BACKGROUND The classification of uterine sarcomas is based on distinctive morphological and immunophenotypic characteristics,increasingly supported by molecular genetic *** on neurotrophic tyrosine receptor kinase(NTRK)gene fusionpositive uterine sarcoma,potentially aggressive and morphologically similar to fibrosarcoma,are limited due to its recent ***-TRK immunohistochemistry(IHC)analysis serves as an effective screening tool with high sensitivity and specificity for NTRK-fusion *** SUMMARY We report a case of a malignant mesenchymal tumor originating from the uterine cervix,which was pan-TRK IHC-positive but lacked NTRK gene fusions,accompanied by a brief literature review.A 55-year-old woman presented to the emergency department with abdominal pain and distension,exhibiting significant ascites and multiple solid pelvic *** examination revealed a tumor encompassing the uterine cervix,extending to the vagina and uterine corpus.A punch biopsy of the cervix indicated NTRK sarcoma with positive immunochemical pan-TRK ***,subsequent next generation sequencing revealed no NTRK gene fusion,leading to a diagnosis of poorly differentiated,advanced-stage *** The clinical significance of NTRK gene fusion lies in potential treatment with TRK inhibitors for positive *** such rare tumors is crucial due to the potential applicability of tropomyosin receptor kinase inhibitor treatment.

Background:Selective grazing creates stable patches of contrasting sward height,thereby providing different growth conditions for the grass sward above and below ground and potentially affecting soil organic carbon(SOC)*** hypothesized that the presence of patches leads to greater spatial variability in belowground biomass(BGB)and SOC stocks than occurs between pastures managed under different stocking ***:A long-term grazing experiment consisting of three stocking intensities was used for this *** studied BGB,SOC,and soil total nitrogen(Ntot)stocks in the 0-15 cm soil *** diversity of plant species,soil bulk density,soil phosphorus,potassium,and magnesium contents were ***:There were no significant effects of patch or stocking intensity on BGB,SOC,and Ntot *** patches had a greater Shannon diversity than tall patches(p<0.05)and plant-available nutrients in soil correlated positively with sward height(p<0.05).Conclusions:We conclude from the current results and previous studies that higher plant species diversity with lower soil nutrient contents in short-patch areas and higher nutrient contents together with light competition in tall-patch areas might balance each other out with respect to BGB and SOC stocks.

Hospitality industry and hotels are considered to waste a lot of *** research aims to focus on food waste management in luxury hotels by investigating three luxury hotels in Budapest(Hungary).The investigation focuses on qualitative methods,eleven interviews and observations were made from September to December *** show that in luxury hotels the main challenge is to ensure the correct balance between 5*experience and minimizing food *** was found that kitchen,breakfast open-buffet and staff canteen are among the leading causes of food waste,generating even higher food waste compared to conferences,banquets,orála carte *** a broad range of practices exist that are believed to minimize the food waste of buffets,most of the luxury hotels are only implementing a small ratio of such practices and are only in the beginning of the planning phase to expand their practices in this regard.

The Mg-Y-Zn magnesium alloy system is commonly recognized for its remarkable combination of high strength and ductility,achieved even with minimal amounts of alloying *** exceptional performance is attributed to its unique microstructure,which includes Long-Period Stacking Ordered(LPSO)phases or the distinctive microstructure derived from the LPSO phase,referred to as the Mille-Feuille structure(MFS).This study systematically compares the traditional ingot metallurgy method with the rapid solidification technique,coupled with diverse heat treatments and extrusion *** analyses reveal variations in the presence of LPSO phases,Mille-Feuille structure,and grain size,leading to divergent mechanical and corrosion *** rapid solidification approach stands out,ensuring superior mechanical properties alongside a reasonable corrosion rate.

This contribution discusses some results of the ongoing research focused on the protection of cultural heritage from flood danger. The research project Methodology of Protection and Rescue of Cultural Heritage against Flood takes place in the Czech Republic and is focused on specific regional problems that have been experienced during and after disastrous floods in past 15 years. However, the lessons learned have wider applicability to the issue of flood protection of cultural heritage. Here, we describe two case studies that represent important issues requiring a solution;addressing these issues was the main motivation for the whole project.

Gridded model assessments require at least one climatic and one soil database for carrying out the *** are several parallel soil and climate database development projects that provide sufficient,albeit considerably different,observation based input data for crop model based impact *** input database related uncertainty of the Biome-BGCMuSo agro-environmental model outputs was investigated using three and four different gridded climatic and soil databases,respectively covering an area of nearly 100.000 km2 with 1104 grid ***,temporal,climate and soil database selection related variances were calculated and compared for four model outputs obtained from 30-year-long *** choice of the input database introduced model output variability that was comparable to the variability the year-to-year change of the weather or the spatial heterogeneity of the soil *** database selection could be a decisive factor in carbon sequestration related studies as the soil carbon stock change estimates may either suggest that the simulated ecosystem is a carbon sink or to the contrary a carbon source on the long *** evaluation of the input database quality seems to be an inevitable and highly relevant step towards more realistic plant production and carbon balance simulations.
