In this paper,the determination of Thiram fungicide by a novel modified screen-printed carbon electrode(SPCE)fabricated modifying the working electrode(WE)with 2D-GO/WS2nanohybrid composites,is *** electron microscopy(SEM),Raman spectroscopy,and fluorescence analysis(PL)were used to reveal the morphological and microstructural characteristics of the 2D-GO/WS2 nanohybrids with different graphene oxide:tungsten disulphide(GO:WS_(2))*** characterization demonstrated that the 2D-WS2/GO nanohybrids having a GO:WS_(2)ratio=2:1 shows the highest electrocatalytic activity towards oxidation of *** developed sensor permits the quantification of Thiram in the linear range 0.083-0.33μM with a limit of detection(LOD)of 0.02μM,which is below the legal limits for this fungicide in drinking water or foods.

The Rb2.42（NH4）0.58（HAsO4）（H2AsO4）. Te（OH）6 crystals（denoted by RbNAsTe） crystallize in the monoc-linic system, space group P21/n with the following parameters： a=1.3059（5） nm, b=0.6755（3） nm, c=1.6675（6） rim,β=94.126（4）°, Z=4 and V=1.46733（10） nm^3. Thermal analyses（DSC, DTA and TG） confirm the presence of the phasetransition and the temperatttre of the decomposition. The vibrational spectroscopy study at room temperature showthe presence and the independence of anionic groups, cationic groups, and give more importance to the hydrogenbonds. Raman spectra were recorded in the temperature range of 298--503 K. The temperature dependence of theRaman line shift, intensity reduction and the half width detects the phase transitions and confirms their nature. So, thephase transition at 453 K corresponds to the superprotonic-ionic conduction phase transition, and those at 483 and491 K correspond to the decomposition of our material.

The aim of this study is to show the interest of the mechanical and dynamical properties of glass-flax hybrid ***,various staking sequences of glass-flax hybrid composites were manufactured and tested in free *** damping coefficients were identified by fitting the experimental responses of free-free bending *** obtained results show that the staking sequences and the position of flax fiber layers in the hybrid composites changed the properties,so a classification of different stacking sequences was *** fact,the hybrid laminate made of two glass external layers placed on both sides of four flax layers is very interesting in term of its mechanical and damping ***,it showed better specific bending modulus and loss factor than glass composites with proportions of 31 and 39%,respectively.A study of a structure of this composite has been made to validate the obtained results.

Aerogel Pd/(Ce0.33Zr0.66O2)SiO2 catalysts (CeZry) were prepared with variable Ce and Zr loadings (molar ratio Ce/Zr = 1/2) by combining sol-gel and impregnation methods. First, N2-physisorption was used to investigate the texture evolution. Then, H2-chimisorption and TEM were performed to study the effect on particle dispersion. After, TPR was used to determine the catalyst reducibility. Furthermore, XPS characterization was done to identify the palladium oxidation state and to evaluate the Pd-support interaction. Finally, the prepared catalysts were tested in methane combustion to assess their catalytic activity. The obtained results showed that, when the Zr and Ce loadings are varied between 0% and 8% and between 0% and 6% respectively, the BET surface area was increased from 615 to 744 m2/g, the porosity diameter from 45.7 to 83.6 Å, the Pd particle diameter from 5.2 to 7.0 nm, the CeO2 and ZrO2 particle size from 0 to 68 nm, the reduction temperature shift reached 16°C, the Pd binding energy shift attained 0.6 eV, but an optimum amounts of Zr (4 wt.%) and Ce (3 wt.%) are needed to maximize the PdO reducibility and to enhance the catalytic activity. In effect, 100% conversion of methane was reached at around 415°C on the CeZr4 catalyst.

The aim of this study was to describe the common presentation, frequency, and complications of Henoch-Schonlein purpura (HSP) in patients <18 years who were followed up at King Abdulaziz University Hospital, Jeddah over the last 12 years. We performed a retrospective chart review of the medical records of all patients diagnosed as HSP. During this period, only 29 cases were reported (15 males, 14 females), with the mean age at the diagnosis 7.5 years. 82% percent of the patients had joint involvement in the form of arthritis or arthralgia;17.2% had no joint involvement. Abdominal manifestations were reported in 72.4% of the patients, while renal involvement was documented in 24.1% of the cases;two patients had scrotal involvement. Four patients (13.7%) had a recurrence within four months of HSP diagnosis. However, all patients had full recovery within a month. More research is warranted to study the prevalence, clinical manifestations, preceding factors, and complications of HSP in a Saudi-based cohort.

Binding kinetics enhancement of a microfluidic biosensor into a micro-channel through the application of a supplementary mechanism has received tremendous attention because of the obtained significant enhancement factor. However, biosensor’s performance enhancement using only simple channel engineering is still rarely realized. Herein, we present a novel design of a complex reactive protein (CRP) biosensor into a U-shaped channel with a sensitive membrane located in the middle of the bent zone. Various critical factors affecting the equilibrium binding time are numerically investigated. The turn geometry is then optimized when the arc length along the inner and outer radii is almost the same, which leads to locally minimizing the channel height overhead the reaction surface and improves the analyte transport towards the sensing area. The numerical studies reveal that applying a local narrowing above the reaction surface can notably enhance the trapping and the surface formation of complex antibody-antigen, thus upgrading the biosensor performance. This work puts a significant advance towards microfluidic channel engineering and the exploration of micro-flow injection experimental studies.

Langerhans cell histiocytosis is a rare disease involving clonal proliferation of langerhans cells seen in children and young adults. Clinical presentation is variable, ranging from a single location in the bone to severe multivisceral involvement. Moreover, spinal involvement causing myelopathy is even rare and unusual. We report a rare case of adult Langerhans cell histiocytosis in the dorsal spine causing a spinal cord compression associated with a pulmonary process treated by surgery, radiotherapy and systemic therapy with good evolution.
