Astrophysical S-factor and reaction rate for 15n(p,γ)16O within the modified potential cluster model

We study radiative p^(15)n capture on the ground state of ^(16)O at stellar energies within the framework of a modified potential cluster model(MPCM)with forbidden states,including low-lying *** investigation of the ^(15)n(p,γ0)^(16)O reaction includes the consideration of ^(3)S_(1) resonances due to E1 tr.n.itions and the contribution of the ^(3)P_(1) scatter.n. wave in the p+^(15)n channel due to the ^(3)P_(1)→^(3)P_(0)M1 *** calculated the astrophysical low-energy S-factor,and the extrapolated S(0)turned out to be within 34.7−40.4 keV·*** important role of the asymptotic constant(AC)for the ^(15)n(p,γ0)16O process with interfer.n. ^(3)S_(1)(312)and ^(3)S_(1)(962)resonances is elucidated.A comparison of our calculation for the S-factor with existing experimental and theoretical data is addressed,and a reasonable agreement is *** reaction rate is calculated and compared with the existing *** has negligible dependence on the variation of AC but shows a str.n. impact of the interfer.n.e of ^(3)S_(1)(312)and ^(3)S_(1)(962)resonances in refer.n.e to the CnO Gamow windows,especially at low *** estimate the contribution of cascade tr.n.itions to the reaction rate based on the exclusive experimental data from ***.C.85,065810(2012).The reaction rate enhancement due to the cascade tr.n.itions is observed from T_(9)>0.3 and reaches the maximum factor~1.3 at T_(9)=*** present the Gamow energy window and a comparison of rates for radiative proton capture reactions ^(12)n(p,γ)^(13)O,^(13)n(p,γ)^(14)O,^(14)n(p,γ)^(15)O,and ^(15)n(p,γ)^(16)O obtained in the framework of the MPCM and provide the temperature windows,prevalence,and significance of each process.

Polyelectrolyte Complexes between Hyperbr.n.hed and Linear Polysaccharides: Fucoidan/Chitosan

Polyelectrolyte complexes(PECs)of hyperbr.n.hed(HB)and linear polysaccharides are promising as more effective encapsulation agents compared to PECs formed by linear *** investigated the PECs between the HB anionic polysaccharide fucoidan(FUC)and the cationic linear polysaccharide chitosan(CS).The FUC had a molecular weight(MW)of 30×*** PECs were prepared in three solvents(water,0.01 and 0.1 mol/L acetic acid)with CS of MW of 15,110 and 170 kDa,and deacetylation degrees(DDA)of 70%and 97%.The structures of the PECs and the initial FUC were investigated by multi-angle static and dynamic light *** the FUC contained 18 wt%of—OSO3 groups and 5 wt%of ur.n.c acid units,it was a“str.n.-weak”copolyanion,so the HB macromolecules of the FUC formed nanogel particles in 0.1 mol/L AcOH and open br.n.hed structures in water,as confirmed by the Kratky *** mixing the solutions of original components,the PEC structures underwent an equilibration period,the duration of which increased with the MW of *** the charge stoichiometry was approached,the PECs shr.n.;the fractal dimension approached unity,indicating the side-by-side packing of adjacent FUC br.n.hes with the help of *** aggregation in the vicinity of the charge compensation was hardly observed,as it occurred in a very narrow *** PEC content at theζ-potential inversion depended on solvents’pH and the DDA of *** the extreme case of core-shell PECs in 0.1 mol/L AcOH,obtained by mixing FUC nanogels with the solutions of high MW CS of 97%DDA,the protruding tails of CS formed a positively charged shell in the whole r.n.e of FUC content(10 wt%nning electr.n.microscopy and atomic force microscopy images of dried samples were discussed in relation to the light scatter.n. results.

Calix[n]ar.n.s was utilized to detect PABA,the primary sunscreen *** study investigates the interaction of calix[4]ar.n.(C4),calix[6]ar.n.(C6),and PABA using the Langmuir method and first-pr.n.iple density functional theory(DFT).Using the Langmuir-Schaefer(LS)technique,an ultrathin film composed of calix[n]ar.n.s and their complexes with PABA was deposited on various *** on the Langmuir study,the PABA molecule was bonded to the lower rims of both C4 and C6 with the host-guest ratio of 1:*** of the LS films formed were then characterized by ultravioletvisible spectroscopy(UV-Vis),Fourier-tr.n.form infrared spectroscopy(FTIr)and carbon,hydrogen,nitrogen,sulfur elemental analyzer(CHnS).The band gap reduction obtained in the DFT study denotes the charge tr.n.fer interaction with promising reactivity between the calix[n]ar.n.s and *** sensing of PABA by C4 and C6 is successful based on the formation of bonding between them due to the hosts’effective trapping *** outcomes of this study could be applied to drug delivery systems for future pharmaceutical and medical applications.

Ion heat tr.n.port in electr.n.cyclotr.n.resonance heated L-mode plasma on the T-10 tokamak

Anomalous ion heat tr.n.port is analyzed in the T-10 tokamak plasma heated with electr.n.cyclotr.n.resonance heating(ECrH) in second-harmonic extra-ordinary mode. Predictive modeling with empirical scaling for Ohmical heat conductivity shows that in ECrH plasmas the calculated ion temperature could be overestimated, so an increase of anomalous ion heat tr.n.port is required. To study this effect two scans are presented: over the EC resonance position and over the ECrH power. The EC resonance position varies from the high-field side to the low-field side by variation of the toroidal magnetic field. The scan over the heating power is presented with on-axis and mixed ECrH regimes. Discharges with high anomalous ion heat tr.n.port are obtained in all considered regimes. In these discharges the power balance ion heat conductivity exceeds the neoclassical level by up to 10 times. The high ion heat tr.n.port regimes are distinguished by three parameters: the ratio Te/Ti, the normalized electr.n.density gradient r/■, and the ion–ion collisionality νii~*. The combination of high Te/Ti, high νii~*, and r/■=6-10 results in values of normalized anomalous ion heat fluxes up to 10 times higher than in the low tr.n.port scenario.

Automatic area estimation of algal blooms in water bodies from UAV images using texture analysis

Algal blooms,the spread of algae on the surface of water bodies,have adverse effects not only on aquatic ecosystems but also on human *** adverse effects of harmful algal blooms(HABs)necessitate a convenient solution for detection and *** aerial vehicles(UAVs)have recently emerged as a tool for algal bloom detection,efficiently providing on-demand images at high spatiotemporal *** study developed an image processing method for algal bloom area estimation from the aerial images(obtained from the internet)captured using *** a remote sensing method of HAB detection,analysis,and monitor.n.,a combination of histogram and texture analyses was used to efficiently estimate the area of *** features like entropy(using the Kullback-Leibler method)were emphasized with the aid of a gray-level co-occurr.n.e *** results showed that the orthogonal images demonstrated fewer errors,and the morphological filter best detected algal blooms in real time,with a precision of 80%.This study provided efficient image processing approaches using on-board UAVs for HAB monitor.n..

以甲醇为介质,合成了3种新的席夫碱配体HL^(1)(2-hydroxybenzaldehyde2-(2-oxo-1,2-diphenylethylidene)hydrazone)、HL^(2)(4-hydroxybenzaldehyde2-(2-oxo-1,2-diphenylethylidene)hydrazone)和L^(3)(2-methoxybenzaldehyde2-(2-oxo-1,2-diphenylethylidene)hydrazone)的Cu(Ⅱ)配合物1-3。通过元素分析、光谱方法、磁化率测量和密度泛函理论(DFT)计算对配合物进行了表征。通过单晶X射线衍射研究对合成的配体进行了结构表征。通过DFT计算确定了配合物的优化结构。通过紫外可见吸收光谱和荧光发射光谱研究了配合物与小牛胸腺DnA(CT-DnA)的结合能力。吸收光谱研究揭示了增色效应,并提出了与CT-DnA相互作用的可能模式。溴化乙锭(EB)竞争结合研究表明,配合物可以取代DnA-EB加合物中的DnA,且配合物可能以嵌入模式与CTDnA结合。配合物对革兰氏阴性肺炎克雷伯菌、大肠杆菌、鲍氏志贺菌和革兰氏阳性金黄色葡萄球菌的体外抗菌活性研究表明,配合物2对肺炎克雷伯菌和鲍氏志贺菌具有明显抗菌活性,但配合物1和3没有表现出任何显著的抗菌活性。
