The Russian Far East is a region between China and the Russian Arctic with a diverse climatological,geophysical,oceanic,and economical *** southern region is located in the Far East monsoon sector,while the northern parts are affected by the Arctic Ocean and cold air masses penetrating far to the *** economic activities and traffic connected to the China Belt and Road Initiative together with climate change are placing an increased pressure upon the Russian Far East *** is an urgent need to improve the capacity to measure the atmospheric and environmental pollution and analyze their sources and to quantify the relative roles of local and transported pollution emissions in the *** the paper,we characterize the current environmental and socio-economical landscape of the Russian Far East and summarize the future climate scenarios and identify the key regional research *** discuss the research infrastructure concept,which is needed to answer the identified research *** integrated observations,filling in the critical observational gap at the Northern Eurasian context,are required to provide state-of-the-art observations and enable follow-up procedures that support local,regional,and global decision making in the environmental context.

Improving on Linear scan Register Allocation

Register allocation is a major step for all compilers. Various register allocation algorithms have been developed over the dec- ades. This work describes a new class of rapid register allocation algorithms and presents experimental data on their behavior. Our re- search encourages the avoidance of graphing and graph-coloring based on the fact that precise graph-coloring is nondeterministic poly- nomial time-complete （NP-complete）, which is not suitable for real-time tasks. In addition, practical graph-coloring algorithms tend to use polynomial-time heuristics. In dynamic compilation environments, their super linear complexity makes them unsuitable for register allocation and code generation. Existing tools for code generation and register allocation do not completely fulfill the requirements of fast compilation. Existing approaches either do not allow for the optimization of register allocation to be achieved comprehensively with a sufficient degree of performance or they require an unjustifiable amount of time and/or resources. Therefore, we propose a new class of register allocation and code generation algorithms that can be performed in linear time. These algorithms are based on the mathematic- al foundations of abstract interpretation and the computation of the level of abstraction. They have been implemented in a specialized library for just-in-time compilation. The specialization of this library involves the execution of common intermediate language （CIL） and low level virtual machine （LLVM） with a focus on embedded systems.

Pressure Boundary Conditions for Blood Flows

simulations of blood flows in arteries require numerical solutions of fluidstructure interactions involving Navier-stokes equations coupled with large displacement visco-elasticity for the *** the various simplifications which have been proposed, the surface pressure model leads to a hierarchy of simpler models including one that involves only the pressure. The model exhibits fundamental frequencies which can be computed and compared with the pulse. Yet unconditionally stable time discretizations can be constructed by combining implicit time schemes with Galerkin-characteristic discretization of the convection terms in the Navier-stokes equations. such problems with prescribed pressure on the walls will be shown to be efficient and accurate as an approximation of the full fluid structure interaction problem.

Non-isothermal oxidation of coal with Ce(NO3)3 and Cu(NO3)2 additives

Non-isothermal oxidation of brown coal with 5 wt% of Cu(NO3)2, 5 wt% of Ce(NO3)3 and {2.5 wt% Cu(NO3)2 + 2.5 wt% Ce(NO3)3} additives was studied. The introduction of additives was carried out by an incipient wet impregnation method to ensure uniform distribution of cerium and copper nitrates within the structure of coal powdery samples (according to sEM and EDX mapping). The samples reactivity was studied in an isothermal oxidation regime at 200 °C (1 h) and by DsC/TGA at 2.5 °C/min heating rate. The additives implementation was found to reduce significantly the oxidation onset temperature (△Ti = 20-55 °C), the samples oxidation delay time (△ti= 2-22 min) and overall duration of the oxidation process (△tc = 8-16 min). The additives efficiency could be graded in accordance with the activation on the coal oxidation in the following row: Cu(NO3)2 >{Cu(NO3)2 + Ce(NO3)3}> Ce(NO3)3. According to the mass spectroscopy, the obtained row of activation correlates well with the initial temperature of the studied nitrate's decomposition (from 190 to 223 °C). A presence of nitrates was found to change significantly the trend of heat release taking place during the oxidation of coal samples (according to DsC/TGA data). The influence of coal morphology and volatiles concern in initial sample on the parameters of the oxidation process was studied as well. Activation energy (Ea) of the coal oxidation was calculated using Coats-Redfern method. Maximum decrease in Ea from 69 to 58 kJ/mol was observed for the samples with Cu(NO3)2. Graphical abstract.

Anomalies of bromine in the estuarine sediments as a signal of floods associated with typhoons

X-ray fluorescence scanning with synchrotron radiation was performed to study sediment core records of floods in Amur Bay,sea of *** of 3–8 mm with abnormally low bromine content were formed by the Razdolnaya River discharge to the central part of the bay during extreme floods,accompanied by severe storms at *** conditions in the region are typical for periods of deep tropical cyclones(typhoons),to which the distinguished interlayers were compared on the *** approach was made possible thanks to the high rate of sedimentation in the bay(3–5 mm/a) and low bioturbation of sediments under anoxic conditions.

Kinetics and mechanism of natural wolframite interactions with sodium carbonate

The kinetics and mechanism of natural wolframite interactions with sodium carbonate during air heating were studied.X-ray phase and X-ray microanalysis were used to establish that the initial monocrystalline wolframite consists of Fe0.5 Mn0.5 WO4 and Fe0.3 Mn0.7 *** thermal analysis showed that the interaction of wolframite with sodium carbonate begins above 450°C with the formation of tungstate,sodium ferrite,iron oxides,and *** experiments on sintering with the subsequent removal of water-soluble compounds(leaching)tracked the change in the structure of *** atomic ratio of Fe/Mn in wolframite does not change up to 600°C,and subsequently decreases to 0.2 during heating,which allows the mechanism of the process to be identified and indicates the greater reactivity of wolframites with an increased proportion of *** analysis with data processing using non-isothermal kinetics established that the interaction of wolframite with sodium carbonate in an air stream proceeds via a two-stage mechanism,wherein the first stage is limited by diffusion(activation energy,E=243 kJ/mol)and the second stage is limited by autocatalysis(activation energy,E=212 k J/mol)due to the formation of a Na2 WO4–Na2 CO3 eutectic.
