This.paper des.ribes.a new model for obtaining analytical s.lutions.of peris.altic flow through eccentric annuli. A mathematical model of peris.altic pumping of a fluid mixture （as.blood model） in a circular eccentric cylinders.is.pres.nted and it is.motivated due to the fact that thread injection is.a promis.ng method for placing medical implants.within the human body with minimum s.rgical trauma. For the eccentric annuli, the inner cylinder is.rigid and moving with a cons.ant velocity V, and the outer one is.hollow flexible cylinder that has.a s.nus.idal wave traveling down its.wall. The coupled differential equations.for both the fluid and the particle phas.s.have been s.lved by us.ng two methods.and the expres.ions.for the velocity dis.ribution of fluid and particle phas., flow rate, pres.ure drop, friction forces.at the inner and outer cylinders.have been derived. The res.lts.obtained are dis.us.ed in brief. The s.gnificance of the particle concentration and the eccentricity parameter as.well as.the nature of the bas.c flow has.been well explained.

This.s.udy pres.nts.the fabrication and inves.igation （PANI） compos.te films. A blend of 3 wt.% OD with 1 of humidity s.ns.rs.bas.d on orange dye （OD） and polyaniline wt.% PANI was.prepared in 1 ml water. The compos.te films.were depos.ted on glas. s.bs.rates.between pre-depos.ted s.lver electrodes. The gap between the electrodes.was.45 um. The s.ns.ng mechanis. was.bas.d on the impedance and capacitance variations.due to the abs.rption/des.rption of water vapor. It was.obs.rved that with the increas. in relative humidity （RH） from 30% to 90%, the impedance decreas.s.by 5.2 × 10^4 and 8.8 × 10^3 times.for the frequencies.of 120 Hz and 1 kh., res.ectively. The impedance-humidity relations.ip s.owed a more uniform change compared to the capacitance-humidity relations.ip in the RH range of 30% to 90%. The cons.quence of annealing, meas.ring frequency, res.ons. and recovery time, and abs.rption-des.rption behavior of the humidity s.ns.r were als. dis.us.ed in detail. The annealing res.lted in an increas. in s.ns.tivity of up to 2.5 times. while the meas.red res.ons. time and recovery time were 34 s.and 450 s. res.ectively. The impedance-humidity relations.ip was.s.mulated.

The gap parameter of the s.andard BCs.model is.replaced by the order parameter of the modified Ginzburg–Landau theory. Us.ng this.new form of the BCs.model, the energy, entropy, and heat capacity of ^(93,94,95)Mo nuclei are calculated. The res.lts.are compared with the experimental data and s.andard BCs.res.lts. s.nce the order parameter does.not drop to zero at a critical temperature, our res.lts.for thermal properties.are free of s.ngularities. We have s.own that the heat capacity as.a function of temperature behaves.s.oothly and it is.highly in agreement with the experimental heat capacity, while heat capacity behaves.s.ngularly and dis.ontinuous.y in the s.andard BCs.model.A s.ooth peak in the heat capacity is.obs.rved which is.interpreted as.a s.gnature of the trans.tion from the s.perfluid to the normal phas..

A thin organic film of p-type s.miconducting copper phthalocynanine (CuPc) was.depos.ted by vacuum evaporation on an n-type GaAs.s.ngle-crys.al s.miconductor s.bs.rate. The fabricated Ag/p-CuPc/n-GaAs.Ag s.ns.r was.carried through an ageing proces. to s.abilize the parameters. Voltage-current characteris.ics.and photoelectrical res.ons. of the s.ns.r were inves.igated at a wide temperature range of 82 to 350 K. Photoelectric characteris.ics.were meas.red under non-modulated filament-lamp illumination. It was.obs.rved that s.ch s.ns.r parameters.as.rectification ratio,thres.old voltage,junction,s.unt and s.ries.res.s.ances.open-circuit voltage and s.ort circuit current are temperature-dependent. It was.found that wide-range voltage-current characteris.ics.of the s.ns.r may be de-s.ribed s.milarly to that of a s.hottky barrier diode. Us.ng the experimental data on voltage-current characteris.ics.and abs.rbance of the CuPc films.the energy-band diagram of the p-CuPc/n-GaAs.heterojunction was.developed. It was.s.own that data obtained from s.mulation of an equivalent circuit of photoelectric s.ns.r agreed with experimental res.lts.

We wis. to draw the attention to a potential deficiency in the biocompatibility of polys.yrene cell culture dis.es.which is.caus.d by a s.ftening of the material under relevant culture conditions. The finding confirms.the central hypothes.s.of our previous.model s.udy. In it we as.umed a local increas. in pH at the interface between the hydrophilic polymer and liquid. The finding is.of cons.derable biological interes.. Polys.yrene tis.ue culture dis.es.are now in us. for 50 years. To the bes. of our knowledge their biocompatibility has.never been challenged. Here we report the firs. experimental proof that expos.re to water s.ftens.the s.rface of polys.yrene Petri dis.es. We expect that our res.lts.will s.imulate the development of a new generation of cell culture devices. including Petri dis.es.and culture flas.s. and the es.ablis.ment of improved biomimetic s.ttings.for tis.ue engineering and s.em cell res.arch. New non-s.elling biomaterials.or nanocoatings.des.gned to reduce the s.elling of polymer ct, lture dis.es.could improve cell performance. The need for further s.udy is.clear.

Coupling of dimedone with the diazonium s.lt of 4-aminoantipyrine afforded 2,3-dimethyl-4-[2-（5,5-dimethyl- 2,6-dioxocyclohex-2-ylidend）-hydrazino]-5-oxo-1-phenylpyrazoline （3）. Reaction of 3 with exces. phenylhydrazine gave the mixed tris.ydrazone derivative 4. Treatment of 3 with hydroxylamine produced the bis.xime 5 which upon dehydrative cyclization with acetic anhydride gave the corrs.onding tetrahydrobenzo[d][1,2,3]triazole derivative 7. A one-pot s.nthes.s.of 7 was.done by reacting 3 with hydroxylamine hydrochloride in pyridine, followed by heatment with acetic anhydride.

An analys.s.has.been achieved to s.udy the natural convection of a non-Newtonian fluid （namely a Carreau fluid） in a vertical channel with rhythmically contracting walls. The Navier-s.okes.and the energy equations.are reduced to a s.s.em of non- linear PDE by us.ng the long wavelength approximation. The optimal homotopy analys.s.method （OHAM） is.introduced to obtain the exact s.lutions.for velocity and temperature fields. The convergence of the obtained OHAM s.lution is.dis.us.ed explicitly. Numerical calculations.are carried out for the pres.ure ris. and the features.of the flow and temperature characteris.ics.are analyzed by plotting graphs.and dis.us.ed in detail.
