This research aims to analyse the comparative performance of two identical photovoltaic(PV)panels with load variations and integrating an automated water-cooling process under the climatic conditions of the United Arab *** work also presents the steps of system design,implementation and performance evaluation of the proposed PV system,and all electrical,control and mechanical components along with how they were integrated within a 100-W PV ***/Simulink?was used only to simulate the behaviours of the PV panel under wide ranges of incident sunlight and ambient *** tests were performed for a day-long operation during a clear summer *** experimental results demonstrate an improvement in the PV system performance compared with the uncooled system by~1.6%in terms of total harvested energy using the proposed water-cooling process with a frequency of 2 minutes of cooling operation every 30 minutes during day hours.

The organic Rankine cycle(ORC)coupled with a linear Fresnel reflector(LFR)utilizes a low-grade heat *** article presents the study of a small-scale LFR-ORC power-generation plant under the climatic conditions of Almatret,*** mathematical modelling is performed using thermodynamic equations and simulations are conducted to evaluate the optical performance of the LFR system and thermal performance of the ORC ***-62 is used as a heat-transfer fluid(HTF)in the solar field,whereas NOVEC^(TM) 649 is used as the working fluid in the ORC power *** LFR is integrated with a thermal-storage unit based on a two-tank system and stores the solar thermal energy via a heat *** thermal-energy output of the receiver tube of the LFR system is 108 kW and thermal losses are 7.872 kW during the peak time operation of a day at 1:00 *** mechanical power output of the ORC turbine is 7.296 kW using the specific design conditions and the two-tank thermal-storage system adds 4 operation hours to the power plant after sunset.

The Complex Field Theory and Mass Formation—An Alternative Model to Higgs Mechanism

The electromagnetic force, strong nuclear force, weak nuclear force, and gravitational force are the four fundamental forces of nature. The Standard Model (SM) succeeded in combining the first three forces to describe the most basic building blocks of matter and govern the universe. Despite the model’s great success in resolving many issues in particle physics but still has several setbacks and limitations. The model failed to incorporate the fourth force of gravity. It infers that all fermions and bosons are massless contrary to experimental facts. In addition, the model addresses neither the 95% of the universe’s energy of Dark Matter (DM) and Dark Energy (DE) nor the universe’s expansion. The Complex Field Theory (CFT) identifies DM and DE as complex fields of complex masses and charges that encompasses the whole universe, and pervade all matter. This presumption resolves the issue of failing to detect DM and DE for the last five decades. The theory also presents a model for the universe’s expansion and presumes that every material object carries a fraction of this complex field proportional to its mass. These premises clearly explain the physical nature of the gravitational force and its complex field and pave the way for gravity into the SM. On the other hand, to solve the issue of massless bosons and fermions in the SM, Higgs mechanism introduces a pure and abstractive theoretical model of unimaginable four potentials to generate fictitious bosons as mass donors to fermions and W± and Z bosons. The CFT in this paper introduces, for the first time, a physical explanation to the mystery of the mass formation of particles rather than Higgs’ pure mathematical derivations. The analyses lead to uncovering the mystery of electron-positron production near heavy nuclei and never in a vacuum. In addition, it puts a constraint on Einstein’s mass-energy equation that energy can never be converted to mass without the presence of dense dark matter and cannot be true in a va

App推荐算法在实现用户和推荐内容精准匹配的同时也会导致“信息茧房”效应,加剧用户疲惫体验。基于用户应对过程理论,本研究将App用户的失实交互行为视为用户应对推送内容疲惫的一种重要“技术适应”,构建了移动App场景下算法推荐内容相似性用户应对模型。通过访谈和多轮问卷调查分析发现,算法推送内容相似性导致的疲惫体验与知觉控制感共同决定了App用户随后采取的应对努力策略。问题聚焦应对正向促进了失实交互行为,而情绪聚焦应对则对失实交互行为具有负面影响。失实交互行为中介了问题聚焦应对与情绪聚焦应对行为对用户App持续使用的影响。研究结果打开了用户疲惫体验与产品持续使用之间的理论黑箱,丰富和拓展了现有在线用户疲劳感研究和用户适应应对理论。研究结果对移动端推荐系统的开发与改进具有实践参考价值。

This study aims to investigate the effect of regeneration on the output power and the thermal efficiency of the gas turbine power plant. The effect of ambient air temperature, regeneration effectiveness, and compression ratio on the cycle thermal efficiency was also investigated. An existed gas turbine power plant of AL ZAWIA is used as a base in this study, and the calculations were carried out utilizing MATLAB code. This intensive parametric study was conducted based on the fundamental of thermodynamics and gas turbine relations considering the effect of the operation conditions (ambient air temperature, regeneration effectiveness and compression ratio). It was found that adding regeneration to the simple gas turbine cycle results in an increase in the thermal efficiency of cycle. It was also found that including regeneration in gas turbine cycle results in an increase in the output power of the cycle, and it results in a decrease in the exhaust gas temperature. The effect of the regeneration effectiveness was also predicted. It was found that increasing of regeneration effectiveness results in an increase in the output power of the cycle. It was also found that the cycle thermal efficiency increases with increasing of the regenerative effectiveness. The effect of ambient air temperature was also predicted. Increasing of the ambient air temperature results in a decrease in the thermal efficiency of the cycle.

According to the specific properties of UO2 obtained by the thermal decomposition and reduction of ammonium uranyl carbonate and the experimental data analysis of dynamics, in combination with the practical experience of production, we determined to use the hydro-fluorination process of horizontal stirred furnace. The productive operations and modifications for hydro-fluorination of UO2 are mainly summarized in this paper. The dimension of a furnace cylinder is 0.16 m × 2 m and two furnaces link up in series. Gas phase reacts with solid phase in counter flow. The temperature gradient of the reaction from the feed ends of raw material UO2 the discharge and of UF4 is 250-300-400-480 °C. The UF4 content in product is greater than/or equal to 92%, and the hydrogen fluoride concentration in tail gas is 20± 5%.

Socio-Demographic and Economic Correlates of Climate Change Coping and Adaptation Strategies: A Study on the Farmer Communities in Barisal District, Bangladesh

The major objective of the study is to apply Conservation of Resource (COR) theory for examining the influence of farmers’ socio-demographic and economic correlates upon their adoption of agricultural, economic and emotion-focused coping and adaptation strategies of climate change. An interview schedule developed from the COR theory was utilized for data collection. Using multistage cluster sampling technique, a total of 384 farmers were chosen from Agailjhara Upazila of Barisal District and interviewed through a predesigned structured questionnaire. For triangulation of the quantitative findings, the study employed case study technique to collect qualitative data from the respondents. The findings of the study demonstrate that the most common emotion- focused, agricultural and economic coping and adaptation strategies of climate change were social support seeking (79.69%), planting trees (71.35%), homestead gardening (52.08%), hydroponic farming/floating garden (46.88%), duck rearing (30.73%), saving (20.83%), self-insurance (18.75%), etc. Bivariate results indicate that age, ownership of land, income and ownership of television or mobile phone were found significantly correlated with the three variables, including economic, agricultural and emotion-focused coping and adaptation strategies of COR theory. Again, access to microcredit has relationship with economic and agricultural adaptation strategies. Furthermore, education has significant relationship with agricultural adaptation strategies. The study suggests that continuous researches by policy makers, researchers, GOs and NGOs are very essential to exploring and enhancing farmers’ coping and adaptation strategies which may relegate the adverse impacts and vulnerabilities of climate change in the study area.

Rapid diagnosis and choice of appropriate antibiotic treatment might be life-saving in serious infectious diseases. Still the available markers that can evaluate and monitor the diagnosis and treatment are few. Hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) has been studied as a potent regenerative factor produced and released during injuries such as infectious diseases. Monitoring of HGF levels might predict therapy results better than C-reactive protein (CRP) within the first day of treatment in pneumonia. For further investigation of previous observations we aimed to study HGF as a first-day marker in over-representing infectious diseases in comparison to procalcitonin (PCT), CRP and body temperature. Fifty-one patients with community acquired infectious diseases were included consequently at admittance and the serum samples were collected before and within 18 - 24 hours of treatment. HGF levels decreased significantly in case of efficient antibiotic therapy and HGF was shown to be better than PCT, CRP and body temperature to evaluate treatment. In patients with pneumonia, monitoring of HGF was most reasonable. HGF might be used as a therapeutic marker within the first day of empiric antibiotic treatment during infection.

Classification of Hematological Data Using Data Mining Technique to Predict Diseases

Over the years, the amount of information about patients and medical information has grown substantially. Moreover, due to an increase of blood diseases patients, conventional diagnostic tests have been using by the medical pathologists which are low in cost and result in an inaccurate diagnosis. To recognize optimal disease pattern from hematological data, a reliable prediction methodology is needed for medical professionals. Data mining approaches permit users to examine data from various dimensions, group it and sum up the relationships identified. Classification is a vital data mining technique with extensive applications. Classification algorithms are applied to categorize every item in a set of data into one of a known set of classes. The objective of this paper is to compare different classification algorithms using Waikato Environment for Knowledge Analysis and to find out a most effective algorithm for end-user functioning on hematological data. The most efficient algorithm found is Random Forest having accurateness at 96.47% and the overall time is taken to construct the model is 0.16 seconds which is more efficient than different existing works. On the contrary, Multilayer Perceptron classifier has the lowest accuracy of 75.29% with 1.92 seconds to construct the model.
