重新连接起来，（2）将山脉与神社重新连接起来，以及（3）创建一条可步行的、赏心悦目的街道。我们设计了三个设施，都是重建计划的核心：太阳购物村（2017年）、中桥大桥（2020年）和311纪念馆（2022年）。311纪念馆代表了重建计划的高潮，成为衔接海洋、山脉和城镇（街道）的枢纽，同时也是连接过去和未来记忆的一种方式。

Severe acute respiratory syndrome-coronavirus-2(SARS-CoV-2)infection can lead to a cytokine storm,unleashed in part by pyroptosis of virus-infected macrophages and ***-6(IL-6)has emerged as a key participant in this ominous complication of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).IL-6 antagonists have improved outcomes in patients with COVID-19 in some,but not all,***-6 signaling involves at least 3 distinct pathways,including classic-signaling,trans-signaling,and trans-presentation depending on the localization of IL-6 receptor and its binding partner glycoprotein ***-6 has become a therapeutic target in COVID-19,cardiovascular diseases,and other inflammatory ***,the efficacy of inhibition of IL-6 signaling in metabolic diseases,such as obesity and diabetes,may depend in part on cell type-dependent actions of IL-6 in controlling lipid metabolism,glucose uptake,and insulin sensitivity owing to complexities that remain to be *** present review sought to summarize and discuss the current understanding of how and whether targeting IL-6 signaling ameliorates outcomes following SARS-CoV-2 infection and associated clinical complications,focusing predominantly on metabolic and cardiovascular diseases.

A cross-flow wind turbine near a structure was tested for the performance. The results showed that the performance of a cross-flow wind turbine near a structure was up to 30% higher than the one without a structure. In addition, we tried to get higher performance of a cross-flow wind turbine by using an Inlet Guide Structure and a Flow Deflector. An Inlet Guide Structure was placed on the edge of a structure and a Flow Deflector was set near a cross-flow wind turbine and can improve ambient wind environments of the wind turbine, the maximum power coefficients were about 15 to 40% higher and the tip speed ratio range showing the high power coefficient was wide and the positive gradients were steep apparently.

An intense paramagnetic EPR signal generated from x-ray-irradiated,powdered YCOB crystals was observed at the liquid nitrogen temperature for the first *** peaks,located at the positions where the effective g factor equals to 1.992,1.986,1.980,1.974 and 1.965,labeled as A,B,C,D and E respectively,were *** is believed that the peaks A,B,C and D generated from the BO_(2)-F^(+)center which is a single electron trapped in an oxygen vacancy which was originally occupied by an O^(2-)ion bonded to a(BO3)^(3-)anion *** peak E is thought of coming from Y2+ions that are formed by the Y^(3+) ions trapping *** mechanism for the formation of the radiation-induced defects in the YCOB crystals is suggested.
