An Optimal Node Localization in WSN Based on Siege Whale Optimization Algorithm

Localization or positioning scheme in Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is one of the most challenging andfundamental operations in various monitoring or tracking applications because the network deploys a large areaand allocates the acquired location information to unknown devices. The metaheuristic approach is one of themost advantageous ways to deal with this challenging issue and overcome the disadvantages of the traditionalmethods that often suffer from computational time problems and small network deployment scale. this studyproposes an enhanced whale optimization algorithm that is an advanced metaheuristic algorithm based on thesiege mechanism (SWOA) for node localization inWSN. The objective function is modeled while communicatingon localized nodes, considering variables like delay, path loss, energy, and received signal strength. The localizationapproach also assigns the discovered location data to unidentified devices with the modeled objective functionby applying the SWOA algorithm. The experimental analysis is carried out to demonstrate the efficiency of thedesigned localization scheme in terms of various metrics, e.g., localization errors rate, converges rate, and executedtime. Compared experimental-result shows that theSWOA offers the applicability of the developed model forWSNto perform the localization scheme with excellent quality. Significantly, the error and convergence values achievedby the SWOA are less location error, faster in convergence and executed time than the others compared to at least areduced 1.5% to 4.7% error rate, and quicker by at least 4%and 2% in convergence and executed time, respectivelyfor the experimental scenarios.

The aim of this study is to establish an efficient platform for high throughput screening and apply it to the increasing the yield of cephalosporin C （CPC）, which was one of β-lactam antibiotics, through nitrogen source optimization as well as preliminary exploration on high throughput screening of high-yield isoleucine producer strains.. In this study, the following problems are to be resolved.（1） Selecting the type of microtiter plates to study. The types of mirotiter plates often used were24-well,48-well,96-well microtiter plates. Microtiter plates can be chosen based on the oxygen transfer coefficient （KLa） and liquid evaporation （%）.（2） Optimizing the filling volume of microtiter plates and testing the feasibility of microtiter plates for cultivation and for turbidimetric assay.（3） Investigating of parallelity among wells in24-well and48-well microtiter plates.（4） Optimizing cultural conditions such as inoculum age, inoculum volume and fermentation time. In addition, the effect of different concentration starch on production of CPC in24-well microtiter plates was studied.（5） Establishing the high throughput methods for optimization medium, especially nitrogen source.（6） Use of Genipin color reaction with the amino acid L-isoleucine for high throughput screening of high-yield isoleucine producer strains. Through the study, the platform for high throughput screening was successfully established. It was found that24-well microtiter plates and48-well microtiter plates were more appropriate for cultivate aerobic microorganism than widely used96-well microtiter plates. There were higher oxygen transfer coefficient and larger filling volume enough for analyzing of the broth after fermentation. In addition, the water evaporation ratio in24-well is smaller than in48-well and the water evaporation ratio in48-well is smaller than in96-well microtiter plates. Effect of Freeze-Thaw and Urea in Solubility of GPC3-Csub Protein Expressed in Escherichia coli

Glypican-3 is a protein encoded by the Glypican-3 gene located on human X chromosome (Xq26), composed of two subunits, a 40 kDa N-terminal subunit, and a 30 kDa C-terminal subunit. Glypican-3 is a currently potential target molecule for liver cancer treatments because of its over-expression and growth effects on hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). this study examined the expression and purification of a C-terminal subunit of Glypican-3 protein (GPC3-Csub) due to its application in both diagnosis and therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma. The gene encoding for GPC3-Csub was successfully cloned into plasmid pET28a fused with an affinity tag composed of six consecutive histidine residues (His-tag). Recombinant protein GPC3-Csub was expressed in Escherichia coli BL21 (DE3) in the condition of adding 3% ethanol with IPTG induction. GPC3-Csub was extracted using repeated freeze-thaw cycles with lysozyme, and inclusion bodies were solubilized by 8M Urea, SDS 10% in pH 12. His-tag fused GPC3-Csub proteins allowed it to be purified by affinity chromatography method using the Nickel-nitrilotriacetic acid (Ni-NTA) column. High expression of GPC3-Csub was confirmed by Coomassie staining and western-blot. GPC3-Csub could be isolated with a Ni-NTA column and have a purity of about 90%.

企业战略作为企业全局性、长期性资源配置的重要规划,对企业经营活动具有重要影响,也必然会影响企业的融资行为。本文从企业战略视角出发,以2008—2020年中国A股上市公司为研究对象,运用固定效应模型探究了企业资源配置战略对债券信用评级的影响。研究发现:相对于经营主导型企业,投资主导型企业的债券信用评级更低,并且该结论在处理内生性问题和进行一系列稳健性检验后依然成立。异质性分析发现,企业资源配置战略对债券信用评级的影响在非国有企业和分析师跟踪人数多的企业中更明显。中介效应检验结果表明,企业资源配置战略通过作用于企业违约风险而影响债券信用评级。本文的研究结论对发债企业、信用评级机构和债券市场投资者具有重要启示意义。

Rainfall data with an appropriate spatial resolution is a key input to hydrological ***,networks of rain gauges are often sparsely and unevenly distributed in large catchments,especially in developing ***-resolution rainfall datasets,such as the Asian Precipitation Highly Resolved Observational Data Integration Towards Evaluation of Water Resources(APHRODITE),the Climate Forecast System Reanalysis(CFSR),the Climatic Research Unit Time Series(CRUTS),the Global Precipitation Climatology Centre(GPCC)and the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission(TRMM),have become available to overcome such *** objective of this study was to evaluate the impacts of four land-based rainfall products(APHRODITE,CFSR,CRU-TS,and GPCC)and a satellite-based rainfall product(TRMM)on streamflow of the upper catchment of Tri An reservoir in Vietnam using the Hydrological Modeling System(HEC-HMS).In addition,the available rain gauges data were used for comparison *** indicates that the TRMM and GPCC data show their best match to rain gauges data in simulating the streamflow in the period 1999–***,the results indicate that the TRMM and GPCC data could be alternative solutions.

A Sensor Network Coverage Planning Based on Adjusted Single Candidate Optimizer

Wireless sensor networks(WSNs)are widely used for various practical applications due to their simplicity and *** quality of service in WSNs is greatly influenced by the coverage,which directly affects the monitoring capacity of the target ***,low WSN coverage and uneven distribution of nodes in random deployments pose significant *** study proposes an optimal node planning strategy for net-work coverage based on an adjusted single candidate optimizer(ASCO)to address these *** single candidate optimizer(SCO)is a metaheuristic algorithm with stable implementation ***,it has limitations in avoiding local optimum traps in complex node coverage optimization *** ASCO overcomes these limitations by incorporating reverse learning and multi-direction strategies,resulting in updated *** performance of the ASCO algorithm is compared with other algorithms in the literature for optimal WSN node *** results demonstrate that the ASCO algorithm offers efficient performance,rapid convergence,and expanded coverage ***,the ASCO achieves an archival coverage rate of 88%,while other approaches achieve coverage rates below or equal to 85%under the same conditions.

In recent years,droughts have strongly affected the Central Highlands of Vietnam and have resulted in crop damage,yield decline,and serious water *** study investigated the livelihood vulnerability of five communities of farmers who are exposed to droughts in one of the more vulnerable regions of Vietnam—Dak Nong Province.A survey of 250 households was conducted in the five communities to collect data on the region’s sociodemographic profile,livelihood systems,social networks,health status,food and water security,drought conditions,and climate *** were aggregated using a livelihood vulnerability index and the IPCC vulnerability *** survey results indicate that Quang Phu community is the most vulnerable of the study’s communities,followed by Nam N’dir,Dak Nang,Duc Xuyen,and Dak D’ro in descending order of *** availability and livelihood strategies are the most important variables in determining the vulnerability of the five surveyed *** order to reduce vulnerability to droughts,water management practices and livelihood diversification in farming and nonfarming activities are recommended for the study area.
