A novel Eu^(2+)-Eu^(3+)co-activated ratiometric thermo-sensitive phosphor was developed and synthesized by solid-state *** valence state of Eu,ph.t.luminescence and thermo-sensitive performance of the phosphor prepared either in ambient air or carbothermally were investigated and *** phosphor shows high sensitivity(sa=0.0173 K^(-1),S_(r)=0.461%/K)and superior signal discriminability(Δν∼10380 cm^(−1)).the thermo-sensitive performance is subject to the dual effects of different thermo-responses by Eu^(2+)versus Eu^(3+)combined with energy transfer from Eu^(2+)to Eu^(3+),so th.t.the sensitivity of the phosphor in the temperature range presents a non-monotonic *** development of the BaAl_(2)B_(2)O_(7):Eu^(2+),Eu^(3+)phosphor is not only expected to be relevant for application in the field of temperature sensing,but also of reference significance for improving the sensitivity by means of energy transfer between co-activator ions over a wider temperature range of Eu^(2+)-Eu^(3+)co-activated ratiometric thermo-sensitive phosphors.

BACKGROUND Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is a liver condition th.t.is prevalent worldwide and associated with significant health risks and economic *** it has been linked to insulin resistance(ir),this study aimed to perform a bibliometric analysis and visually represent the scientific literature on ir and *** to map the research landscape to underscore critical areas of focus,influential studies,and future directions of NAFLD and *** this study conducted a bibliometric analysis of the literature on ir and NAFLD indexed in the SciVerse Scopus database from 1999 to *** search strategy used terms from the literature and medical subject headings,focusing on terms related to ir and *** software was used to visualize research.t.ends,collaborations,and key thematic *** analysis examined publication type,annual research output,contributing countries and institutions,funding agencies,journal impact factors,citation patterns,and highly cited *** this analysis identified 23124 documents on NAFLD,revealing a significant increase in the number of publications between 1999 and *** search retrieved 715 papers on ir and NAFLD,including 573(80.14%)articles and 88(12.31%)*** most productive countries were China(n=134;18.74%),the United States(n=122;17.06%),Italy(n=97;13.57%),and Japan(n=41;5.73%).the leading institutions included the Universitàdegli Studi di torino,Italy(n=29;4.06%),and the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche,Italy(n=19;2.66%).the top funding agencies were the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases in the United States(n=48;6.71%),and the National Natural Science Foundation of China(n=37;5.17%).the most active journals in this field were hepatology(27 publications),the Journal of hepatology(17 publications),and the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism(13 publications).the main research h.t.pots were“therapeutic approaches for ir and NAFLD”and“inflamma

the superplastic behavior and associated deformation mechanisms of a fine-grained Mg-10.1 Li-0.8Al-0.6Zn alloy(LAZ1011)with a grain size of 3.2μm,primarily composed of the BCCβphase and a small amount of the hCPαphase,were examined in a temperature range of 473 K to 623 *** microstructural refinement of this alloy was achieved by employing high-ratio differential speed *** best superplasticity was achieved at 523 K and at strain rates of 10^(-4)-5×10^(-4)s^(-1),where tensile elongations of 550±600%were *** the heating and holding stage of the tensile samples prior to tensile loading,a significant increase in grain size was observed at temperatures above 573 ***,it was important to consider this effect when analyzing and understanding the superplastic deformation behavior and *** the investigated strain rate range,the superplastic flow at low strain rates was governed by lattice diffusion-controlled grain boundary sliding,while at high strain rates,lattice diffusion-controlled dislocation climb creep was the rate-controlling deformation *** was concluded th.t.solute drag creep is unlikely to *** the late stages of deformation at 523 K,it was observed th.t.grain boundary sliding led to the agglomeration of theαphase,resulting in significant strain *** mechanism maps were constructed forβ-Mg-Li alloys in the form of 2D and 3D formats as a function of strain rate,stress,temperature,and grain size,using the constitutive equations for various deformation mechanisms derived based on the data of the current tests.

We carried out this research at Abu-Gaddaf Natural Forest Reserve (ANFR) which is located east of Blue Nile River, in Blue Nile State, Sudan. It aims at exploring tree composition assessing their diversity indices, and ecological importance values. For survey of types and estimation of density of tree species in the forest, we randomly distributed 97 circular sample plots (0.1 hectare (ha)). In each sample plot we identified all trees to the species level, recorded their frequencies and computed species diversity and importance value indices (IVI). A total of 13 tree species, which belong to 12 genera and nine families, were identified in the tree layer of the forest. Mean tree density in ANFR was 116 trees/ha, composed mainly of Boswellia papyrifera (Del.) hoch.t. (48), followed by Combretum hartmannianu (19) and Lannea fruticosa (18). Fabaceae was the most common family followed by Combretaceae and Malvaceae. B. papyrifera Delile hoch.t.was the most abundant while Acacia seyal was the least abundant species. Species richness (R = 1.71), evenness (E = 0.69), dominance (0.24) indices and Simpson’s Index of Diversity (D' = 0.76) suggest a moderate diversity, moderate numbers of individuals in each species and a moderate community stability. the research provides empirical results on diversity and ecological importance value of species, signifies the urging need to safeguard threatened species and to prioritize them for conservation, as well as the need to promote management of abundant species to provide multiple forest ecosystem services.

Slits have been widely used in laser-plasma interactions as plasma optical components for generating high-harmonic light and controlling laser-driven particle ***,we propose and demonstrate th.t.periodic thin slits can be regarded as a new breed of optical elements for efficient focusing and guiding of intense laser *** fundamental physics of intense laser interaction with.t.in slits is studied,and it is revealed th.t.relativistic effects can lead to enhanced laser focusing far beyond the pure diffractive focusing *** addition,the interaction of an intense laser pulse with periodic thin slits makes it feasible to achieve multifold enhancement in both laser intensity and energy transfer efficiency compared with conventional *** results provide a novel method for manipulating ultra-intense laser pulses and should be of interest for many laser-based applications.

In this study,we conducted a search for dark matter using a part of the data recorded by the CMS experiment during run-I of the LhC in 2012 with a center of mass energy of 8 teV and an integrated luminosity of 11.6 fb−*** data were gathered from the CMS open *** matter,in the framework of the simplified model(mono-Z′),can be produced from proton-proton collisions in association with a new hypoth.t.cal gauge boson,Z′.thus,the search was conducted in the dimuon plus large missing transverse momentum *** benchmark scenario of mono-Z′,which is known as light vector,was used for interpreting the CMS open *** evidence of dark matter was observed,and exclusion limits were set on the masses of dark matter and Z′at 95%confidence level.

BACKGROUND the intricate relationship between type 2 diabetes mellitus(t2DM)and diabetic nephropathy(DN)presents a challenge in understanding the significance of various biomarkers in *** to elucidate the roles and diagnostic values ofα2-macroglobulin(α2-MG),podocalyxin(PCX),α-L-fucosidase(AFU),retinol-binding protein-4(RBP-4),and cystatin C(CysC)in *** From December 2018 to December 2020,203 t2DM patients were enrolled in the *** these,115 were diagnosed with DN(115 patients),while the remaining 88 patients were classified as *** urinary levels ofα2-MG,PCX,and AFU and the serum concentrations RBP-4 and CysC were measured in conjunction with other relevant clinical indicators to evaluate their potential correlations and diagnostic *** After adjustments for age and gender,significant positive correlations were observed between the biomarkers CysC,RBP-4,α2-MG/urinary creatinine(UCr),PCX/UCr,and AFU/UCr,and clinical indicators such as urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio(UACR),serum creatinine,urea,24-h.t.tal urine protein,and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR).Conversely,these biomarkers exhibited negative correlations with.t.e estimated glomerular filtration rate(Pting characteristic(ROC)curve analysis further demonstrated the diagnostic performance of these biomarkers,with UACR showcasing the highest area under the ROC curve(AUC^(ROC))at *** this study underscores the diagnostic significance ofα2-MG,PCX,and AFU in the development of *** biomarkers RBP-4,CysC,PCX,AFU,andα2-MG provide promising diagnostic insights,while UACR is the most potent diagnostic biomarker in assessing DN.
