Solar energy is regarded as one of the promising renewable energy sources in the *** main aim of this study is to use the Taguchi-Grey relational grade analysis to optimize the performance of two Solar Air Heaters(SAHs).A typical Grey–Taguchi method was *** Orthogonal Array,Signal-to-Noise ratio,Grey Relational Grade,and Analysis of Variance were employed to investigate the performance characteristics of *** observations were made in agreement with Jordanian climate 32°00′N latitude and 36°00′E longitude with a solar intensity of 500 W\m^(2).The operating factors selected for optimization are the tilt angle(T)with three levels(0°,22°,45°),inlet velocity(V)with two levels(1.2,1.8 m/s),and absorber plate material(m)with two levels(aluminum,wood).In this study,the Grey–Taguchi approach is validated by performing 12 individual *** results show that the process factors sequence required for a maximum SAH efficiency(SAHµ)is V>T>*** this approach,we combined the Orthogonal Array design with Grey Relational *** a result of that,the level of each operating conditions which optimizes both process responses(Temperature difference,ΔT and Solar air heater efficiency,SAHµ)can be specified with a minimum number of tests compared with classic Grey Relational *** optimal operating conditions of a SAH for multiple performance characteristics are determined as T2,m2,and V2,respectively,which are in congruence with the experimental results.

In this paper,we analyzed squeezing in the information entropy,quantum state fidelity,and qubit-qubit entanglement in a time-dependent *** proposed model consists of two qubits that interact with a two-mode electromagnetic field under the dissipation *** analytical solution is calculated by considering the constants for the equations of *** effect of the general form of the time-dependent for qubit-field coupling and the dissipation term on the temporal behavior of the qubit-qubit entanglement,quantum state fidelity,entropy,and variance squeezing are *** is shown that the intervals of entanglement caused more squeezing for the case of considering the time-dependent ***,the entanglement between the qubits became more substantial for the case of time *** and negativity rapidly reached the minimum values by increasing the effect of the dissipation ***,the amount of variance squeezing and the amplitude of the oscillations decreased considerably when the time dependence increased,but the fluctuations increased *** show the relation between entropy and variance squeezing in the presence and absence of the dissipation parameter during the interaction *** result enables new parameters to control the degree of entanglement and squeezing,especially in quantum communication.

This study provides a comprehensive analysis of collision and impact problems’ numerical solutions, focusing ongeometric, contact, and material nonlinearities, all essential in solving large deformation problems during a *** initial discussion revolves around the stress and strain of large deformation during a collision, followedby explanations of the fundamental finite element solution method for addressing such issues. The hourglassmode’s control methods, such as single-point reduced integration and contact-collision algorithms are detailedand implemented within the finite element framework. The paper further investigates the dynamic responseand failure modes of Reinforced Concrete (RC) members under asymmetrical impact using a 3D discrete modelin ABAQUS that treats steel bars and concrete connections as bond slips. The model’s validity was confirmedthrough comparisons with the node-sharing algorithm and system energy relations. Experimental parameterswere varied, including the rigid hammer’s mass and initial velocity, concrete strength, and longitudinal and stirrupreinforcement ratios. Findings indicated that increased hammer mass and velocity escalated RC member damage,while increased reinforcement ratios improved impact resistance. Contrarily, increased concrete strength did notsignificantly reduce lateral displacement when considering strain rate effects. The study also explores materialnonlinearity, examining different materials’ responses to collision-induced forces and stresses, demonstratedthrough an elastic rod impact case study. The paper proposes a damage criterion based on the residual axialload-bearing capacity for assessing damage under the asymmetrical impact, showing a correlation betweendamage degree hammer mass and initial velocity. The results, validated through comparison with theoreticaland analytical solutions, verify the ABAQUS program’s accuracy and reliability in analyzing impact problems,offering valuable insights into collision

There is shortage of organs,including kidneys,*** with deceased kidney transplantation,there is a significant rise in live kidney *** prevalence of prediabetes(PD),including impaired fasting glucose and impaired glucose tolerance,is on the rise across the *** teams frequently come across prediabetic kidney donors for *** are at risk of diabetes,chronic kidney disease,cardiovascular events,stroke,neuropathy,retinopathy,dementia,depression and nonalcoholic liver disease along with increased risk of all-cause ***,most of the studies done in prediabetic kidney donors are retrospective in nature and have a short follow up *** is lack of prospective long-term studies to know about the real risk of complications after ***,there are variations in recommendations from various guidelines across the globe for donations in prediabetics,leading to more confusion among *** increases the responsibility of transplant teams to take appropriate decisions in the best interest of both donors and *** review focuses on pathophysiological changes of PD in kidneys,potential complications of PD,other risk factors for development of type 2 diabetes,a review of guidelines for kidney donation,the potential role of diabetes risk score and calculator in kidney donors and the way forward for the evaluation and selection of prediabetic kidney donors.

Highly porous 316L stainless steel parts were produced by using a powder metallurgy process, which includes the selective laser sintering(SLS) and traditional sintering. Porous 316L stainless steel suitable for medical applications was successfully fabricated in the porosity range of 40%-50% (volume fraction) by controlling the SLS parameters and sintering behaviour. The porosity of the sintered compacts was investigated as a function of the SLS parameters and the furnace cycle. Compressive stress and elastic modulus of the 316L stainless steel material were determined. The compressive strength was found to be ranging from 21 to 32 mPa and corresponding elastic modulus ranging from 26 to 43 GPa. The present parts are promising for biomedical applications since the optimal porosity of implant materials for ingrowths of new-bone tissues is in the range of 20%-59% (volume fraction) and mechanical properties are matching with human bone.

BACKGROUND Basal cell carcinoma(BCC)is a slow-growing malignant tumor characterized by local invasiveness but an exceptionally rare metastatic *** ideally affects sun-exposed skin of older patients with more propensity for the facial *** To evaluate the different clinicopathological characteristics of the facial BCC and the efficacy and safety of diode laser for the treatment of these *** We retrospectively reviewed facial BCC lesions ofm in diameter and subjected them to diode laser ablation during the period from September 2016 to August 2021 at al-Ramadi Teaching Hospital,Ramadi City,*** matching the age,gender,duration,site,and clinical and histological types were registered for every *** functional and aesthetic outcomes and complications following diode laser ablation for each patient were also *** Of 67 patients with facial BCC,there was 65.67%from the age group≥60 years and 58.21%*** mean duration of the lesions was 5.15±1.836 *** most involved location was the nose(29.85%).About half of the cases belong to the noduloulcerative *** histological type comprises 40.3%of the cases,while the least was keratotic(13.4%).moreover,65.2%of the solid cases were from the age group≤60 years and 38.6%of the adenoid type from the age group>60 years(P value=0.007).Excellent aesthetic and functional outcomes were reported in all cases after 6 mo of *** complications were reported after diode laser *** Facial BCC was mostly seen in the elderly and *** mean duration was 5.15 *** nose was the commonest involved *** lesions were seen in approximately half of the *** age of the patients determined the histological type of the lesion(solid type was mostly seen in the age group≤60 years,while,adenoid in the age group>60 years).Diode laser ablation showed excellent functional and aesthetic outcomes following a 6-mo follow-up.

目的:评估非角膜地形图引导圆锥角膜患者行光折变角膜切除术(PRK)和角膜胶原交联术(CXL)的视力、屈光度和临床疗效。方法:术后1mo, 3mo, 6mo and 12mo对34例患者未矫正视力(UDVA)和矫正距离视力(CDVA),平、陡角膜测量读数以及并发症进行评估。结果:共34例患者平均年龄为23.3±4.0岁。UDVA和CDVA显著提高,且术后1a恢复平稳。通过超过1a的定期随访,T检验显示术前术后值有显著不同(Pmo达到稳定状态,与非角膜地形图引导PRK相比,地形图引导的唯一优势可能是通过Fourier术后分析,在某些患者中,球镜和柱镜轴位漂移。

As the Internet of things(IoT)technology is evolving,distributed solar energy resources can be operated,monitored,and controlled *** design of an IoT based solar energy system for smart irrigation is essential for regions around the world,which face water scarcity and power ***,such a system is designed in this *** proposed system utilizes a single board system-on-a-chip controller(the controller hereafter),which has built-in WiFi connectivity,and connections to a solar cell to provide the required operating *** controller reads the field soil moisture,humidity,and temperature sensors,and outputs appropriate actuation command signals to operate irrigation *** controller also monitors the underground water level,which is essential to prevent the pump motors from burning due to the level in the water *** proposed system has three modes of operations,*** local control mode,mobile monitoring-control mode,and fuzzy logic-based control *** the purpose of the proposed system validation,a prototype was designed,built,and tested.
