During th. past few years,Egypt h.s increased th. sh.re of electricity generation from renewable energy sources to ach.eve th. renewable-energy *** Egyptian Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy h.s set an ambitious target to increase th. sh.re of renewable energy among th. total energy mix to be 20%by 2022 and 42%by *** target will be ach.eved using several approved policies such.as feed-in tariffs,build-own-operate and independent power producers under a merch.nt *** paper presents a full analysis of wind-potential ch.racteristics at Elkharga Oasis in Egypt based on an actual wind-measurement campaign taken by a met mast at two h.igh. levels of 10 and 25 m,*** measurements sh.w an average annual wind speed of 5.72 m/s at 10-m h.igh. and 6.53 m/s at>25-m *** estimated wind speed,h.wever,is 8.38 m/s at 120 m,wh.ch.is tech.ically convenient to generate electricity from wind *** th.s paper,th. wind potential in th. area is assessed using th. statistical meth.d of th. Weibull probability density *** different meth.ds to estimate th. Weibull distribution parameters are presented and th. relevant accuracy is verified based on th. root mean square error.A tech.o-economic assessment and selection of th. optimal wind-turbine size with.ideal micro-sitings are performed using th. software package *** cases of study for th.ee typical wind-turbine models with.various rotor diameters,power capacity,layout configuration and annual yield are assessed at th. *** selection of th. most convenient wind turbine is determined based on th. Positive and Negative Environmental Effect of Using Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles on Wh.at under Drough. Stress

Nanoscience is a development concept in th. field of agriculture. Water scarcity is one of th. most serious stresses th.t restrict growth.of plant. Th.s search.was done to value th. positive and negative influence of ZnO nanoparticles on wh.at plant growth.under drough. stress. A green synth.sis tech.ique was used to produce pollutant-free nano structures. A field experiment was carried out during successive season (2019/2020). NP-Zn-O was applied eith.r by seed-soaking, foliar spraying, or both.togeth.r applications. Th. dose of ZnO NPs was 100 mg/l. Data sh.wed th.t drough. stress reduced th. grain and sh.ot wh.at yield. Th. use of different forms of ZnO improved th. grain and sh.ot wh.at yield, th.se increases reach.d 1.16-, 1.54-fold th.t control. In addition, one of th. oth.r effects of Zn-O-NPs is to increase th. levels of ch.oroph.ll and proline antioxidants in plant tissues, as it is a cofactor for enzymes such.as superoxide dismutase and catalase. Th. data suggest th.t th. role of ZnO NPs is not only to improve plant growth.and ph.siological parameters, but also to improve nutrient uptake and plant nutrient levels. In th.s regard, th. use of zinc in th. form of ZnO NPs h.s a positive effect on reducing th. adverse effects of drough. conditions and improving th. nutritional quality of plants.

Synth.sis and reactions of some 6-aryl and 2,6-diaryl-4-(4'-antipyrinyl)-2,3,4,5-tetrah.dropyridasin-3-ones and screening for th.ir antibacterial activities

Some new pyridazinone derivatives(3) were synth.sized th.ough.addition of antipyrin to β- aroylacrylic acids (1) followed by cyclization of th. adducts. Reactions of 3 with.eth.l bromoacetate, benzenesulfonyl ch.oride, benzoyl ch.oride and POCl_3 give N-substituted products and monoch.orosub- stituted pyridazines (4), respectively. Th. reactions of th. latter with.th.ourea give unexpected dith.o- derivatives(5), wh.ch.react with.ph.nylh.drazine to give pyrazolopyridazino pyridazine derivatives (6). Reactions of 2 with.Nh.2Oh.in eth.nol and pyridine afford oxime and oxazinone derivatives 7 and 8, tespectively. Th. antibacterial activities of several compounds were screened.

Th. motion of a magnetized axisymmetric spacecraft about its center of mass in a circular orbit is considered, taking th. gravitational and magnetic effects of th. central body into account. Equations of motion of th. reduced system are transformed to equations of plane motion of a ch.rged particle under th. action of electric and magnetic fields. Formation of AlN from Secondary Al Resources

Synth.sis of AlN by Nh.Cl-assisted direct nitridation of secondary Al resources was studied. Aluminum alloy scrap contained Mg and Zn element was used. Milled Al scrap （-1 mm） was mixed with.Nh.Cl and h.ated at 1000℃ for 1 h.in presence of 1 L/min N2 flow gas. Th. nitrided product was evaluated by X-ray diffraction semi-quantitative analysis and scanning electron microscopy （SEM）. Aluminium nitride of 90.5% concentration was obtained with.a h.xagonal crystalline form. AlN is mostly formed in nano-wh.sker morph.logy （50～150 nm） wh.ch.is h.mogenously distributed.

Preparation of h.drogel Based on Acryl Amide and Investigation of Different Factors Affecting Rate and Amount of Absorbed Water

h.drogel is considered as an important material in our world nowadays as it is used in many important and significant applications such.as in tissue engineering and agriculture. Th.re are h.ndreds of types of such.materials, wh.re most of th.m can be easily prepared. Th. main objective of th.s work is to prepare one of th. h.drogel types wh.ch.could be very useful in th. agriculture of deserts wh.re plants in dry places require water in order to grow up. Th.re are many places around th. world wh.re raining occurs only once or twice a year. Th.re are also places wh.re it does not rain at all. Th.refore, h.drogels are required in order to absorb water in large quantities eith.r during raining or irrigation instead of escaping to underground and th.n eject th.m to th. roots of plants over time as th. plants require watering. In th.s research.a h.drogel based on acryl amide, Poly 2-Acrylamide-2-Meth.l-1-Propane Sulph.nic Acid, (PAMPS) was prepared by using different percentages of a suitable cross-linking agent, Meth.lene-bis-Acrylamide. Th. cross-linker content is very important factor affects th. rate and amount of absorbed water. Th. h.gh.st amount of absorbed water at 25°C was observed by using 0.6% cross-linking agent based on monomer mass. Th. temperature of absorbed water and its ph.value are also essential factors th.t affect th. rate and th. amount of absorbed water and were investigated in th.s work. Th. h.gh.st amount of absorbed water was recorded at ph.= 12 and at 60°C. Th. amount and th. rate of water absorbed by Sodium Polyacrylate h.drogel were also investigated at 25°C. Th. agriculture applications of h.drogel based on Sodium Polyacrylate were examined using Fenugreek seeds implanting.
