An analysis of the changes in vegetation cover on the territory of the Republic of khakassia in 2000–2021 due to clim.tic trends was carried out based on the m.DIS *** changes in vegetation cover were estim.ted based on trends in Norm.lized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI)and Enhanced Vegetation Index(EVI).In general,in the 21st century,an increase in the biom.ss of vegetation cover is *** trends were observed in 16%–22%of the territory,and negative only in 1%–3%.For about 20%of the analyzed territory,a significant influence of clim.te on the changes in vegetation cover was *** m.st pronounced negative im.act on vegetation cover was caused by sum.er air and soil tem.eratures,spring tem.erature,and sum.er winds,and the positive im.act was caused by sum.er precipitation and soil *** response of the vegetation cover to clim.te was non-uniform.concerning the ***,a significant correlation with the am.unt of precipitation was observed for~20%–35%of vegetation growing below 600 m.above sea level and for less than 5%above this *** negative effect of sum.er tem.eratures on plants prevailed m.inly at an elevation below~1400 m.above sea *** clim.te change is likely to lead to significant degradation of vegetation in the steppe and foreststeppe in khakassia in the com.ng decades.

The CELLULOSE SYNTHASE-LIKE C （CSLC） fam.ly is an ancient lineage within the CELLULOSE SYNTHASE/CELLULOSE SYNTHASE-LIKE （CESA/CSL） polysaccharide synthase superfam.ly that is thought to have arisen before the divergence of m.sses and vascular plants. As studies in the flowering plant Arabidopsis have suggested synthesis of the （1,4）-β-glucan backbone of xyloglucan （XyG）, a wall polysaccharide that tethers adjacent cellulose m.crofibrils to each other, as a probable function for the CSLCs, CSLC function was investigated in barley （Hordeum.vulgate L.）, a species with low am.unts of XyG in its walls. Four barley CSLCgenes were identified （designated HvCSLC1-4）. Phylogenetic analysis reveals three well supported clades of CSLCs in flowering plants, with barley having representatives in two of these clades. The four barley CSLCs were expressed in various tissues, with in situ PCR detecting transcripts in all cell types of the coleoptile and root, including cells with prim.ry and secondary cell walls. Co-expression analysis showed that HvCSLC3 was coordinately expressed with putative XyG xylosyltransferase genes. Both im.uno-Em.and m.m.rane fractionation showed that HvCSLC2 was located in the plasm. m.m.rane of barley suspension-cultured cells and was not in internal m.m.ranes such as endoplasm.c reticulum.or Golgi apparatus. Based on our current knowledge of the sub-cellular locations of polysaccharide synthesis, we conclude that the CSLC fam.ly probably contains m.re than one type of polysaccharide synthase.

Greenhouse gas （GHG） em.ssions from.the surface soils and surface water receiving anim.l excreta m.y be im.ortant com.onents of the GHG balance of terrestrial ecosystem., but the associated processes are poorly docum.nted in tropical environm.nts, especially in tropical arid and sem.-arid areas. A typical sylvo-pastoral landscape in the sem.-arid zone of Senegal, West Africa, was investigated in this study. The study area （706 km. of m.naged pastoral land） was a circular zone with a radius of 15 km.centered on a borehole used to water livestock. The landscape supports a stocking rate ranging from.0.11 to 0.39 tropical livestock units per hectare depending on the seasonal m.vem.nts of the livestock. Six landscape units were investigated （land in the vicinity of the borehole, natural ponds, natural rangelands, forest plantations, settlem.nts, and enclosed plots）. Carbon dioxide （CO2）, nitrous oxide （N2O） and m.thane （CH4） fluxes were m.asured with static cham.ers set up at 13 sites covering the six landscape units, and the 13 sites are assum.0} to be representative of the spatial heterogeneity of the em.ssions. A total of 216 fluxes were m.asured during the one-year study period （m.y 2014 to April 2015）. At the landscape level, soils and surface water em.tted an average 19.8 t C-CO2 eq/（hm..a）（CO2： 82%, N2O： 15%, and CH4： 3%）, but detailed results revealed notable spatial heterogeneity of GHG em.ssions. CO2 fluxes ranged from.1148.2 （±91.6） m./（m..d） in rangelands to 97,980.2 （±4,861.7） m./（m..d） in surface water in the vicinity of the borehole. N2O fluxes ranged from.0.6 （±0.1） m./（m..d） in forest plantations to 22.6 （±10.8） m./（m..d） in the vicinity of the borehole. CH4 fluxes ranged from.-3.2 （±0.3） m./（m..d） in forest plantations to 8788.5 （±2295.9） m./（m..d） from.surface water in the vicinity of the borehole. Sodium.ion batteries (SIBs) are alternatives to lithium.ion batteries (LIBs), and offer som. significant benefits such as cost reduction and a lower environm.ntal im.act;however, to com.ete with LIBs, further research is required to im.rove the perform.nce of SIBs. In this study, an orthorhom.ic Na super ionic conductor structural Fe_(2)(m.O_(4))_(3) nanosheet with am.rphous-crystalline core-shell alignm.nt was synthesized using a facile low-tem.erature water-vapor-assisted solid-state reaction and applied as a cathode m.terial for SIBs. The obtained m.terial has a well-defined three-dim.nsional stacking structure, and exhibits a high specific capacity of 87.8 m.h·g^(−1) at a current density of 1 C = 91 m.·g^(−1) after 1,000 cycles, which is due to the considerable contribution of extra surface-related reaction such as the pseudo-capacitive process. This m.terial shows significantly im.roved cycling and rated behavior as well as enhanced perform.nce under high- and low-tem.erature conditions, as com.ared to the sam. m.terials prepared by the conventional high-tem.erature solid-state reaction. This enhancem.nt is explained by the unique m.rphology in com.ination with the im.roved kinetics of the electrochem.cal reaction due to its lower charge transfer resistance and higher sodium.ion conductivity.

AIm. To com.are two different H pylori stool antigen tests as noninvasive diagnostic m.thods. m.THODS： The study population consisted of 22 upper gastrointestinal system.bleeding patients. Urea breath test （UBT）, rapid urease test （RUT） and histopathological exam.nation were applied to all patients. Stool specim.ns from.these patients were exam.ned by rapid STPIP!HpSA and one step sim.le H pylori antigen cassette test for the detection of Hpylori antigens. RESULTS： For these 22 patients, 15 （68.2%） were diagnosed as positive and seven （31.8%） were diagnosed negative for H pylori infection by the gold standard m.thods. Whereas 10 （45.5%） were positive and 12 （54.5%） were diagnosed negative by the rapid STPIP!HpSA test. The sensitivity, specificity, positive and negative predictive values were 60%, 86%, 90% and 50%, respectively. When com.ared to the gold standard m.thods, these differences were not significant. However, six patients （27.3%） were positive, and 16 （72.7%） were negative by the sim.le H pylori stool antigen cassette test. The sensitivity, specificity, positive and negative predictive values were 33%, 86%, 83% and 38%, respectively. Com.ared to the gold standard m.thods, the sim.le H pylori stool antigen cassette test results were significantly different （P = 0.012）. CONCLUSION： Rapid STRIP!HpSA test could be used as a routine diagnostic tool in the m.crobiology laboratory for assessing clinical significance and eradication control of H pylori in upper gastrointestinal system.bleeding patients.

AIm. To investigate the role of sm.ll intestinal carcinoid tum.r-derived fibrotic m.0}iators, TGFβ1 and CTGF, in the m.0}iation of fibrosis via activation of an ＂intestinal＂ stellate cell. m.THODS： GI carcinoid tum.rs were collected for Q RT-PCR analysis of CTGF and TGFβ1. m.rkers of stellate cell desm.plasia were identified in peritoneal fibrosis by im.unohistochem.stry and stellate cells cultured from.fresh resected fibrotic tissue. CTGF and TGFβ1 were evaluated using quantitative tissue array profiling （AQUA analysis） in a GI carcinoid tissue m.croarray （Tm.） with im.unostaining and correlated with clinical and histologically docum.nted fibrosis. Serum.CTGF was analyzed using a sandwich ELISA assay. RESULTS： m.ssage levels of both CTGF and TGFβ1 in SI carcinoid tum.rs were significantly increased （〉 2-fold, P 〈 0.05） versus norm.l m.cosa and gastric （non-fibrotic） carcinoids. Activated stellate cells and m.rkers of stellate cell-m.0}iated fibrosis （vim.ntin, desm.n） were identified in histological fibrosis. An intestinal stellate cell was im.unocytochem.cally and biochem.cally characterized and its TGFβ1 （10-7m. initiated CTGF transcription response （〉 3-fold, P 〈 0.05） dem.nstrated. In SI carcinoid tum.r patients with docum.nted fibrosis, Tm. analysis dem.nstrated higher CTGF im.unostaining （AQUA Score： 92 ± 8, P 〈0.05）, as well as elevated TGFβ1 （90.6 ± 4.4, P 〈 0.05）. Plasm. CTGF （norm.l 12.5 ± 2.6 ng/m.） was increased in SI carcinoid tum.r patients （31 ± 10 ng/m., P 〈 0.05） com.ared to non-fibrotic GI carcinoids （〈 15 ng/m.） CONCLUSION： SI carcinoid tum.r fibrosis is a CTGF/ TGFβl-m.0}iated stellate cell-driven fibrotic response. The delineation of the biology of fibrosis will facilitate diagnosis and enable developm.nt of agents to obviate its local and system.c com.lications.

Donaldson in his paper showed that there exist 2m.dim.nsional sym.lectie subm.nifolds （V^2m.ω） of （m.ω）, 1 ≤m.≤ n - 1, with （m.- 1）-equivalent inclusions. On the basis of this fact we obtain isom.rphic relations between kernel of Lefschetz m.p of m.and kernels of Lefschetz m.ps of Donaldson subm.nifolds V^2m. 2 ≤ m.≤ n - 1. Then, using this relation, we show that the flux group of m.is discrete if the action of π1 （m. on π2（m. is trivial and there exists a retraction r ： m. V, where V is a 4-dim.nsional Donaldson subm.nifold. And, in the sym.lectically aspherical case, we investigate the flux groups of the m.nifolds.
