The exponential growth in communication networks,data technology,advanced libraries,and mainly World Wide Web services has played a pivotal role in facilitating the retrieval of various types of information as ***,this progress has also led to security concerns related to the transmission of confidential ***,safeguarding these data during communication through insecure channels is crucial for obvious *** emergence of steganography offers a robust approach to concealing confidential information,such as images,audio tracks,text files,and video files,in suitable media carriers.A novel technique is envisioned based on back-propagation *** to the proposed method,a hybrid fuzzy neural network(HFNN)is applied to the output obtained from the least significant bit substitution of secret data using pixel value dif-ferences and exploiting the modification *** simulation and test results,it has been observed that the proposed methodology achieves secure steganography and superior visual *** the experiments,we observed that for the secret image of the cameraman,the PSNR&MSE values of the proposed technique are 61.963895 and 0.041361,respectively.

While Egypt’s canola production per unit area has recently grown,productivity remains low,necessitating increased *** are water-absorbent polymer compounds that can optimize irrigation schedules by increasing the soil’s ability to retain ***,twoﬁeld experiments were conducted to examine hydrogel application to sandy soil on canola growth,biochemical aspects,yield,yield traits,and nutritional quality of yielded seeds grown under water deﬁcit stress *** experiments were conducted by arranging a split-plot layout in a randomized complete block design(RCBD)with three times replications of each *** water stress at 75%or 50%of crop evapotranspiration(ETc)lowered chlorophyll a,chlorophyll b,caro-tenoids,and total pigments content,indole-3-acetic acid,plant development,seed yield,and oil and total carbo-hydrates of seed yield,hydrogel treatment enhanced all of the traits mentioned ***,hydrogel enhanced to gather compatible solutes(proline,amino acids,total soluble sugars),phenolics content in leaves,seed protein,and crop water productivity,which increased while the plants were under water *** results revealed that the full irrigation(100%ETc)along with hydrogel compared to water-stressed(50%ETc)led to enhanced seed yield(kg ha^(-1)),Oil(%),and Total carbohydrates(%)of rapeseed by 57.1%,11.1%and 15.7%,***,under water-stressed plots with hydrogel exhibited enhancement by 10.0%,3.2%and 5.1%in seed yield(kg ha^(-1)),oil(%),and total carbohydrates(%)of rapeseed by 57.1%,11.1%and 15.7%,respec-tively compared to *** a result,the use of hydrogel polymer will be a viable and practical solution for increasing agricultural output under water deﬁcit stress situations.

How can inter-specific interferences explain coexistence or confirm the competitive exclusion principle in a chemos tat?

In this paper, I consider two species feeding on limiting substrate in a chemostat taking into account some possible effects of each species on the other one. System of differential equations is proposed as model of these effects with general inter-specific density-dependent growth rates. Three cases were considered. The first one for a mutual inhibitory relationship where it is proved that at most one species can survive which confirms the competitive exclusion principle. Initial concentrations of species have great importance in determination of which species is the winner. The second one for a food web relationship where it is proved that under general assumptions on the dilution rate, both species persist for any initial conditions. Finally, a third case dealing with an obligate mutualistic relationship was discussed. It is proved that initial condition has a great importance in determination of persistence or extinction of both species.

For reinforced concrete members subjected to high temperature,the degree of in-service loading,commonly expressed as the loading ratio,can be highly influential on the structural *** particular,the loading ratio may be pivotal in relation to the phenomenon of load-induced thermal *** its potentially pivotal role,to date,the influence of the loading ratio on both material and structural behavior has not been explored in *** practice,real structures experience variation in imposed loading during their service life and it is important to understand the likely response at elevated temperatures across the loading *** this paper,the effect of the loading ratio is numerically investigated at both material and structural level using a validated finite element *** model incorporates a proposed constitutive model accounting for load-induced thermal strain and this is shown to outperform the existing Eurocode 2 model in terms of *** the validated model,the specific case of flats slabs and the associated connections to supporting columns at various loading ratios are *** the cases examined,a marked difference in the structural behavior including displacement direction was captured from low to high loading ratios consistent with experimental observations.

Sprouts are ready-to-eat and are recognized worldwide as functional components of the human *** advances in innovative agricultural techniques could enable an increase in the production of healthy *** use of light-emitting diode(led)in indoor agricultural production could alter the biological feedback loop,increasing the functional beneﬁts of plant foods such as wheat and lentil sprouts and promoting the bioavailability of *** effects of white(W),red(R),and blue(B)light were investigated on the growth parameters and nutritional value of wheat and lentil *** the laboratory,seeds were sown under three different led treat-ments:white,red,and blue light,while normal incandescent light served as a *** seed germina-tion improved by 18.34%and 12.67%for wheat and 18.34%and 12.67%for lentil sprouts under led treatments R and B,*** increase in total soluble protein and sugar by 33.4%and 9.23%in wheat and by 31.5%and 5.87%in lentils was observed under the R led *** C concentrations in wheat and lentils were signiﬁcantly increased by R led compared to all other *** parameters,including potassium and sodium concentrations,were signiﬁcantly increased under red and blue light compared to the control;white light,on the other hand,signiﬁcantly decreased all these *** to the experimental data,red and blue led light could be beneﬁcial in the production of functional wheat and lentil sprouts with high nutrient concentrations.

Mode-I crack in a two-dimensional fibre-reinforced generalized thermoelastic problem

A general model of the equations of the Lord-Sulman theory including one relaxation time and the Green-Lindsay theory with two relaxation times, as well as the classical dynamical coupled theory, are applied to the study of the influence of reinforcement on the total deformation for an infinite space weakened by a finite linear opening mode- I crack. We study the influence of reinforcement on the total deformation of rotating thermoelastic half-space and their interaction with each other. The material is homogeneous isotropic elastic half space. The crack is subjected to prescribed temperature and stress distributions. The normal mode analysis is used to obtain the exact expressions for displacement components, force stresses, and temperature. The variations of the considered variables with the horizontal distance are illustrated graphically. Comparisons are made with the results obtained in the three theories with and without rotation. A comparison is also made between the two theories for different depths.

Generation of Eco-Friendly and Disease-Resistant Channel Catfish(Ictalurus punctatus)Harboring the alligator Cathelicidin Gene via CRISPR/Cas9 Engineering

As a precise and versatile tool for genome manipulation,the clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats(CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated protein 9(Cas9)platform holds promise for modifying fish traits of *** the aim of reducing transgene introgression and controlling reproduction,upscaled disease resistance and reproductive intervention in catfish species have been studied to lower the potential environmental risks of the introgression of escapees as transgenic *** advantage of the CRISPR/Cas9-mediated system,we succeeded in integrating the cathelicidin gene(As-Cath)from an alligator(alligator sinensis)into the target luteinizing hormone(lh)locus of channel catfish(Ictalurus punctatus)using two delivery systems assisted by double-stranded DNA(dsDNA)and single-stranded oligodeoxynucleotides(ssODNs),*** this study,high knock in(KI)efficiency(22.38%,64/286)but low ontarget events was achieved using the ssODN strategy,whereas adopting a dsDNA as the donor template led to an efficient on-target KI(10.80%,23/213).The on-target KI of As-Cath was instrumental in establishing the lh knockout(LH^(–)_As-Cath^(+))catfish line,which displayed heightened disease resistance and reduced fecundity compared with the wild-type(WT)sibling ***,administration of human chorionic gonadotropin(HCG)and luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone analogue(LHRHa)can restore the reproduction of the transgenic fish ***,we replaced the lh gene with an alligator cathelicidin transgene and then administered hormone therapy to move towards complete reproductive control of diseaseresistant transgenic catfish in an environmentally responsible *** strategy not only effectively improves consumer-valued traits but also guards against unwanted introgression,providing a breakthrough in aquaculture genetics to confine fish reproduction and prevent the establishment of transgenic or domestic genotypes in the natural environment.

The effect of a magnetic field on a 2D problem of fibre-reinforced thermoelasticity rotation under three theories

In the present paper, we introduce the coupled theory （CD）, Lord-Schulman （LS） theory, and Green-Lindsay （GL） theory to study the influences of a magnetic field and rotation on a two-dimensional problem of fibre-reinforced thermoelasticity. The material is a homogeneous isotropic elastic half-space. The method applied here is to use normal mode analysis to solve a thermal shock problem. Some particular cases are also discussed in the context of the problem. Deformation of a body depends on the nature of the force applied as well as the type of boundary conditions. Numerical results for the temperature, displacement, and thermal stress components are given and illustrated graphically in the absence and the presence of the magnetic field and rotation.

Influence of welding on low cycle fatigue properties of Co-based superalloy FSX-414

Co-based superalloys such as FSX-414 have been recently used in gas turbine first stage nozzles. During service, nozzles are exposed to low cycle fatigue, which can lead to cracking of these components. The cracks on these nozzles are usually welded with ttmgsten arc welding （TIG） using Co-based filler metals. In this paper, the effect of TIG on the tensile and low cycle fatigue properties of Co-based superalloy FSX-414 was studied at 950℃. The experimental results show that the yield and ultimate tensile stresses of welded and unwelded specimens are comparable to each other. But toughness of welded specimens is lower than that of unwelded ones. The low cycle fatigue properties of FSX-414 were studied at a strain rate of 3.3×10^-4 s^-1, strain ratio R=-1 （R=emin/emax） and Aet （total strain change） from 0.8% to 2%. In welded specimens, at high strain cycling, the nucleation and growth of cracks occur in the welded zone. But at Aet=0.8%, fracture occurs in the same zones of unwelded specimens. The results show that the total fatigue lives of the welded specimens are shorter than those of unwelded ones. In all of the low cycle fatigue tests, softening phenomena are observed.
