In this paper,an SIRS epidemic model using Grunwald-Letnikov fract.o.al-order derivative is formulated with the help of a nonlinear system of fract.o.al differential equat.o.s to analyze the effects of fear in the populat.o. during the outbreak of deadly infect.o.s *** criteria for the spread or extinct.o. of the disease are derived and discussed on the basis of the basic reproduct.o. *** condit.o. for the existence of Hopf bifurcat.o. is discussed considering fract.o.al order as a bifurcat.o. ***,using the Grunwald-Letnikov approximat.o.,the simulat.o. is carried out to confirm the validity of analytic results *** the real data of CoVID-19 in India recorded during the second wave from 15 May 2021 to 15 December 2021,we estimate the model parameters and find that the fract.o.al-order model gives the closer forecast.o. the disease than the classical *** the analytical results and numerical simulat.o.s presented in this study suggest different policies for cont.o.ling or eradicating many infect.o.s diseases.

this paper presents a novel approach for predicting the water quality indicator-Secchi disk depth(Z_(SD)).Z_(SD)indirectly reflects water clarity and serves as a proxy for other quality *** study utilizes Deep Neural Net.o.k(DNN)trained on satellite remote sensing and measured data from three sources:t.o.datasets obtained from official agencies in Croatia and Slovenia,and one citizen science data source,all covering the northern coastal region of the Adriatic *** proposed model uses 1D Convolut.o.al Neural Net.o.k(CNN)in the spectral dimension to predict Z_(SD).the model’s performance indicates a st.o.g fit to the observed data,proving capability of 1D-CNN to capture changes in water *** the test dataset,the model achieved a high R-squared value of 0.890,a low root mean squared error(RMSE)of 0.023 and mean absolute error(MAE)of *** results demonstrate that employing a 1D-CNN in the spectral dimension of Sentinel-3 oLCI data is an effective approach for predicting water *** findings have significant implicat.o.s for monitoring Z_(SD)in coastal *** integrating diverse data sources and leveraging advanced machine learning algorithms,a more accurate and comprehensive assessment.o. water quality can be achieved.

Background: the optimal time to closure of a newborn with a myelomeningocele has been the focus of a number of evaluat.o.s. the timing of primary surgery has received significant attent.o. due to its relat.o.ship to repair-site infect.o. that can lead to increased morbidity and prolonged hospital stays. It is on this basis that recommendat.o.s have utilized 48 - 72 hours post birth as ideal time of closure. this is not.o.ly prevent infect.o. at the site but also prevent ventriculitis and neural structure damage. We therefore, hypothesized an increase in wound infect.o. rates in t.o.e patients with delays in myelomeningocele repair. Met.o.s: We ret.o.pectively reviewed the records of 103 children with myelomeningocele treated between 2016 and 2023. At discharge the patients were followed up at the post.o.erative clinic visit 2 weeks later. Children were assigned to 1 of 2 groups, t.o.e who underwent primary neurosurgical repair within 72 hours of delivery (Group 1) and t.o.e undergoing repair after 72 hours (Group 2). We compared the infect.o. rates. Results: 103 children who underwent myelomeningocele repair were identified, with a median time from birth to treatment.o. 1 day. Eight (7.8 %) patients were noted to have post-repair surgical site complicat.o.s. there was no significant difference in rates of infect.o. between Group 1 and Group 2 repair times. the presence of infect.o. was associated increased length of stay when compared to neonates wit.o.t infect.o.. Conclusion: In children with myelomeningocele, the timing of primary neurosurgical repair appears not to have a significant impact.o. surgical site infect.o.. Closure of the spinal lesion within the first 72 hours of life may be more favorable for neural damage prevent.o.. these results suggest that early myelomeningocele repair may not impart significantly on the rate of wound-site infect.o..

Compacted clay liners are an integral part.o. the waste landfills,which are provided to contain the leachate within the landfills and protect the surrounding ***,locally available natural soils are used for the construct.o. of compacted clay liners if they satisfy the design ***,not all soils in their natural state satisfy all the design criteria for the liner ***,there is a definite need to modify the locally available natural soils by blending with bentonite to meet the required design criteria for the *** view of this,the present study evaluates the suitability of an Indian red soil enhanced with bentonite as a liner *** achieve this,a series of experiments were carried out using locally available red soil and ***,the suitability of the red soil was evaluated as a liner *** experimental results showed that the red soil met all the select.o. criteria stipulated by the Environmental Protect.o.
