This empirical study focused on investigating the perceived trust surrogated by a number of hy-pothesized factors and its effect on the choice of method of payment. The data were collected using a questionnaire, as the instrument for the primary data collection, with total collected back responses of 214 from customers of markaVIP. Structural equation modeling technique was used to fully analyze the data in order to determine what level of the relationship between the constituting factors of the perceived trust and the method of payment. The main findings were related to confirming the seven main hypotheses of the research that were related to testing if some factors were important to forming perceived trust by customers. Four factors (reputation, security, familiarity, and ease of use) were found to have a positive effect and the remaining three were not (privacy, size and usefulness). In addition, having perceived trust meant no preference to any method of payment by the customers.

The number of botnet malware attacks on Internet devices has grown at an equivalent rate to the number of Internet devices that are connected to the *** detection using machine learning(mL)with flow-based features has been extensively studied in the *** flow-based detection methods involve significant computational overhead that does not completely capture network communication patterns that might reveal other features ofmalicious ***,Graph-Based Bot Detection methods using mL have gained attention to overcome these limitations,as graphs provide a real representation of network *** purpose of this study is to build a botnet malware detection system utilizing centrality measures for graph-based botnet detection and *** propose BotSward,a graph-based bot detection system that is based on *** apply the efficient centrality measures,which are Closeness Centrality(CC),Degree Centrality(CC),and PageRank(PR),and compare them with others used in the *** efficiency of the proposed method is verified on the available Czech Technical University 13 dataset(CTU-13).The CTU-13 dataset contains 13 real botnet traffic scenarios that are connected to a command-and-control(C&C)channel and that cause malicious actions such as phishing,distributed denial-of-service(DDoS)attacks,spam attacks,*** is robust to zero-day attacks,suitable for large-scale datasets,and is intended to produce better accuracy than state-of-the-art *** proposed BotSward solution achieved 99%accuracy in botnet attack detection with a false positive rate as low as 0.0001%.

The removal of four heavy metals i.e. Pb, Cr, Cu, and Zn from their aqueous solutions, using ordinary sand as an adsorbent, was studied at 20℃. The amount of metal adsorbed to form monolayer on sand(a_m), obtained from Langmuir isotherm, exhibited the preference of metals for sand in the order Pb>Cr>Cu>Zn. The heavy metal-sand adsorption phenomena can be illustrated on the basis of the interaction between surface functional group of silicates (sand) and the metal ions. It is deduced that sand can be used as a low cost adsorbent for the removal of heavy metal from wastewater (containing low conc. of metals), especially in the developing countries.

A monte Carlo simulation of the Co-No heterogeneous catalytic reaction over asquare surface has already been studied with a model based on the Langmuir-Hinshelwood (LH)mechanism. The results of this study are well known. Here we study the effects of transientnon-thermal mobility of monomer (Co) based on precursor mechanism, diffusion of adsorbed nitrogenand oxygen atoms, on the phase diagram. The interesting feature of this model is the yield of asteady reactive window, while simple LH mechanism is not capable of producing a steady reactivestate.

SBL-JP-0004: A promising dual inhibitor of JAK2 and PI3KCD against gastric cancer

Background:Gastric cancer (GC) remains a global health burden and is often characterized by heterogeneous molecular profiles and resistance to conventional therapies. The phosphoinositide 3-kinase and PI3K and Janus kinase (JAK) signal transducer and activator of transcription (JAK-STAT) pathways play pivotal roles in GC progression, making them attractive targets for therapeutic interventions.methods:This study applied a computational and molecular dynamics simulation approach to identify and characterize SBL-JP-0004 as a potential dual inhibitor of JAK2 and PI3KCD kinases. KAToIII and SNU-5 GC cells were used for evaluation.Results:SBL-JP-0004 exhibited a robust binding affinity for JAK2 and PI3KCD kinases, as evidenced by molecular docking scores and molecular dynamics simulations. Binding interactions and Gibbs binding free energy estimates confirmed stable and favorable interactions with target proteins. SBL-JP-0004 displayed an half-maximal inhibitory concentration (IC) value of 118.9 nm against JAK2 kinase and 200.9 nm against PI3KCD enzymes. SBL-JP-0004 exhibited potent inhibition of cell proliferation in KAToIII and SNU-5 cells, with half-maximal growth inhibitory concentration (GI) values of 250.8 and 516.3 nm, respectively. A significant elevation in the early phase apoptosis (28.53% in KAToIII cells and 26.85% in SNU-5 cells) and late phase apoptosis (17.37% in KAToIII cells and 10.05% in SNU-5 cells) were observed with SBL-JP-0004 treatment compared to 2.1% and 2.83% in their respective controls.Conclusion:The results highlight SBL-JP-0004 as a promising dual inhibitor targeting JAK2 and PI3KCD kinases for treating GC and warrant further preclinical and clinical investigations to validate its utility in clinical settings.

The Co-No catalytic reaction on body-centred cubic （bcc） lattice is studied by monte Carlo simulation. The simple Langmuir-Hinshelwood （LH） mechanism yields a steady reactive window, which is separated by continuous and discontinuous irreversible phase transitions. The effect of precursor mechanism on the phase diagram of the system is also studied. According to this mechanism, the precursor motion of Co molecules is considered only on the surface of bcc lattice. Some interesting observations are reported.

We study a model based on precursor mechanism for Co-No catalytic reaction on square lattice with monte Carlo simulation. The precursor mechanism clearly demonstrates its impact on the phase diagram. The steady reactive state （SRS） gets established. The width of reactive region increases by increasing the range of precursor mobility. When the precursor mobility is increased to third-nearest neighbourhood, the second-order transition disappears.

This paper reported a novel coating approach to deposit a （HA） film on Ti6Al4V alloy with Al2o3 buffer layer for thin, crack free and nano-structured hydroxyapatite biomedical implants. The Al2o3 buffer layer was deposited by plasma spraying while the HA top layer was applied by dip coating technique. The X-ray diffraction （XRD） and Raman reflections of alumina buffer layer showed α- to γ-Al2o3 phase transformation; and the fractographic analysis of the sample revealed the formation of columnar grains in well melted splats. The bonding strength between Al2o3 coating and Ti6Al4V substrate was estimated to be about 40 mPa. The presence of dip coated HA layer was confirmed using XRD, scanning electron microscopy （SEm） and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy （EDX） analysis. The SEm images exhibited that HA top layer enveloped homogenously the troughs and crests of the underneath rough （Ra = 2.91 μm） Al2o3 surface. It is believed that the novel coating approach adopted might render the implant suitable for rapid cement-less fixation as well as biocompatible for longer periods.

Zno-Zro2 nanocomposite was prepared by sol-gel method and in-situ polymerization was used to synthesize Zno-Zro2 nanocomposite doped polyaniline （PANI）. The materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, Fourier transform infrared （FTIR） spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy （TEm）, scanning electron microscopy （SEm） and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy （EDX） to ensure the crystallite size, functional groups, morphology and chemical composition of the polymer nanocomposite complex. The average particle size of the Zno-Zr02 nanoparticles was found to be 20.5 nm. Thermal gravimetric analysis （TGA） was used to study the thermal stability of the complex, shows improved thermal stability of polymer nanocomposite as compared to the pure organic polymer. The material also possesses good electrical conductivity. Additionally, the photocatalytic activity of the materials was investigated by monitoring the decolorization of Acid Blue 29 dye in a UV photocatalytic reactor and PANI-Zno-Zro2 was found to possess higher photocatalytic activity than pure PANI. Finally, the antibacterial activity of the materials was examined and it was observed that PANI-Zno-Zro2 could be used as an excellent antibacterial agent. Hence, desired properties could be integrated by mixing appropriate phases of the materials for specific applications such as heterogeneous catalyst, antibacterial agents, antibiotics delivery and high temperature conducting polymers.
