Developing efficient and durable oxygen evolution reaction(OER)catalysts holds great prom.se for green hydrogen production via seawater electrolysis,but rem.ins a ***,we report a Co-doped Ni_(3)S_(2) nanosheet array on Ni foam.Co-Ni_(3)S_(2)/NF)as a high-efficiency OER electrocatalyst for *** alkaline conditions,Co-Ni_(3)S_(2)/NF requires an overpotential of only 368 m. to drive 100 m.·cm.(–2),superior to Ni_(3)S_(2)/NF(385 m.).Besides,it exhibits at least 50-h continuous electrolysis.

Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopic(LIBS)technique was used to detect calcium.and silicon in an unknown *** this m.thod plasm. was generated by Nd∶YAG laser of wavelength 1 064 nm.with energy 400 m. and pulse duration between 5~*** m.thod was applied for the qualitative as well as quantitative *** the qualitative analysis,the electron num.er density(Ne)of plasm. containing calcium.and silicon is determ.ned showing that Neof neutral particles is equivalent to 1016(cm.3)whereas for ionized particles it is 1017(cm.3).Plasm. tem.erature is m.asured using Boltzm.nn plot m.thod which m.st be greater than 10 000 *** ratio m.thod is used for the quantitative analysis shows various elem.nts in abundance with calcium.and silicon in m.jority.

NaYF_(4):Eu nanorods with high aspect ratios are elaborated and optically trapped using dual fiber optical tweezers in a counterpropagating geom.try. High trapping efficiency is observed using converging beam., em.tted from.diffractive Fresnel lenses directly 3D printed onto cleaved fiber facets. Stable nanorod trapping and alignm.nt are reported for a fiber-to-fiber distance of 200 μm.and light powers down to 10 m.W. Trapping of nanorod clusters containing one to three nanorods and the coupling of nanorod m.tion in both axial and transverse directions are considered and discussed. The europium.em.ssion is studied by polarization-resolved spectroscopy with particular em.hasis on the m.gnetic and electric dipole transitions. The respective σ and π orientations of the different em.ssion lines are determ.ned. The angles with respect to the nanorod axes of the corresponding m.gnetic and electric dipoles are calculated. m.no-exponential em.ssion decay with decay tim. of 4–5 m. is reported. It is shown that the nanorod orientation can be determ.ned by purely spectroscopic m.ans.

Sym.etry solutions of a nonlinear elastic wave equation with third-order anharm.nic corrections

Lie sym.etry m.thod is applied to analyze a nonlinear elastic wave equation for longitudinal deform.tions with third-order anharm.nic corrections to the elastic energy. Sym.etry algebra is found and reductions to second-order ordinary differential equations （ODEs） are obtained through invariance under different sym.etries. The reduced ODEs are further analyzed to obtain several exact solutions in an explicit form. It was observed in the literature that anharm.nic corrections generally lead to solutions with tim.-dependent singularities in finite tim.s singularities, we also obtain solutions which Along with solutions with tim.-dependent do not exhibit tim.-dependent singularities.

Selecting the m.st relevant subset of features from.a dataset is a vital step in data m.ning and m.chine *** feature in a dataset has 2n possible subsets,m.king it challenging to select the optim.m.collection of features using typical *** a result,a new m.taheuristicsbased feature selection m.thod based on the dipper-throated and grey-wolf optim.zation(DTO-GW)algorithm. has been developed in this *** can result when the selection of features is subject to m.taheuristics,which can lead to a wide range of ***,we adopted hybrid optim.zation in our m.thod of optim.zing,which allowed us to better balance exploration and harvesting chores m.re *** propose utilizing the binary DTO-GW search approach we previously devised for selecting the optim.l subset of *** the proposed m.thod,the num.er of features selected is m.nim.zed,while classification accuracy is *** test the proposed m.thod’s perform.nce against eleven other state-of-theart approaches,eight datasets from.the UCI repository were used,such as binary grey wolf search(bGWO),binary hybrid grey wolf,and particle swarm.optim.zation(bGWO-PSO),bPSO,binary stochastic fractal search(bSFS),binary whale optim.zation algorithm.bWOA),binary m.dified grey wolf optim.zation(bm.WO),binary m.ltiverse optim.zation(bm.O),binary bowerbird optim.zation(bSBO),binary hysteresis optim.zation(bHy),and binary hysteresis optim.zation(bHWO).The suggested m.thod is superior 4532 Cm.,2023,vol.74,no.2 and successful in handling the problem.of feature selection,according to the results of the experim.nts.

Phase Diagram.Body-Centredof Catalytic Oxidation of CO on the Surface-Subsurface of a Body-Centred Cubic Structure with Eley-Rideal Process： A m.nte Carlo Sim.lation

m.nte Carlo sim.lation is used to explore the effects of the Eley-Rideal (ER) process on the phase diagram.of the Langm.ir–Hinshelwood (LH) type m.nom.r–dim.r (CO–O2) catalytic reaction on the surface and subsurface of a body-centred cubic structure, which extends to only two layers in the z-direction. The dim.r (O2) is adsorbed in such a way that it takes one surface site whereas the second site is from.the subsurface. For this m.chanism. an interesting situation develops. The production rate of CO2 is found to be consistent with experim.nt. The qualitative trend of the surface oxygen coverage is not consistent with the experim.ntal situation in one m.del while it is found to be consistent with that in another m.del, i.e. the coverage of surface oxygen decreases slowly with increase of concentration of CO (yCO). m.reover, the production of CO2 can be predicted in the form.of a m.them.tical relation.
