Background: Fe.t odor is a common sociome.ical proble. that affe.ts the.fe.t of human be.ngs of diffe.e.t e.iological factors. Multiple.modalitie. of the.apy have.be.n use. in the.tre.tme.t of fe.t odor. Obje.tive. To e.aluate.the.e.ficacy and safe.y of topical 15% zinc sulfate.solution in the.tre.tme.t of fe.t odor. Patie.ts and Me.hods: This single.blind, place.o, controlle. the.ape.tic study was conducte. at the.De.artme.t of De.matology-Baghdad Te.ching Hospital, from March 2010 to July 2011. A total of 108 (88 male. and 20 fe.ale.) patie.ts with fe.t odor we.e.e.rolle. and we.e.divide. into 2 groups: Group A: tre.te. with 15% zinc sulfate.solution. Group B: tre.te. with distille. wate. as place.o control group. Full history and e.amination we.e.carrie. out including all re.e.ant points. Four scoring had be.n use. to asse.s the.se.e.ity of odor in patie.ts with bare. fe.t Score.0: no odor, Score.1: mild odor, Score.2: mode.ate.odor and Score.3: se.e.e.odor. Zinc sulfate.solution 15% was applie. to sole.and toe.we.s once.daily for two we.ks, thre. time. pe. we.k for ne.t two we.ks and followe. by single.application we.kly as mainte.ance.afte. cle.rance.of odor for two months. Patie.ts we.e.se.n e.e.y two we.ks to be.e.amine. and to score.the.odor again and to re.ord side.e.fe.ts. Re.ults: Group A: Fifty patie.ts comple.e. the.study, the.r age. range. from 8 - 68 (33 + 14.5) ye.rs, while.the.duration of the.dise.se.range. from 1 - 180 (7.22 + 38.24) months. The.comple.e.cle.rance.of fe.t odor afte. two we.ks of the.apy was 35 (70%) patie.ts which was similar to two months mainte.ance.the.apy 35 (70%) and was highly statistically significant (p value.= 0.0000001). Group B: Fifty patie.ts re.e.ve. the.place.o solution, the.r age. range. from 16 - 75 (32.6 + 13.4) ye.rs, while.the.duration of the.dise.se.range. from 1 - 180 (43.7 + 47.65) months. The. we.e.divide. into: Group (A) (27) patie.ts we.e.tre.te. with the.ne. oral re.ime. and Group (B) (26) patie.ts we.e.tre.te. with the.six table.s/we.k. Inve.tigations including CBC, LFT and RFT we.e.done. PASI score. BSA and side.e.fe.ts e.pe.ially gastrointe.tinal one. we.e.re.orde.. Re.ults: The. we.e.29 male. and 24 fe.ale.. Age.range. from 18 - 67 ye.rs. Dise.se.duration range. from 1 - 30 ye.rs. BSA involve. range. from 20% - 79%. The.PASI score.range. from 10.2 - 45.7. Background: Wrinkling of face.is a common fe.ture.of aging and e.ch individual could have.his own fe.ture.of dise.se. Obje.tive. To cate.orize.the.wrinkle. of e.ch individual in orde. to find the.characte.istic picture.of e.ch individual aiming to find so calle. a print of aging. Patie.ts and Me.hods: An obse.vational study was done.on 1011 case. the.r age. more.than 30 ye.rs. 679 subje.ts (67.2%) we.e.male. and 332 (32.8%) we.e.fe.ale.. The.r age. range. be.we.n 30 - 86 ye.rs. Case. atte.de. De.artme.t of De.matology/Baghdad Te.ching Hospital, Baghdad, Iraq in pe.iod from April 2012 to April 2013. The.distribution and the.type. of wrinkling we.e.mappe. in all individuals. Re.ional variations including fore.e.d, glabe.lae. pe.iorbital, nasolabial, pe.ioral and side. of the.face.we.e.we.l studie.. Re.ults: Fore.e.d horizontal patte.n was pre.e.te. in 860 (85%) subje.ts, fore.e.d ve.tical patte.n in 84 (8.3%), glabe.la horizontal patte.n in 705 (69.7%) and glabe.la ve.tical in 698 (69%). Pe.iorbital patte.n was pre.e.te. in 885 (87.5%) subje.ts and nasolabial angle.in 540 (53.4%). Glabe.la ve.tical and horizontal patte.s we.e.significantly more.in male. than fe.ale.. To e.aluate.me.asma, liche. planus actinicus and case. that could not be.classifie. into one.or e.the. of the. using clinical picture. Wood’s lump e.amination, and histopathological asse.sme.t. Patie.ts and Me.hods: This is a case.de.criptive. comparative. clinical and histopathologicasl study carrie. out in De.artme.t of De.matology, Baghdad Te.ching Hospital, Baghdad, Iraq during the.pe.iod from De.e.be. 2012-May 2014. Forty patie.ts with facial hype.pigme.tation we.e.include. in this study. Twe.ve.(30%) we.e.male. and 28 (70%) we.e.fe.ale. with fe.ale.to male.ratio: 2.3:1. Me.n age.± SD of studie. patie.ts was 37.07 ± 9.63 ye.rs. History, physical e.amination, Wood’s lump e.amination and photographic picture. we.e.done.for all patie.ts. Punch biopsy was take. from e.ch patie.t, and proce.se. and staine. with He.atoxylin-e.sin (He. and Fontana-Masson (FM) for histological e.aluations. Re.ults: The.e.dise.se. we.e.classifie. into: me.asma with 11 patie.ts, fe.ale.to male.ratio: 4.5:1 with me.n age.± SD was 33.64 ± 6.516 ye.rs, me.asma-like.liche. planus actinicus with 21 patie.ts, fe.ale.to male.ratio: 2.5:1,me.n age.± SD: 39 ± 8.349 ye.rs, butte.fly liche. planus actinicus with 8 patie.ts, fe.ale.to male.ratio: 1:1, me.n age.± SD: 36.75 ± 15.088 ye.rs. Background: Condylomataacuminata is an infe.tion cause. by Human Papilloma Virus, rare.y re.orte. in infants and childre.. Podophylline.as a tre.tme.t for this condition has be.n use. cautiously in this age.group. Obje.tive. To re.ort the.case. of anoge.ital warts including condy lomataacuminata in infants and childre. and to e.aluate.the.e.fe.tive.e.s and side.e.fe.ts of 15% podophyllin in tre.tme.t of ge.ital warts. Patie.t and Me.hods: Thirty infants and young childre. we.e.se.n in De.artme.t of De.matology and Ve.e.e.logy—Baghdad Te.ching Hospital in this case.de.criptive.and the.ape.tic trial, in the.pe.iod from January 2011 to August 2012. The.r age. range. from 8 - 72 (30.43 ± 15.85) months, 20 fe.ale. and 10 male. with a fe.ale.male.ratio of 2:1. The.duration of the.dise.se.range. from 1 - 12 (5.26 ± 4.00) months. All de.ographics data we.e.re.orde. in this study. History and e.amination we.e.carrie. out to all patie.ts. Family me.be.s including mothe.s we.e.asse.se. about the.pre.e.ce.of any type.of viral warts in othe. location of body. Podophyllin (15%) in tincture.be.zoin was applie. once.we.kly to all viral warts and the.pare.ts advise. to wash out afte. 2 hours of application. The.numbe. of applications was re.e.te. until full re.ove.y. Follow-up afte. re.ove.y was carrie. out for 6 months to watch for any re.apse.and to re.ord local or syste.ic side.e.fe.ts. Re.ults: The.clinical picture. we.e.mostly acondylomata acuminata in a form of cauliflowe. like.warts in 20 (73.33%) patie.ts, while.in 10 (26.77%) patie.ts the.e.we.e.ordinary ve.ruca vulgaris like.warts. The.location of warts was pe.ianal in 23 (76.66%) patie.ts, ge.ital only in 2 (6.66%) patie.ts, and mixe. in 5 (16.66%) patie.ts. Topical applications of podophyllin 15% gave.a full re.ove.y in 27 (90%) patie.ts, while.in 3 (10%) patie.ts the.e.was partial re.ponse. To compare.the.e.fe.t of oral zinc sulfate.and oral ke.oconazole.singly and in combination in the.tre.tme.t of acute.cutane.us le.shmaniasis. Patie.ts and Me.hods: This single. blinde., the.ape.tic, controlle. study was conducte. in the.De.artme.t of De.matology, Baghdad Te.ching Hospital, Baghdad, Iraq, during the.pe.iod, January 2015 to July 2015. Se.e.ty-five.patie.ts with acute.CL we.e.e.rolle. in this study. The.total numbe.s of le.ions we.e.327, and the.duration of le.ions range. from 4 to 12 (6.9 ± 0.7) we.ks. The.diagnosis was confirme. by sme.r and histopathology. Patie.ts we.e.divide. into thre. groups: 24 patie.ts in Group A we.e.tre.te. with oral zinc sulfate.capsule. 10 mg/kg/day for 6 we.ks;24 patie.ts in Group B we.e.tre.te. with ke.oconazole.table.s 200 mg twice.daily for 6 we.ks and 27 patie.ts in Group C we.e.tre.te. orally with a combination of zinc sulfate.and ke.oconazole.for 6 we.ks. All patie.ts we.e.se.n re.ularly e.e.y 2 we.ks for 6 we.ks of tre.tme.t pe.iod, the. monthly for the.ne.t thre. months as follow up pe.iod. He.ling of the.le.ions was asse.se. by using sharquie’s modifie. Le.shmania score.to asse.s the.obje.tive.re.ponse.to the.topical or syste.ic the.apy. Re.ults:Afte. six we.ks, 75 patie.ts have.comple.e. the.tre.tme.t, 24patie.ts re.e.ve. zinc sulfate.capsule. 24 patie.ts re.e.ve. oral ke.oconazole.and 27 patie.ts re.e.ve. a combination of both tre.tme.ts. To find non-costly, minimally invasive. simple.te.hnique.by dire.t me.anocyte. transplant by spade.ne.dle.te.hnique.in tre.tme.t of vitiligo. Patie.ts and Me.hods: This inte.ve.tional, the.ape.tic, comparative.study was done.in De.artme.t of De.matology, Baghdad Te.ching Hospital, Baghdad, Iraq from April 2014-March 2015. Twe.ty patie.ts with localize., ge.e.alize. and se.me.tal vitiligo we.e.include.. Full history and e.amination for e.ch patie.t was done.with 4 (20%) male. and 16 (80%) fe.ale. and the.r age. range. from 9 - 40 (23.15 ± 11.44) ye.rs. Forty one.patche. in 20 patie.ts tre.te. by spade.grafting te.hnique.and the.donor and re.ipie.t site. we.e.de.arcate. and ane.the.ia done.by xylocaine.2% with adre.alin 1:100,000. Transplantation was starte. by using disposable.ne.dle.gauge.18 (the.sharp e.d of ne.dle.was cut by a scissor to make.it a spade.like. with me.ical syringe.5 ml supplie. with normal saline. The.micro-pie.e. we.e.take. from donor site.and transplante. dire.tly, e.sily and rapidly into de.mis of re.ipie.t site.and followe. by pushing normal saline.and the.proce.ure.was re.e.te. to cove. all re.ipie.t site. with 5 mm distance.be.we.n inje.tion points. Background: Vitiligo is an autoimmune.pigme.tory disorde., that affe.ts all age.group that is tre.te. by many me.ical tre.tme.ts but some.of the. might ne.d surgical the.apy. Obje.tive. To e.aluate.the.de.mabrasion te.hnique.in the.tre.tme.t of vitiligo by dire.t transfe. of me.anocyte. from the.de.mabrade. normal donor are. to the.vitiliginous re.ipie.t are.. Patie.ts and Me.hods: This is a case.inte.ve.tional study was done.in De.artme.t of De.matology/Baghdad Te.ching Hospital from Fe.ruary 2011-March 2012. Nine.Patie.ts with vitiligo we.e.e.rolle. in this study with diffe.e.t clinical type. of vitiligo including 5 se.me.tal, 2 ge.e.alize. and 2 localize.. The.donor and re.ipie.t are.s we.e.ane.the.ize. at the.same.time.with xylocain alone. De.mabrasion of re.ipie.t are. was done.first by manual abrade. and le.t for fe. minute. until the.oozing was stoppe.. The. the.donor are. was similarly de.mabrade. and the.de.mabrade. tissue.including the.e.ide.mis and supe.ficial e.ide.mis was imme.iate.y transfe.re. into the.re.ipie.t are. and dre.sing was applie.. Re.oval of the.dre.sing was done.afte. 10 - 14 days from the.ope.ative.time. Follow up was done.e.e.y 2 we.ks in the.first month the. monthly for six months to re.ord the.re.ult of implantation and re.igme.tation. Re.ults: The.re.pigme.tation starte. one.month afte. the.ope.ation as small macule. and this incre.se. gradually ove. time. the.me.n rate.of re.pigme.tation was 13% at 2 months, 27.8% at 4 months and 36.78% at 6 months. In addition, sun light e.posure.was applie. to e.hance.re.pigme.tation. The.pigme.tation was diffuse.and not follicular in shape. Conclusion: Dire.t transfe. of me.anocyte. from normal donor are. into vitiliginous re.ipie.t are. by de.mabrasion te.hnique.was e.sy, rapid and non-costly and gave.36.78% me.n rate.of pigme.tation at 6 months follow up and without complications.

Background: Coronary arte.y bypass grafting (CABG) has be.ome.a common surgical proce.ure.and incre.singly done.in Iraq. The.gre.te. saphe.ous ve.n (GSV) is the.most ve.ns ofte. use. as the.conduit and its complications include.a varie.y of cutane.us manife.tations. Obje.tive. To re.ort the.cutane.us manife.tations at the.saphe.ous ve.n harve.ting site.in Iraqi patie.ts who unde.gone.CABG. Me.hods: A total of 100 (82 male., 18 fe.ale.) patie.ts who had unde.gone.CABG using the.saphe.ous ve.n (SV) harve.te. by longitudinal incision ope. te.hnique.at the.le.s and/ or thighs we.e.include. in this case.de.criptive.study. All case. we.e.se.n at le.st two months afte. the.time.of the.ope.ation in the.outpatie.t clinic of the.Cardiac Surge.y De.artme.t in the.Ibn-Albitar Hospital during Octobe. 2009 - Octobe. 2010. A de.aile. history and close.de.matological e.amination we.e.done.including all re.ate. points to the.r proble.s. Re.ults: The.cutane.us change. on and around the.saphe.ous ve.n (SV) graft donor scars we.e.notice. in 60 out of 100 patie.ts, 49 (81.66%) male. and 11 (18.33%) fe.ale., the.r age. range. from 32 - 74 (59.38±8.3221) ye.rs, with body mass inde. (BMI)range. from 21.8746 - 26.9057 (23.875±8.5378). The.duration inte.val be.we.n the.time.of CABG and pre.e.tation range. from 2-180 months with a me.ian of 5 months, 36 (60%) patie.ts pre.e.te. at le.s than 6 months and 24 (40%) patie.ts pre.e.te. at more.than 6 months. Ane.the.ia was the.pre.ominant pre.e.ting symptom in 49 (81.6%), followe. by ne.rolgic pain 8 (13.3%) and pruritus 2 (3.3%), while.the.cutane.us signs re.orde. at the.site.of SVG we.e. Xe.osis in 17 (28.3%) patie.ts, followe. by re.idual hype.pigme.tation 11(18.3%), de.igme.tation 11(18%), re.e.t hair loss 11 (16.6%), hype.trophic scar 8 (13.3%), non-he.ling ulce. 7 (11.6%), lymphe.e.a 7 (11.6%) and ne.ropathy de.matitis 6 (10%).
