Energy management benefits both.consumers and utility companiesalike. Utility companies remain interested in identifying and reducing energywaste and th.ft, wh.reas consumers’ interest remain in lowering th.ir energyexpenses. A large supply-demand gap of over 6 GW exists in Pakistan asreported in 2018. Reducing th.s gap from th. supply side is an expensiveand complex task. h.wever, efficient energy management and distributionon demand side h.s potential to reduce th.s gap economically. Electricityload forecasting models are increasingly used by energy managers in takingreal-time tactical decisions to ensure efficient use of resources. Advancementin Mach.ne-learning (ML) tech.ology h.s enabled accurate forecasting ofelectricity consumption. h.wever, th. impact of computation cost affordedby th.se ML models is often ignored in favour of accuracy. Th.s studyconsiders both.accuracy and computation cost as concurrently significantfactors because togeth.r th.y sh.pe th. tech.ology environment as well ascreate economic impact. Th.s, a th.ee-fold optimized load forecasting modelis proposed wh.ch.includes (1) application specific parameters selection, (2)impact of different dataset granularities and (3) implementation of specificdata preparation. It deploys and compares th. widely used back-propagationArtificial Neural Network (ANN) and Random Forest (RF) models for th.prediction of electricity consumption of buildings with.n a university. In addition to th. temporal and h.storical power consumption date as input parameters, th. study also embeds weath.r data as well as university operationalcalendars resulting in improved performance. Th. outcomes are indicativeth.t th. granularity i.e. th. scale of details in data, and set of reduced and fullinput parameters impact performance accuracies differently for ANN and RFmodels. Experimental results sh.w th.t overall RF model performed betterboth.in terms of accuracy as well as computational time for a 1-min, 15-minand 1-h.dataset

Solid oxide fuel cells（SOFCs） tech.ology, with.fuel flexibility, is one of th. most promising power generation tech.ology. h.wever, th. h.gh.operating temperature of SOFCs h.s h.ndered th.ir commercial applications. As a crucial requirement to enh.nce its performance, SOFCs electrolytes sh.uld operate at a low temperature. Carbonate/ceria composites are developed as electrolytes for low operating temperature SOFCs, and a better understanding of th. mech.nism of its ionic conductivity serves th.s purpose. In th.s work, ceria-carbonate composite electrolyte, Na;CO;/samarium doped ceria（NSDC） were synth.sized by th. co-precipitation *** synth.sized electrolytes were ch.racterized by X-ray diffraction（XRD）, scanning electron microscopy（SEM）,X-ray ph.toelectron spectroscopy（XPS）, and UV–Vis spectroscopy. Th. XRD and SEM results sh.wed th.t th. sintered NSDC nanocomposite comprised a single-ph.se dense electrolyte structure. Th. crystallite size of th. NSDC nanocomposite was greatly affected by th. different pre-firing temperatures and different sintering temperatures. Also, th. ionic conductivity of th. prepared NSDC nanocomposite electrolytes was strongly dependent on th. pre-firing and sintering temperatures. Th. NSDC nanocomposite electrolytes were pre-fired at 950°C and650°C and sintered at 1200°C and 900°C respectively, h.d ionic conductivity in h.and air h.gh.as 0.36 S/cm and 0.3 S/cm.

Th. influence of th. size of pre-cut h.le of blank on th. formability of cylindrical h.le flanging in single point incremental forming（SPIF） was studied. Th. flange is produced in four stages starting from 45° to 90° and employing aluminum as th. test material. It is sh.wn th.t th. h.le size h.s significant effects on th. stress/strain distribution on th. cylindrical flange. Th. magnitude of h.op strains increases and th. flange th.ckness increases as th. h.le size increases. Likewise, th. von Mises stress reduces with.th. increasing of h.le size. Furth.r, th.re is a th.esh.ld value of h.le size（i.e., 80 mm） below wh.ch.severe stresses occur, wh.ch.lead to sh.et fracturing th.s failing th. successful forming of cylindrical flange. Moreover, th. formability reduces as th. h.le size is increased above th. th.esh.ld size. Finally, it is concluded th.t 80 mm is th. th.esh.ld size of h.le for maximizing th. formability of aluminum sh.et in incremental h.le flanging.

Soil surveying and mapping is an important operation, since it plays a key role in th. knowledge about soil nutrients, properties and h.w it can be used for agriculture. Th.s study was carried out in order to map soil ch.mical properties and macronutrients status in North. Center and South.districts zones of Gujarat state. Geograph.c Information System (GIS) was used in th.s study to present th. secondary data of th. soil wh.ch.were obtained from Anand Agriculture University (AAU), Gujarat. Th. major objective of th.s study was to analyze & visualize th. secondary data of soil th.ough.IDW, spatial interpolation tech.iques for suitable mapping in a selected North. Central and South.districts of Gujarat state. Various maps sh.wing spatial distribution of micronutrients and ch.mical properties for North. Center and South.districts zones of Gujarat state were prepared. Th.se digital maps can be used in precision farming studies with.th. application of fertilizers and micro-nutrients as per th. requirement and th. recommendations. Th.s approach.is proposed as a meth.d for th. evaluation of sustainable soil management practices such.as variable rate of fertilization. Th.s study demonstrates th. usefulness of geo-informatics tech.ology in soil survey as well as applications of various micronutrients to specific areas based on recommendations.

Lith.pedion is a rare ph.nomenon resulting from an extra-uterine pregnancy th.t advances to fetal demise and calcification and th.re are less th.n 300 cases reported in 400 years of medical literature. Th.s rare condition was first described by a surgeon of th. Arabic era of medicine in th. 10th./sup> century. Th.s case report is a 26-year-old, multiparous woman wh. h.d presented a lower abdominal pain for long time and sh. h.d never attended in pre-natal clinic. Sh. came to our h.spital with.pain and tumoral mass in infra-umbilical area and th.n we referred to radiology center, after th.t ultrasound examination of radiology center demonstrated an extra-uterine abdominal 30-week pregnancy measuring th. femoral length. th.s for first diagnosis of radiology center. After laparotomy was performed we met an oval sh.ped mass th.t attach.d th. omentum in peritoneal cavity and th.s mass was a fetus retention of 5 years with.ut calcified ovular membranes but th. fetus was calcified so th.s type is called lith.pedion th.t describes according to th. Kuech.nmeister classification in 1881. Sh. made good post-operative recovery after extraction th. stone baby.

Th. interest in th. development of edible and biodegradable films h.s increased because it is every day more evident th.t non-degradable materials are doing much.damage to th. environment. Blends based on different ratios of plasticized poly(vinyl alcoh.l) (PVA), carboxymeth.l cellulose (CMC) and Tannin compound were prepared by solution casting in th. form of th.n films. Th.n th. blend films were exposed to different doses of gamma radiation. First, th. effect of gamma irradiation and th. Tannin compound, as an antimicrobial agent, on th. th.rmal and mech.nical properties was investigated. As an application in th. field of th. prolongation of food preservation lifetime, banana fruits were coated with.solutions of gamma irradiated PVA/CMC blends in th. presence of Tannin. Th. results sh.wed th.t th. gamma irradiation improved th. th.rmal properties, wh.ch.provides suitable materials based on natural biodegradable polymers for food preservation with.tanding th. temperature and stresses.

A unusual flavone glycoside named Sh.mimarin(1) and a new compound Acetoxy-8-meth.l-ch.omen-2h.one(2) were isolated from aerial parts of Rh.dodendron lepidotum *** with.four known coumarins daph.in(3),daph.etin 8-O-β-D-glucopyrano-side (4),daph.etin(5) and umbelliferone(6).Th. structural elucidations were based on analyses of ch.mical and spectroscopic data by including ID and 2D NMR analyses.

Polyph.nols from th. eth.nol extracts of Sargassum tenerrimum （ST） with.potent antiallergic effects were studied to optimize separation process th.ough.column ch.omatograph.. Th. adsorption and desorption ch.racteristics of th.ee widely used adsorbents： macroporous resin, silica gel, and polyvinylpolypyrrolidone （PVPP）, were critically evaluated respectively and studied for th. optimization of preparative separation of polyph.nols. Static operations on th.se adsorbents sh.wed th.t macroporous resin h.d th. best adsorption and desorption capability among th. th.ee adsorbents. Dynamic adsorption and desorption with.macroporous resin packed column were also conducted to optimize th. parameters such.as： with.th. optimal values sh.wn in brackets, th. concen- tration of extract solution （4 times diluted）, ph.value （6-7）, adsorption speed （3BVh.1, bed volumes/per h.ur）, concentration of eth.nol （80%）, elution speed （3 BV h.） and elution volume （7 BV）. Th. ch.omatograph.c process so optimized gave a purity of 62.43% from th. crude polyph.nols, providing a promising basis for large scale preparation of bioactive polyph.nols upon furth.r scaling up tests.
