Background: Alope.ia are.ta is a common autoimmune.dise.se. whe.e.the.e.are.many topical and syste.ic the.apie., during which hair growth appe.rs in a uniform patte.n. In ce.tain case., hair re.rowth take. a polycyclic patte.n simulating a targe., so calle. targe.oid phe.ome.a. Obje.tive. To scre.n all case. of tre.te. alope.ia are.ta for hair targe.oid re.rowth patte.n. ?Me.hods: This is an obse.vational study, was conducte. in De.matology De.artme.t of Baghdad Te.ching Hospital in Iraq, during the.pe.iod, August 2017 to Octobe. 2017. All case. tre.te. for alope.ia are.ta with IM triamcinolone.20 - 40 mg inje.tion e.e.y 2 we.ks with topical clobe.asone.ointme.t and zinc sulfate.2 mg/kg/day for 2 months, we.e.e.amine. for the.targe.oid conce.tric hair re.rowth patte.n. Re.ult: Among all case. of alope.ia are.ta, se.e. patie.ts we.e.re.orde. to have.the.targe.oid conce.tric hair patte.n, which se.n 2 - 4 we.ks afte. the.apy, the.r age. range. from 4 to 25 ye.rs old with a me.n 14.5, all of the. we.e.male.. All the.e.patie.ts re.urne. back with hair growth in a form of rings of hair growth alte.nating with rings of little.or no hair growth forming a typical picture.of targe.. Conclusion: Targe.oid polycyclic conce.tric hair re.rowth patte.n is an important phe.ome.on se.n in patie.ts re.e.ving tre.tme.t for alope.ia are.ta, which is a good sign of re.ove.y whe.e.its e.iopathoge.e.is could not we.l be.e.ucidate. but alte.nating immunological re.ctions could e.plain this targe.oid patte.n.

Background: Frictional me.anosis of rubbing inne. thighs is a common proble. among Iraqi fe.ale. causing gre.t psychological and cosme.ic impact. It might simulate.lifa dise.se.but it is a diffe.e.t e.tity. It is unfortunate.y not re.orte. in the.me.ical lite.ature. although commonly e.counte.e. in daily clinical practice. Obje.tive. To e.aluate.the.hype.pigme.tation of inne. aspe.ts of thighs in Iraqi fe.ale. as an isolate. pigme.tary proble.. Patie.t and Me.hods: Sixty patie.ts with frictional me.anosis of rubbing thighs we.e.se.n in De.artme.t of De.matology, Baghdad Te.ching Hospital in this case.de.criptive. clinical and histopathological study, during the.pe.iod from April 2011 to March 2012. Any associate. skin proble.s we.e.also notice. like.folliculitis and boils at are. of friction. Forty individuals we.e.e.rolle. in the.pre.e.t work as the.he.lthy control group. The.pigme.tation was asse.se. by clinical, Wood’s light and histopathological e.aminations (H&e.and Fontana stains). Body mass inde. was obtaine. for all patie.ts and obe.ity was grade. according to WHO re.omme.dations. Re.ults: The.age. of patie.ts range. be.we.n 19 - 52 (32.86 ± 7.65) ye.rs, with 59 (98.3%) fe.ale. and 1 (1.6%) male. By Wood’s light e.amination, acce.tuation in pigme.tation was obse.ve. in 39 (58%) patie.ts, while.21 (42%) of le.ions showe. no change. Body mass inde. was range. from 23.3 - 43.6 (34.04 ± 4.13), history of vigorous rubbing of pigme.te. are. with washing tool (lifa) was positive.in 46 (76.6%) patie.ts. Skin biopsie. in 10 patie.ts showe. pure.de.mal me.anophage. in 3 of biopsie. with slight me.anosis of basal laye. of e.ide.mis, while.the.othe. 7 biopsie. showe. mainly incre.se.in basal me.anin. Background: Chronic paronychia is a chronic inflammatory re.ction of the.proximal and late.al nail folds of multifactorial in e.iology like.irritant, bacte.ial and monilial cause.. But house.ife.work is a major cause.of chronic paronychia. Obje.tive. To asse.s the.e.ficacy and prophylactic e.fe.ts of Vase.ine.by occlusion of nail folds in comparison with nystatin ointme.t and fucidic acid in tre.tme.t of house.ife.chronic paronychia. Patie.ts and Me.hods: This double. blinde., comparative.the.ape.tic, clinical trial is conducte. at the.De.artme.t of De.matology-Baghdad Te.ching Hospital from May 2010 to May 2011. e.ghty fe.ale.house.ife.patie.ts with chronic paronychia we.e.include. in this trial. The. we.e.divide. into thre. groups according to the.following the.ape.tic mode.: Group A tre.te. by Vase.ine.consiste. of 40 patie.ts;Group B and Group C tre.te. by nystatin ointme.t, fucidic acid ointme.t re.pe.tive.y and e.ch group consiste. of 20 patie.ts. All de.ographic points re.ate. to the.dise.se.we.e.re.orde. from all patie.ts. Inve.te. score.syste. was applie. to asse.s the.se.e.ity of dise.se.and the.re.ponse.to the.apy. Patie.ts had use. the.apy twice.daily on the.proximal and late.al nail folds. Tre.tme.t duration was 12 we.ks. To do me.anocyte. transplant from donor are. into the.re.ipie.t vitiliginous are. with associate. gray hair. Patie.t and Me.hods: This is a case.inte.ve.tional study was done.in De.artme.t of De.matology/Baghdad Te.ching Hospital from Fe.ruary 2011-March 2012. e.e.e. patie.ts we.e.e.rolle. in this study, six male. and five.fe.ale. with vitiligo in association of gray hair. The.r age. range. from 8 - 35 ye.rs with a me.n ±SD of 20.90 ± 7.006. Me.anocyte. transplant in patie.ts with vitiligo using ne.dling micrografting te.hnique.for twe.ve.patche. and dire.t me.anocyte. transplant from normal donor are. into vitiliginous re.ipie.t are. by de.mabrasion te.hnique.for e.e.e. patche.. Dre.sing was applie. and patie.ts we.e.se.n e.e.y two we.ks for the.first month and monthly for one.ye.r. Re.ults: Re.igme.tation of the.vitiliginous are. was starte. afte. two we.ks and was obvious at one.month that progre.se. ove. time. The.re.igme.tation of hair appe.re. usually afte. fe. months and was obvious afte. four months and the.re.igme.tation of gray hair was quicke. in patie.ts with micrografting te.hnique.than those.with de.mabrasion te.hnique. The.me.n rate.of re.igme.tation was 18.3% at six months and 37.5% at twe.ve.months in micrografting te.hnique.while.the.me.n rate.of re.igme.tation was 9.15% at six months and 18.55 at twe.ve.months in de.mabrasion te.hnique. Conclusions: Dire.t transplant of me.anocyte. from normal donor are. into re.ipie.t vitiliginous are. with associate. white.hair is an e.fe.tive.proce.ure.to induce.re.igme.tation of gray hair.

History was take. from e.ch patie.t with vitiligo re.arding age. ge.de., duration, pe.sonal and family history of vitiligo and othe. autoimmune.dise.se. such as diabe.e. me.litus, thyroid dysfunction, and alope.ia are.ta. Patie.ts we.e.asse.se. for past and pre.e.t history of photode.matosis and any skin cance.s. He.lthy control was conside.e.. Re.ults: Thre. hundre. and fifty patie.ts with vitiligo we.e.include. in this study: 50 patie.ts with unive.sal vitiligo, 100 patie.ts with ge.e.alize. vitiligo, and 200 patie.ts with localize. vitiligo as we.l as 500 subje.ts as a he.lthy control. The.age. of all studie. subje.ts range. be.we.n 31 and 77 ye.rs. Twe.ty four(48%) patie.ts with unive.sal vitiligo we.e.male. and 26 (52%) we.e.fe.ale.;49(49%) patie.ts with ge.e.alize. vitiligo we.e.male. and 51(51%) we.e.fe.ale.;101(50.5%) patie.ts with localize. vitiligo we.e.male. and 99(49.5%) we.e.fe.ale. and 235(47%) of control we.e.male. and 265(53%) we.e.fe.ale..
