Trigonelline protects the cardiocyte from hydrogen peroxide induced apoptosis in H9c2 cells

Objective:To elucidate the key parameters associated with hydrogen peroxide induced oxidative stress and investigates the mechanism of trigonelline(TG)for reducing the H_2O_2induced toxicity in H9c2 ***:Cytotoxicity and antioxidant activity of TG was assessed by EZ-CYTOX *** extraction and cDNA synthesized according to the kit manufacture *** was measured by the Flowcytometry,general PCR and ***:It was found that the TG significantly rescued the morphology of the H9c2 *** of cells with TG attenuated H_2O_2 induced cell deaths and improved the antioxidant *** addition,TG regulated the apoptotic gene caspase-3,caspase-9 and anti-apoptotic gene ***-XL during H_2O_2 induced oxidative stress in H9c2 *** results were comparable with quercetin *** evident,flow cytometer results also confirmed the TG significantly reduced the H_2O_2 induced necrosis and apoptosis in H9c2 ***,further increment of TG concentration against H_2O_2 could induce the necrosis and apoptosis along with H_2O_***:It is suggested that less than 125μM of TG could protect the cells from H_2O_2 induced cell damage by down regulating the caspases and up regulating the Bcl-2 and Bcl-XL ***,we suggest the trigonelline could be useful for treatment of oxidative stress mediated cardiovascular diseases in future.

＜正＞This study was carried out to investigate the productivity and nutritive values of SSH under Double-cropping SSH followed by whole crop barley（SSFWB） or by Hairy vetch（SSFHV） in paddy land.A field study was conducted at Baeksan-myeon,kimje,Jeonbuk province in Korea on clay loam soil for 3 *** plots were arranged in completely randomized design with three *** yield of SSH in SSFWB treatment was higher than that of SSFHV（P＜0.05）.All nutrients values of SSH were not influenced by the cropping ***,all nutrients of SSH in SSFWB treatment were just a little increase,compared with those of SSFHV.

This study was carried out to investigate the properties of soil and water under Double-cropping SSH followed by whole crop barley(SSFWB) or by Hairy vetch(SSFHV) in paddy land.A field study was conducted at Baeksan-myeon,kimje,Jeonbuk province in Korea on clay loam soil for 3 *** plots were arranged in completely randomized design with three *** pH and the contents of T-N and organic matter (OM) in soil samples collected at the end of the experiment were remarkably higher than those at the beginning of the experiment in both SSFWB and SSFHV treatment(P<0.05).The contents of an exchangeable cations at the end of the experiment were remarkably higher than those at the beginning of the experiment in both SSFWB and SSFHV (P<0.05).And then,the concentration of NO-N,NH-N and PO-P in discharge and leaching water were not influenced by the cropping system

Gastric cancer(GC)is a pervasive global malignancy with high mortality rates due to distant metastasis[1].GC metastasis can occur via hematogenous route,peri-toneal route,and specifically through ovarian spread in females[2].Among these,peritoneal metastasis is the most prevalent and challenging condition to treat[3].The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)has uncovered four molec-ular subtypes of GC:microsatellite instability,Epstein-Barr virus-related,chromosomal instability,and genomically stable[4].

Unlocking power of neighboring vacancies in boosting hydrogen evolution reactions on two-dimensional NiPS3 monolayer

This study investigates the effect of defect engineering on the catalytic activity of a NiPS3 monolayer catalyst for the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Three different types of vacancies on the basal plane of the monolayer are explored through a multi-step mechanism involving the dissociative adsorption of a water molecule and subsequent electrochemical adsorption of the dissociated ***-formation of vacancies in both Ni and S sites is found to be the most effective in enhancing the catalytic performance of the monolayer.A key resource for the reaction thermodynamics is the S-substitution-like physisorption of a water molecule on a vacant S site,followed by the dissociative occupation of OH and H into vacant sites of S and Ni elements,boosted by the NiS di-vacancy configuration with low activation energy *** reveals the highest contribution of bonding orbitals to the monolayer-H bond makes it the most desirable defect engineering approach for transition metal phosphorus chalcogenides with high HER ***,this study highlights the significance of controlled defect engineering in augmenting the catalytic performance of NiPS3 monolayer catalysts for HER.

Lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs)have drawn significant attention owing to their high theoretical discharge capacity and energy ***,the dissolution of long-chain polysulfides into the electrolyte during the charge and discharge process(“shuttle effect”)results in fast capacity fading and inferior electrochemical *** this study,Mn_(2)O_(3)with an ordered mesoporous structure(OM-Mn_(2)O_(3))was designed as a cathode host for LSBs via kiT-6 hard templating,to effectively inhibit the polysulfide shuttle ***-Mn_(2)O_(3)offers numerous pores to confine sulfur and tightly anchor the dissolved polysulfides through the combined effects of strong polar-polar interactions,polysulfides,and sulfur chain *** OM-Mn_(2)O_(3)/S composite electrode delivered a discharge capacity of 561 mAh g^(-1) after 250 cycles at 0.5 C owing to the excellent performance of OM-Mn_(2)O_(3).Furthermore,it retained a discharge capacity of 628mA h g^(-1) even at a rate of 2 C,which was significantly higher than that of a pristine sulfur electrode(206mA h g^(-1)).These findings provide a prospective strategy for designing cathode materials for high-performance LSBs.

Objective:The purpose of the study was to identify the best sequence of therapy beginning with a tyrosine kinase inhibitor(Tki)as the first-line therapy for patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma(mRCC)in terms of overall survival(OS),progression-free survival(PFS),and rates of discontinuation and adverse effects during the treatment ***:This is a retrospective,nationwide multicenter study of patients with mRCC after diagnosis at 10 different tertiary medical centers in Korea from January 1992 to December *** focused on patients at either“favorable”or“intermediate”risk according to the International mRCC Database Consortium criteria,and they were followed up(median 335 days).Finally,a total of 1409 patients were selected as the study *** generated a Cox proportional hazard model adjusted for covariates,and the different therapy schemes were statistically tested in terms of OS as well as *** addition,frequencies of discontinuation and adverse events were compared among the therapy ***:Of the primary patterns of treatment sequences(24 sequences),“sunitinib epazopanib”and“sunitinibeeverolimuseimmunotherapy”showed the most beneficial results in both OS and PFS with significantly lower hazards than“sunitinib”,which is the most commonly treated agent in *** that the“TkieTki”structure showed relatively higher discontinuation rates with higher adverse effects,the overall beneficial sequence would be“sunitinibeeverolimuseimmunotherapy”.Conclusion:Among several sequential therapy starting with Tkis,“sunitinibeeverolimuse immunotherapy”was found to be the best scheme for mRCC patients with“favorable”or“intermediate”risks.

The IOSS Chaos Synchronization Method

A new synchronization method, called the input/output-to-state stable synchronization (IOSSS) method, is proposed for a general class of chaotic systems with external disturbance. By introducing Lyapunov stability theory and linear matrix inequality (LMI) for the first time, the IOSSS controller is shown to not only guarantee the synchronization of the chaotic systems, but also reduce the effect of external disturbance. The proposed IOSSS controller can be obtained by solving the LMI, which can easily be done using standard numerical packages. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the availability of the proposed method.

L_2-L_∞ learning of dynamic neural networks

This paper proposes an y2-y∞ learning law as a new learning method for dynamic neural networks with external disturbance. Based on linear matrix inequality （LMI） formulation, the y2-y∞ learning law is presented to not only guarantee asymptotical stability of dynamic neural networks but also reduce the effect of external disturbance to an y2-y∞ induced norm constraint. It is shown that the design of the y2-y∞ learning law for such neural networks can be achieved by solving LMIs, which can be easily facilitated by using some standard numerical packages. A numerical example is presented to demonstrate the validity of the proposed learning law.

Chaos Synchronization of Nonlinear Bloch Equations Based on Input-to-State Stable Control

In this paper, we propose a new input-to-state stable （ISS） synchronization method for chaotic behavior in nonlinear Bloch equations with external disturbance. Based on Lyapunov theory and linear matrix inequality （LMI） approach, for the first time, the ISS synchronization controller is presented to not only guarantee the asymptotic synchronization but also achieve the bounded synchronization error for any bounded disturbance. The proposed controller can be obtained by solving a convex optimization problem represented by the LMI. Simulation study is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed synchronization scheme.
