Identifying high-risk over-entitlem.nt in access control policies using fuzzy logic

Analysing access control policies is an essential process for ensuring over-prescribed perm.ssions are identified and rem.ved. This is a tim.-consum.ng and knowledge-intensive process, largely because there is a wealth of policy inform.tion that needs to be m.nually exam.ned. Furtherm.re, there is no standard definition of what constitutes an over-entitled perm.ssion within an organisation’s access control policy, m.king it not possible to develop autom.ted rule-based approaches. It is often the case that over-entitled perm.ssions are subjective to an organisation’s role-based structure, where access is be divided and m.naged based on different em.loyee needs. In this context, an irregular perm.ssion could be one where an em.loyee has frequently changed roles, thus accum.lating a wide-ranging set of perm.ssions. There is no one size fits all approach to identifying perm.ssions where an em.loyee is receiving m.re perm.ssion than is necessary, and it is necessary to exam.ne them.in the context of the organisation to establish their individual risk. Risk is not a binary m.asure and, in this work, an approach is built using Fuzzy Logic to determ.ne an overall risk rating, which can then be used to m.ke a m.re inform.d decision as to whether a user is over-entitled and presenting risk to the organisation. This requires the exploratory use of establishing resource sensitivity and user trust as m.asures to determ.ne a risk rating. The paper presents a generic solution, which has been im.lem.nted to perform.experim.ntal analysis on m.crosoft’s New Technology File System.to show how this works in practice. A sim.lation using expert knowledge for com.arison is then perform.d to dem.nstrate how effective it is at helping the user identify potential irregular perm.ssions.

Electronic patient data gives m.ny advantages,but also new *** m.y delay procedures like acquiring patient *** deadlock resolution solutions introduce uncertainty due to inaccurate transaction *** com.uting-based solutions have been developed to solve this *** a single fram.work,am.iguous,vague,incom.lete,and inconsistent transaction attribute inform.tion has received m.nim.l *** work presented in this paper em.loyed type-2 neutrosophic logic,an extension of type-1 neutrosophic logic,to handle uncertainty in real-tim. deadlock-resolving *** proposed m.thod is structured to reflect m.ltiple types of knowledge and relations am.ng transactions’features that include validation factor degree,slackness degree,degree of deadline-m.ssed transaction based on the degree of m.m.ership of truthiness,degree ofm.m.ership of indeterm.nacy,and degree ofm.m.ership of ***,the footprint of uncertainty(FOU)for truth,indeterm.nacy,and falsity represents the level of uncertainty that exists in the value of a grade of *** em.loyed a distributed real-tim. transaction processing sim.lator(DRTTPS)to conduct the sim.lations and conducted experim.nts using the benchm.rk Pim. Indians diabetes dataset(PIDD).As the results showed,there is an increase in detection rate and a large drop in rollback rate when this new strategy is *** perform.nce of Type-2 neutrosophicbased resolution is better than the Type-1 neutrosophic-based approach on the execution ratio *** im.rovem.nt rate has reached 10%to 20%,depending on the num.er of arrived transactions.

A robust sm.le recognition system.could be widely used for m.ny real-world *** of a facial sm.le in an unconstrained setting is difficult due to the invertible and wide variety in face *** this paper,an adaptive m.del for sm.le expression classification is suggested that integrates a fast features extraction algorithm.and cascade *** m.del takes advantage of the intrinsic association between face detection,sm.le,and other face features to alleviate the over-fitting issue on the lim.ted training set and increase classification *** features are extracted taking into account to exclude any unnecessary coefficients in the feature vector;thereby enhancing the discrim.natory capacity of the extracted features and reducing the com.utational ***,the m.in causes of error in learning are due to noise,bias,and *** helps to m.nim.ze these *** of m.ltiple classifiers decrease variance,especially in the case of unstable classifiers,and m.y produce a m.re reliable classification than a single ***,a shortcom.ng of bagging as the best ensem.le classifier is its random.selection,where the classification perform.nce relies on the chance to pick an appropriate subset of training *** suggested m.del em.loys a m.dified form.of bagging while creating training sets to deal with this challenge(error-based bootstrapping).The experim.ntal results for sm.le classification on the JAFFE,CK+,and CK+48 benchm.rk datasets show the feasibility of our proposed m.del.

BACKGROUND The nature of tasks required by hand surgeons require both forceful and repetitive m.neuvers,thus subjecting these surgeons to the risk of m.sculoskeletal(m.K)injuries during their years in *** To assess the prevalence,characteristics and im.act of m.K disorders am.ng hand *** A m.dified version of the physical discom.ort survey was sent to surgeons who were m.m.ers of the Am.rican Society for Surgery of the Hand via *** collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics,one-way analysis of variance,and Fisher’s exact test.P values ofm.K injury,of which the m.st com.on diagnoses were lateral elbow epicondylitis(18.7%),low back pain(17.1%)and carpal tunnel syndrom.(15.6%).Am.ng those that reported an injury,73.1%required treatm.nt and 29.2%needed tim. off work as a direct result of their *** num.er of work-related injuries incurred by a surgeon increased significantly with increasing age(Pm.K injuries sustained by Hand surgeons with a high *** results should increase awareness on this aspect and fuel future studies directed at preventing these types of work-related injuries,thus m.nim.zing the financial and psychological burden on these surgeons and the healthcare system.

A non-solvent induced phase separation(NIPS)process was used to fabricate a series of sulfonated polyethersulfone(SPES)m.m.ranes blending with different concentrations of SBA-15-g-PSPA with the applications in the ultrafiltration(UF)***-15 was m.dified with 3-m.thacrylate-propyltrim. thoxysilane(m.S)to form.*** was further m.dified with the charge tailorable polym.r chains by reacting with 3-sulfopropyl m.thacrylate potassium.*** nanoparticles were uniform.y dispersed and finger-like channels were developed within the *** adding of surface m.dified SBA-15-g-PSPA nanoparticles has significantly im.roved m.m.rane water perm.ability,hydrophilicity,and antifouling *** pure water fluxes of the com.osite SPES m.m.ranes were significantly higher than the pristine SPES *** the m.m.rane containing 5%(m.ss)of SBA-15-g-PSPA(m.SPA5),the pure water flux was increased dram.tically to 402.15 Lm.(-2)·h^(-1),which is ~1.5 tim.s that of m.SPA0(268.0 Lm.(-2)·h^(-1)).The high flux rate was achieved with 3%(m.ss)of SBA-15 nanoparticles with retained high rejection ratio 98%for natural organic *** results indicate that the fashioned com.osite m.m.rane com.rising SBA-15-g-PSPA nanoparticles have a prom.sing future in ultrafiltration applications.
