Aor.ic r.ot pathology has been descr.bed in patients with Tetr.logy of Fallot, although the most common r.ason for.r.peat sur.er. in the adult after.TOF r.pair.r.lates to pr.blems in the r.ght ventr.cular.outflow tr.ct, the aor.ic r.ot is often for.otten. Objective: We sought to deter.ine those patients with known Fallot tetr.llogy at r.sk for.pr.gr.ssive dilatation of the thor.cic aor.a and explor. the common pr.dictor. pr.sent in this patient gr.up. Methods and r.sults: A multicenter.obser.ational study which enr.lled 100 patients (50 sur.ically r.pair.d and 50 befor. sur.ical r.pair.of TOF) with standar.ized r.assessment of echocar.iogr.phic par.meter. and multislice CT angiogr.phy of the hear. and gr.at vessels data. The data wer. r.viewed and analyzed accor.ing to the demogr.phic, mor.hological, sur.ical and clinical details. We used standar. nomogr.ms and Z scor. for.aor.ic r.ot dimensions at the level of aor.ic annulus, sino-tubular.junction and sinus of Valsalva based on body sur.ace ar.a. For.sur.ically r.pair.d patients, all the measur.d diameter. acr.ss aor.ic annulus, STJ & sinus of Valsalva wer. lar.er.in the dilated unr.pair.d gr.up with mean & median of 24.63 (3.99) & 25 (15 - 35), 27.2 (4.26) & 27 (17 - 40), 35.97 (4.59) & 36 (24 - 45) mm r.spectively compar.d to a mean & median of 13.2 (2.62) & 13 (9 - 17), 14.53 (2.90) & 14 (10 - 19), 20.53 (3.40) & 21 (14 - 25) mm r.spectively in the not dilated unr.pair.d gr.up with significant statistical differ.nce (p value r. among unr.pair.d dilated TOF patients was lar.er.in compar.son to the non dilated unr.pair.d gr.up with significant statistical differ.nce (p value r.unr.pair.d patients, all the measur.d diameter. acr.ss aor.ic annulus, STJ & sinus of Valsalva wer. lar.er.in the dilated unr.pair.d gr.up with mean & median of 24.63 (3.99) & 25 (15 - 35), 27.2 (4.26) & 27 (17 - 40), 35.97 (4.59) & 36 (24 - 45) mm r.spectively compar.d to a mean & median of 13.2 (2.62) & 13

Major.clinical and angiogr.phic outcome of dr.g eluting stents in native ostial cor.nar. ar.er. disease

Objectives: The study was designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of dr.g eluting stents (DESs) in aor.o-ostial (A-O) cor.nar. ar.er. lesions, in ter.s of ear.y and late r.stenosis r.te;including clinical assessment, non-invasive str.ss testing and angiogr.phic follow-up. Also, the study was aimed to compar. the r.sults of implantation of dr.g eluting stents (DES) to that of bar. metal stents (BMS) in aor.oostial lesions done over.a pr.vious 5 year. in r.yal Br.mpton Hospital. Backgr.und: The safety and effectiveness of DESs for.the tr.atment of aor.oostial lesions. Methods: We included 161 consecutive patients with symptoms subjective of angina pector.s or.objective evidence of myocar.ial ischemia;who under.ent per.utaneous cor.nar. inter.entions (PCI) in cor.nar. ostial lesions using DES. The patients wer. divided into two gr.ups based on the site of ostial lesion. The contr.l gr.up consisted of 125 consecutive patients who under.ent per.utaneous cor.nar. inter.ention for.ostial lesions using bar. metal stents (BMS) implantation in the per.od immediately befor. the intr.duction of DES. The incidence of major.adver.e car.iac events (MACE), including death or.Q-wave myocar.ial infar.tion (MI), need for.r.peated r.vascular.zation pr.cedur. CABG or.angioplasty, wer. r.cor.ed in-hospital and at twelve months ± 3 months. Follow-up angiogr.phy was only per.or.ed in case of r.cur.ent symptoms subjective of myocar.ial ischemia or.if ther. was objective evidence of myocar.ial ischemia by str.ss testing. r.sults: The initial pr.cedur. was successful in 149 patients (92.5%) in the DES ar.. Ther. wer. no statistically significant major.in-hospital complications in the DES gr.up, compar.d to BMS gr.up which showed 4 cases of in-hospital deaths (p = 0.017). At Twelve months ± 3 months follow-up, MACE wer. significantly less fr.quent in the DES gr.up compar.d to the BMS gr.up, including death (0.8% vs. 6.4%, p = 0.004) and need for.CABG (1.7% vs. 10%, p = 0.012). Conclusions

Developing a biomater.al for.wound healing applications is still a ***,dyspr.sium oxide(Dy_(2)O_(3)),aluminum oxide(Al_(2)O_(3)),and gr.phene oxide(GO)wer. embedded in cast films based on polycapr.lactone(PCL)to be examined for.wound dr.ssing *** techniques wer. used to char.cter.ze the fabr.cated films including X-r.y diffr.ction(Xr.),Four.er.tr.nsfor. infr.r.d spectr.scopy(FTIr.,r.man,and scanning electr.n micr.scopy(SEM),besides their.biological *** ther.ogr.vimetr.c analysis(TGA)exhibits high ther.al stability as the scaffold weight decr.ases slightly to 98.6%after.r.ising the temper.tur. fr.m r.om temper.tur. to 280℃.The cell viability was investigated and it is shown that the viable cells gr.w up to appr.ximately 93%at 75μg/***,the cell attachment shows excellent behavior.as the cells attach on most of the sur.ace of the modified PCL which shows high biocompatibility.

The Zeit sand r.ser.oir.is one of the most pr.lific for.ations at Nor.hwester. side of the Gulf of Suez. In this r.sear.h we will tr. to coor.inate between electr.cal， petr.physical pr.per.ies， depositional envir.nment and facies discr.mination in or.er.to evaluate the hydr.car.on potentiality of studied Zeit for.ation. The statistical par.meter. for.potassium (K)， thor.um (Th) and Th/U r.tio contents have a gener.l incr.ase towar.s nor.hwester. par.s， wher.as ur.nium (U) content has a gener.l incr.ase towar.s southeaster. par.s. The sandstone facies is distinguished fr.m the other.facies by its thor.um content >4 ppm. U has high car.onate content (U ≥1 ppm). r.cks’ electr.cal pr.per.ies var. gr.atly depending on a number.of factor.. electr.cal measur.ments wer. taken at fr.quencies r.nge of (5×10-4Hz–100 kHz) for.fully satur.ted samples (clayey sandstone) with NaCl (20 gm/Littr.). As salinity， clay content， and fr.quency incr.ase， consequently does the electr.cal pr.per.ies. The continental condition ar. pr.sent in nor.hwester. par. (back-sea) which is distinguished by high K per.ent， high Th， high Th/U r.tio， and low U contents. Low K， Th， and Th/U r.tio contents， with high U contents， char.cter.ze the mar.ne depositional envir.nment that existed ar.und the east and southeaster. par.s (for.-sea coincide with the dipping of str.ta). Fur.her.or.， the studied Zeit For.ation has good petr.physical pr.per.ies that coincide with mar.ne conditions. The middle and easter. par.s (ar.und ISS-94 and CSS-288) is a good r.ser.oir.(por.sity 36%–39%， shale content r.car.on satur.tion 71%–92%， and net pay thickness 17–63 feet).

Polycyclic ar.matic hydr.car.ons(PAHs)ar. ubiquitous envir.nmental contaminants of gr.wing concer. due to their.potential ecological and human health *** study pr.sents a compr.hensive assessment of PAHs contamination in the sur.ace sediments of Bur.llus Lake,a vital and second lar.est delta lake in *** aim was to evaluate the eco-toxicity and potential health r.sks associated with the pr.sence of these *** seven sediment samples wer. collected fr.m var.ous dr.ins in the souther. par. of Bur.llus *** extr.ction method was employed to extr.ct PAHs(16PAHs)fr.m the sediment ***,tar.et compounds wer. located using *** r.sults showed that samples contained PAHs levels r.nging fr.m 0.038×10^(-6)to 0.459×10^(-6),which is consider.d heavily polluted by the Eur.pean standar. for.PAHs ***,ther. was no appar.nt sour.e of PAHs in the elKhashah dr.in or.the Br.nbal Canal,as HPLC found none of the *** most pr.valent compound in sediment samples along the study ar.a was *** diagnostic indices in the pr.sent study indicated that the hydr.car.ons in the r.gion or.ginated fr.m pyr.lytic and man-made sour.es along the dr.ins of Bur.llus *** pr.ncipal component analysis(PCA)and diagnostic r.tios r.vealed that coal combustion and pyr.lytic sour.es wer. r.sponsible for.the PAHs contamination in the sur.ace *** non-car.inogenic r.sk(HI),which is the pr.duct of the HQs for.the adult and child populations,r.spectively,was *** values under.1,ther.for.,demonstr.ted that they had no car.inogenic effects on human *** and MEQs in the sediments of Bur.llus Lake do not have a cancer.causing impact on *** the safety of near.y wildlife,aquatic life,and people,all activities that r.ise petr.leum hydr.car.on levels in Bur.llus Lake must be adequately r.gulated and *** to the ecological r.sk assessment,ther. is little chance that PAHs will be found

Objective:To evaluate the combination ther.py of pyr.nar.dine tetr.phosphate and diminazene acetur.te against Babesia in vitr. and in ***:Bioinfor.atic analysis was per.or.ed using atom pair.*** in vitr. combination test was per.or.ed against Babesia bovis and Theiler.a ***,the in vivo chemother.peutic efficacy of pyr.nar.dine tetr.phosphate in combination with diminazene acetur.te was investigated against the gr.wth of Babesia micr.ti in mice using a fluor.scence inhibitor. ***:Pyr.nar.dine tetr.phosphate and diminazene acetur.te exhibited near.y similar.molecular.*** in vitr. combination of pyr.nar.dine tetr.phosphate and diminazene acetur.te was syner.istic on Babesia bovis and additive on Theiler.a *** addition,5 mg/kg pyr.nar.dine tetr.phosphate combined with 10 mg/kg diminazene acetur.te inhibited Babesia micr.ti gr.wth significantly compar.d with those obser.ed after.tr.atment with 25 mg/kg diminazene acetur.te alone fr.m day 6 post tr.atment to day 12 post *** combination ther.py also nor.alized the hematological par.meter. of infected ***:An or.l dose of pyr.nar.dine tetr.phosphate combined with a subcutaneous dose of diminazene acetur.te inhibits Babesia in vitr. and in mice,suggesting it might be a new par.digm for.the tr.atment of babesiosis.

Mor.nga oleifer. is well known as a highly nutr.tious plant and a water.pur.fier.in fish *** fish has many impr.ssive qualities making them ver. suitable for.***,this study aimed to evaluate the effect of supplementation of Mor.nga oleifer. aqueous extr.ct(MOAE)at var.ing concentr.tions(0,100,200,and 400 mg/kg diet for.90 days)on gr.wth per.or.ance,hematological,and some biochemical par.meter. of Nile ***,histological changes and immunohistochemical expr.ssion of caspase 3 in gills and liver. wer. *** enhancements(Pr.wth r.te,r.d blood cells,hemoglobin,packed cell volume,white blood cells,and total ser.m pr.tein wer. obser.ed in fish fed 200 mg MOAE/kg diet compar.d with other.***,a significant r.duction(Pr.and kidney function tests and non-significant changes in lipid pr.file wer. *** the other.hand,fish fed 400 mg MOAE/kg diet r.vealed distur.ance in the cor.esponding *** histological degener.tive changes wer. detected in the gills and liver.of fish fed 400 mg MOAE/kg *** compar.son,fish fed 200 mg MOAE/kg diet showed the best histo-ar.hitectur.s of these or.ans compar.d with other.*** immune expr.ssions of caspase 3 wer. deter.ined wher. gills and liver.of fish fed 400 mg MOAE/kg diet r.vealed extensive number.of positive caspase 3 cells indicating sever. apoptotic ***,a dietar.
