Recent advancements in additive manufacturing(AM)have revolutionized the design and production of complex engineering *** these advancements,their mathematical modeling and computational analysis remain significant *** research aims to develop an effective computational method for analyzing the free vibration of functionally graded(FG)microplates under high temperatures while resting on a Pasternak foundation(PF).This formulation leverages a new thirdorder shear deformation theory(new TSDT)for improved accuracy without requiring shear correction ***,the modified couple stress theory(MCST)is incorporated to account for sizedependent effects in *** PF is characterized by two parameters including spring stiffness(k_(w))and shear layer stiffness(k_(s)).To validate the proposed method,the results obtained are compared with those of the existing ***,numerical examples explore the influence of various factors on the high-temperature free vibration of FG *** factors include the length scale parameter(l),geometric dimensions,material properties,and the presence of the elastic *** findings significantly enhance our comprehension of the free vibration of FG microplates in high thermal *** addition,the findings significantly enhance our comprehension of the free vibration of FG microplates in high thermal *** addition,the results of this research will have great potential in military and defense applications such as components of submarines,fighter aircraft,and missiles.

In this manuscript,we provide critical commentary on the systematic review by Augustin et al,which investigated acute pancreatitis induced by primary hyperparathyroidism during *** this is an infrequent complication,it poses severe risks to both maternal and fetal *** to its infrequent occurrence in clinical practice,this review is based on an analysis of individual case reports over the past 55 *** this is not the first study to utilize this sampling method for primary hyperparathyroidism-induced acute pancreatitis,it is unique in that it has a sufficiently large sample size with statistically significant *** discussion focuses on the diagnostic challenges associated with this condition,which are grounded in the mechanisms of parathyroid hormone secretion and variations in serum calcium *** also address the limitations of the current review and suggest potential strategies to increase diagnostic accuracy and improve health outcomes for both mothers and fetuses during pregnancy.

Distinguishing non-epileptic events,especially psychogenic non-epileptic seizures(PNES),from epileptic seizures(ES)constitutes a diagnostic *** are frequent,especially when video-EEG recording,the gold-standard for PNES confirmation,cannot be *** issue is further complicated in cases of combined PNES with *** emergency units,a misdiagnosis can lead to extreme antiepileptic drug escalade,unnecessary resuscitation measures(intubation,catheterization,etc.),as well as needless biologic and imaging *** of the acute window,an incorrect diagnosis can lead to prolonged hospitalization or increase of unhelpful antiepileptic drug *** recognition is thus desirable to initiate adequate treatment and improve *** experience-based strategies and a thorough review of the literature,we aimed to present the main clinical clues for physicians facing PNES in non-specialized units,before management is transferred to epileptologists and *** such conditions,patient recall or witness-report provide the first orientation for the diagnosis,recognizing that collected information may be *** analysis of an event(live or based on home-video)may lead to a clinical diagnosis of PNES with a high confidence ***,a fluctuating course,crying with gestures of frustration,pelvic thrusting,eye closure during the episode,and the absence of postictal confusion and/or amnesia are highly suggestive of ***,induction and/or inhibition tests of PNES have a good diagnostic value when *** may also be a useful biomarker to distinguish PNES from epileptic seizures,especially following bilateral tonic-clonic ***,regardless the level of certainty in the diagnosis of the PNES,it is important to subsequently refer the patient for epileptological and neuropsychiatric follow-up.

Surgical sperm retrieval(SSR)is currently one of the most common procedures in in vitro fertilization(IVF).However,a gap between the guidelines and routine clinical practice regarding antibiotic use in sSR,which might lead to antibiotic resistance,is a challenging problem worldwide.A cross-sectional survey was conducted from May 1,2021,to July 15,2021,to investigate antibiotic usage by medical professionals when performing SSR in IVF centers in *** confidential questionnaire comprised 12 items,including characteristics of the study population,awareness of antimicrobial resistance,attitude toward prescribing antibiotics,and current practice of prescribing antibiotics when performing *** were completed by 30 of 45 registered IVF centers(66.7%).Among 67 physicians working at those centers,the age and work-experience years(mean±standard deviation[s.d.])were 38.6±6.6 years and 11.2±7.0 years,*** 60%of them held a degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology,and over four-fifths were *** respondents"often/very often/always"raised awareness of antimicrobial resistance to their patients(83.3%),but only half of them"often/occasionally"prescribed antibiotics to patients with SSR in cases where the prescription would be *** one-tenth of respondents followed the recommendation from the American Urological Association using"prophylaxis only"for SSR *** more invasive SSR,physicians tended to prescribe more complicated and sometimes inappropriate *** conclusion,antibiotic usage in SSR was not always appropriate among IVF *** studies may define specific recommendations for regimens,intervention strategies,and programs to promote appropriate antibiotic use for SSR patients among IVF specialists.

We present an analytical model for cross-Kerr nonlinear coefficient in a four-level N-type atomic medium under Doppler *** model is applied to87 Rb atoms to analyze the dependence of the cross-Kerr nonlinear coefficient on the external light field and the temperature of atomic *** analysis shows that in the absence of electromagnetically induced transparency(EIT)the cross-Kerr nonlinear coefficient is zero,but it is significantly enhanced when the EIT is *** means that the cross-Kerr effect can be turned on/off when the external light field is on or ***,the amplitude and the sign of the cross-Kerr nonlinear coefficient are easily changed according to the intensity and frequency of the external light *** amplitude of the cross-Kerr nonlinear coefficient remarkably decreases when the temperature of atomic medium *** analytical model can be convenient to fit experimental observations and applied to photonic devices.

泛血管疾病侧重于血管本身的病理变化,血管的健康与人体各脏腑功能紧密相关。“络脉-血管-脏腑”一体观认为血管是联系人体结构功能的重要结构,血管受脏腑气血阴阳,随络脉纵横周身,“络脉-血管-脏腑”在结构上统一,在功能上一脉相承,强调血管网络与脏腑功能的相互联系。泛血管疾病的发生是局部血管病变的结果,更是全身生理功能失调的表现。泛血管疾病本在脏腑阳虚,标为膏脂痰浊导致的络瘀管闭,多由情志因素诱发。治疗方面,强调“未病先防,既病防变”,温阳益气治其本,药用附子、桂枝、黄芪、人参;化瘀通络、化浊降脂除其标,药用川芎、丹参、桃仁、红曲;疏肝理气消其因,药用柴胡、枳实、郁金等。“络脉-血管-脏腑”一体观的提出完善了血管与脏腑的整体性理论,为泛血管疾病的预防和治疗提供了新思路,对早期诊断和个性化治疗具有重要指导意义。
