Development of Environmentally Friendly and Energy Efficient Refrigerants for Refrigeration Systems

This paper presents the improvement of eco-friendly and power consumption saving refrigerants for refrigeration *** novel azeotropic refrigerant mixtures of HFCs and HCs can replace refrigeration systems,and using the R134,R32,R125,and R1270 refrigerants in several compositions found using the decision tree function of the RapidMiner software(which camefirst in the KDnuggets annual software poll).All refrigerant results are mixed of POE,which is A1 classification refrigerant,non-flammable,and innocuous refrigerant,and using REFPROP software and CYCLE_D-HX software are under the CAN/ANSI/AHRI540 *** boiling point of the new refrigerant mix R-No.595 is 4.58%,lower than that of R404A,with a higher refrigerant effect and 50.34%lower GWP value than *** proposed mix R-No.595 can be operated in hot environmental country and has high critical temperature and heat-rejection effects,due to the presence of R32 and *** COPc of R463A is 13.49%,higher than R404A in freeze *** novel refrigerant mixes provide alternate refrig-erant options mixed of 1%R1270,and which are related with the development of current refrigerants,containing a compose of HFOs and eco refrigerants for producing low-GWP,zero ODP,high-refrigerant effect,low-operating pressure,and innocuous refrigerants.

Effect of inclined ribs on heat transfer coefficient in stationary square channel

The main objective of this research is to study the effect of rib arrangement on the distributions of the local heat transfer coefficient in a stationary channel. In this study, the ribs with square cross section were used to place on two side walls for study. The rib height-to-hydraulic diameter ratio （e/Dh） and the rib pitch- to-height （p/e） ratio were fixed at 0.133 and 10, respectively. Three different types of rib arrangement for inclined ribs, V-shaped ribs and inverted V-shaped ribs were investigated. The rib angle of attack （α） was varied from 30° to 90° for inclined ribs and 45° and 60° for both V-shaped and inverted V-shaped ribs, and compared at constant Reynolds number Re =30000. Thermal Liquid Crystal sheet was applied for evaluating the heat transfer distributions. The results showed that the average Nusselt number on surface with rib inclined angle at 60°, 45°, and 60° V-shaped ribs was improved up to about 20%, 25% and 30% higher than case of angle 90° and the rib inclined angle at 60° V-shaped ribs provided the highest Nusselt number covering largest area when compared to the other cases.

This work presents multi-fidelity multi-objective infill-sampling surrogate-assisted optimization for airfoil shape *** optimization problem is posed to maximize the lift and drag coefficient ratio subject to airfoil geometry *** Fluid Dynamic(CFD)and XFoil tools are used for high and low-fidelity simulations of the airfoil to find the real objective function value.A special multi-objective sub-optimization problem is proposed for multiple points infill sampling exploration to improve the surrogate model *** validate and further assess the proposed methods,a conventional surrogate-assisted optimization method and an infill sampling surrogate-assisted optimization criterion are applied with multi-fidelity simulation,while their numerical performance is *** results obtained show that the proposed technique is the best performer for the demonstrated airfoil shape *** to this study,applying multi-fidelity with multi-objective infill sampling criteria for surrogate-assisted optimization is a powerful design tool.

Production of a monoclonal antibody against oxytetracycline and its application for oxytetracycline residue detection in shrimp

A novel monoclonal antibody （MAb） against oxytetracycline （OTC） was generated and characterized. The MAb was used in the development of an enzyme-linked immunosorbant assay （ELISA）-based detection system. An OTC-bovine serum albumin （BSA） conjugate was prepared and used in the immunization of mice. A conventional somatic cell fusion technique was used to generate MAb-secreting hybridomas denoted 2-4F, 7-3G, and 11-11A. An indirect competitive ELISA （icELISA） was applied to measure the sensitivity and specificity of each MAb in terms of its 50% inhibitory concentration （IC50） and percentage of cross-reactivity, respectively. MAb 2-4F exhibited the highest sensitivity, with an ICs0 of 7.01 ng/ml. This MAb showed strong cross-reactivity to rolitetracycline, but no cross- reactivity to other unrelated antibiotics. When MAb 2-4F was used to detect OTC from shrimp samples, the recoveries were in the range of 82%-118% for an intra-assay and 96%-113% for an inter-assay. The coefficients of variation of the assays were 3.9%-13.9% and 5.5%-14.9%, respectively.
