Cotton(Gossypium hirsutum L.)is a key fiber crop of great commercial *** phytopathogens decimate crop production by causing various *** July-August 2018,leaf spot symptoms were recurrently observed on cotton leaves in Rahim Yar Khan,Pakistan and adjacent *** leaf samples were collected and plated on potato dextrose agar(PDA)*** agent of cotton leaf spot was isolated,characterized and identified as Aspergillus tubingensis based on morphological and microscopic *** identification of pathogen was done on the comparative molecular analysis of CaM andβ-tubulin gene *** analysis of both sequenced genes showed 99%similarity with ***’s postulates were followed to confirm the pathogenicity of the isolated *** plants were inoculated with fungus and similar disease symptoms were *** was re-isolated and identified to be identical to the inoculated *** our knowledge,this is the first report describing the involvement of *** in causing leaf spot disease of cotton in Pakistan and around the world.

LSD1-related proteins of Arabidopsis with LSD1-like zinc finger domains regulate disease resistance and programmed cell death (PCD). We cloned a rice OsLOL2 gene, orthologous to LSD1 of Arabidopsis and expressed it in a tobacco plant. Transgenic tobacco lines displayed enhanced disease resistance to a virulent bacterium Pseudomonas syringae pv. tabaci (Pst). RT-PCR analysis showed that overexpression of OsLOL2 in transgenic tobacco lines resulted in upregulation of two pathogenesis-related (PR) protein genes, PR2 and PR5. Our results suggest that overexpression of OsLOL2 in transgenic tobacco enhances the resistance through the induction of PR pro- teins and hypersensitive response-like reaction.

The installation of small cells in a 5G network extends the maximum coverage and provides high ***,this approach increases the handover overhead in the Core Network(CN)due to frequent *** variation of user density and movement inside a region of small cells also increases the handover overhead in ***,the present 5G system cannot reduce the handover overhead in CN under such circumstances because it relies on a traditionally rigid and complex hierarchical sequence for a handover ***,Not Only Stack(NO Stack)architecture has been introduced for Radio Access Network(RAN)to reduce the signaling during *** paper proposes a system based on NO Stack architecture and solves the aforementioned problem by adding a dedicated local mobility controller to the edge cloud for each *** dedicated cluster controller manages the user mobility locally inside a cluster and also maintains the forwarding data of a mobile user *** reduce the latency for X2-based handover requests,an edge cloud infrastructure has been also developed to provide high-computing for dedicated controllers at the edge of a cellular *** proposed system is also compared with the traditional 3GPP architecture and other works in the context of overhead and delay caused by X2-based handover requests during user *** results show that the inclusion of a dedicated local controller for small clusters together with the implementation of NO Stack framework reduces the significant amount of overhead of X2-based handover requests at CN.

Mammals are the most important elements in Cenozoic terrestrial ecosystem. The composition and the character of a mammalian fauna are controlled by evolution time and evolutionary rate. Here we took 50 Asian Paleogene mammalian faunas as representatives and applied Bayesian Tip-dating method to infer the relationships and divergence times among these *** on the results of Bayesian Tip-dating analyses, we discussed the correlation between the paleogeographic changes and the mammalian fauna turn-overs. Compared with the traditional fauna correlation and sorting, Bayesian Tip-dating analyses revealed more detailed similarities reflected via the divergence times among the 50 faunas. We discovered that the early Eocene mammalian fauna, which firstly appeared in India subcontinent, is similar to the faunas of the same age in other parts of Asia. It is likely that a passage for the mammalian dispersal was formed before early Eocene. Bayesian inferring suggests that the first appearance of the dispersal passage is during 64.8–61.3 Ma. This time window is close to the time estimation for the initial time of India-Asia collision. During 57.1–47.2 Ma, India subcontinent probably had a habitat different from the main part of Asia, as it was reflected from the composition of the mammalian faunas. It is probably correlated with the uplifted Gangdese Mountain and shallow seas and lowlands on both sides of the collision region. The very remote divergence time(64.8 Ma) estimated by Bayesian inferring reflects the mammalian fauna turnover during the Eocene-Oligocene transition, obviously affected by the global cooling. Till the end of Oligocene, the Arabic Peninsula and Asian mainland remained separated and the mammalian faunas did not show clear connection.

Drilling is one of the most challenging and expensive processes in hydrocarbon extraction and geothermal well *** faced during drilling can increase the non-productive time(NPT)greatly,resulting in inflating the drilling cost and also pose a safety *** of the main problems faced during drilling that limits the life of drilling equipment and tools and decreases the overall productivity of the system is drilling *** vibrations can be categorized into three modes:axial,lateral,and ***-slip vibrations are a type of torsional vibration in which the bottom hole assembly(BHA)periodically stops to rotate followed by a spike in the bottom hole *** paper provides a comprehensive review of techniques used to control and mitigate torsional vibration with an emphasis on stick-slip.A brief introduction to drillstring and friction modeling is presented followed by a concise summary of passive control techniques to control *** the focus is shifted to an up-to-date review of active control and machine learning for stick-slip control and *** paper ultimately highlights the importance of adapting novel control and mitigation concepts to improve stick slip detection and improve the overall drilling process.A unique solution is insufficient to control a complex process such as drilling,but integration of various techniques has been found promising.

Yellowing even browning of radish commonly occurred during the traditional *** research aimed to determine the reason of yellowing of pickled radish,and propose the method for yellowing *** activity of endogenous enzymes in radish were analyzed,and the relationship between the activity and the browning was *** and polyphenol oxidase(PPO)were found as main potential enzymes resulting in browning of *** traditional salting processing,the myrosinase activity decreased,particularly at a high speed in the first 14 days,while the PPO activity did not decrease *** a*and b*values of salted radish were significantly correlated with myrosinase and PPO *** treatment was observed to be effective for browning inhibition of radish during soaking and storage,and the low pH conditions contributed to the preservation of original green color of *** acidification during the first 3 d played a much more important role in browning inhibition than following weaker acidification treatment for 27 *** pH showed an inhibition effect on PPO activity,but myrosinase reactivity was more sensitive to pH changes than *** myrosinase in the radish treated in the pickling solution at pH 2 was completely inactivated during the first 3 *** investigation of pH effect on improvement of salted radish color concluded that pH 2.4 was the optimal pH for the inactivation of myrosinase and ***,short-term accurate acidification coupled with traditional salting treatment was originally proposed for effective browning inhibition of pickled radish.

This research elucidated the reason of flavor deficiency during the thermal degradation of glutamic acid(Glu)-galactose(Gal)Amadori rearrangement product(GG-ARP)and the *** flavor formation from GG-ARP during the thermal degradation was *** to the volatile compounds in Glu-Gal Maillard reaction products(GG-MRP),pyrazines in the volatile compounds derived from GG-ARP were *** disadvantage in evolution asynchrony and content sufficiency ofα-dicarbonyl compounds and Glu in the GG-ARP model limited the pyrazines *** the addition of Gal,the asynchronous effect was further exacerbated,and the furans in the GG-ARP-Gal model(956.81μg/L,120℃,60 min)were more significantly dominant among the volatile flavor compounds than in the GG-ARP model(454.98μg/L,120℃,60 min),while the pyrazines were still ***,the extra-added Glu in the GG-ARP model could offset the deficiency of amino acids growth afterα-dicarbonyl formation and promote the formation of pyrazines(74.47μg/L,120℃,60 min).Meanwhile,the formation of diketones(92.96μg/L,120℃,60 min)was *** addition of Glu enhanced both milk-like and baking flavor of the GG-ARP system *** GG-ARP-Glu mixture was proposed to promisingly achieve the controlled formation of process flavors for baked foods with both desirable milk-like and baking scent.

The complex fluid-dynamic instabilities and shock waves occurring along the surface of a two-dimensional wedge at high values of the Mach number are studied here through numerical solution of the governing ***,a regression model is implemented to determine the pressure distribution for various Mach numbers and angles of *** Mach number spans the interval from 1.5 to *** wedge angles(θ)are from 5°to 25°.The pressure ratio(P2/P1)is reported at various locations(x/L)along the 2D *** results of the numerical simulations are compared with the regression model showing good agreement.
