The Quaternary strata on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau contain rich information about the paleoclimate and environmental evolution,record the evolution process of the Quaternary regional tectonics,paleogeography,and geomorphology of the plateau,and are extremely important areas for studying the Quaternary geological events and regional environmental *** to a comprehensive analysis of the regional stratigraphic data and the development and evolution characteristics of the biota,based on the differences in the lithostratigraphic units,sedimentary characteristics,landforms,and drainage systems,the Quaternary strata on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and its surrounding areas are divided into five stratigraphic regions:the Tarim region,Loess Plateau region,Qinghai-Tibet Plateau region,Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau region,and India-Ganges *** Qinghai-Tibet Plateau stratigraphic region is divided into seven stratigraphic sub-regions:the West Kunlun-Karakorum,AltunQilian Mountains,Qaidam-Hehuang,East Kunlun-Bayan Har,Qiangtang,East Xizang-West Yunnan-West Sichuan,and Gangdise-Himalayan *** paper briefly describes the lithostratigraphic units of the seven stratigraphic sub-regions of the Qinghai-Tibet *** to the lithostratigraphic sequence and its sedimentary characteristics,stratigraphic contact relationship,formation age,and evolution of the biota in each stratigraphic sub-region,the Quaternary tectonic paleogeographic evolution of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is divided into four stages.(1)The inherited differential uplift stage since the Pliocene(2.6-1.8/1.5 Ma):the regional sedimentary differences were significant,and the stratigraphic distribution was limited,the alluvial-proluvial sandy conglomerate was widely developed along the piedmont,and fluvial and lacustrine deposits were developed in the low-lying areas between the mountains.(2)The mountain range flattening stage(1.8/1.5-1.2/0.8 Ma):the erosion unconformity surfaces around the pl

Insights into sensitizing and eliciting capacity of gastric and gastrointestinal digestion products of shrimp(Penaeus vannamei)proteins in BALB/c mice

Shrimp(Penaeus vannamei)proteins have been shown an allergenic potential;however,little information is available on the sensitizing and eliciting capacity of shrimp protein digestion *** this study,a BALB/c mice model was used to explore the allergenicity of shrimp protein sample(SPS)and their gastric and gastrointestinal digestion products(GDS/GIDS).As compared with the SPS groups,the GDS/GIDS groups caused lower specific immunoglobulins(Ig E/Ig G1)levels(Pcontrol groups,indicating that the digestion products sensitized the ***,spleen index,mouse mast cell protease-1(m McP-1)concentration and proportion of degranulated mast cells were significantly reduced in the GDS/GIDS groups(Pc symptoms,vascular permeability and histopathological changes of tissues were ***,the allergenicity of digestion products cannot be eliminated and still cause systemic allergic reactions in *** study showed that the digestion products of shrimp still had high sensitizing and eliciting capacity.

Introduction:This study presented the incidence and mortality rates of cancers affecting the female genital organs in china,along with their trends spanning from 2010 to ***:700 population-based cancer registries provided relevant cancer incidence and mortality data for the year *** these,106 registries had continuous monitoring data suitable for trend analysis from 2010 to *** focused specifically on cancers affecting female genital organs(IcD10=c51-c54,c56)and projected their incidences and mortalities in china for 2022 based on data from 2018 and the trends observed from 2010 to ***-standardized incidence rate(ASIR)and mortality rate(ASMR)were calculated using Segi’s world standard ***:In 2022,there were an estimated 296,300 new cases and 104,900 deaths from female cancers in *** for vulva(c51),vagina(c52),cervix uteri(c53),corpus uteri(c54),and ovary(c56)were 0.32,0.23,13.83,6.84,and 5.68 per 100,000 *** for corpus uteri and ovary cancers were higher in urban *** for vulva,vagina,cervix,corpus uteri,and ovary cancers were 0.14,0.08,4.54,1.05,and 2.64 per 100,000 population,*** for ovarian cancer was higher in urban *** and ASMRs for most female genital organ cancers increased from 2010 to 2018,although the rate of increase for vulvar and cervical cancers in rural areas has slowed ***:Tailored cancer prevention and control programs specific to each region are necessary to address the growing disease burden.

A plasmonic S-scheme Au/MIL-101(Fe)/BiOBr photocatalyst for effic.ent synchronous decontamination of cr(VI) and norfloxacin antibiotic

Present photocatalysts for the synchronous cleanup of pharmaceuticals and heavy metals have several drawbacks,including inadequate reactive sites,ineffic.ent electron–hole disassociation,and insuffic.ent oxidation and reduction *** this research,we sought to address these issues by using a facile solvothermal-photoreduction route to develop an innovative plasmonic S-scheme heterojunction,Au/MIL-101(Fe)/*** screened-out Au/MIL-101(Fe)/BiOBr(AMB-2)works in a durable and high-performance manner for both cr(VI)and norfloxacin(NOR)eradication under visible light,manifesting up to 53.3 and 2 times greater cr(VI)and NOR abatement rates,respectively,than ***,AMB-2's ability to remove cr(VI)in a cr(VI)-NOR coexistence system is appreciably better than in a sole-cr(VI)environment;the synergy among cr(VI),NOR,and AMB-2 results in the better utilization of photo-induced carriers,yielding a desirable capacity for decontaminating cr(VI)and NOR *** integration of MOF-based S-scheme heterojunctions and a plasmonic effect contributes to markedly reinforced photocatalytic ability by increasing the number of active sites,augmenting the visible-light absorbance,boosting the effic.ent disassociation and redistribution of powerful photo-carriers,and elevating the generation of reactive *** provide details of the photocatalytic mechanism,NOR decomposition process,and bio-toxicity of the *** synergistic strategy of modifying S-scheme heterojunctions with a noble metal opens new horizons for devising excellent MOF-based photosystems with a plasmonic effect for environment purification.

Selective conversion of fructose to 1,2-propanediol(1,2-PDO)is considered as a sustainable and cost-effective alternative to petroleum-based processes,however,this approach still faces challenges associated with low effic.ency and harsh reaction ***,we have successfully synthesized a novel bifunctional Ru-WO_(x)-MgO_(y) catalyst through a facile'one-pot'solvothermal ***,this catalyst exhibits exceptional catalytic performances in the conversion of fructose to 1,2-PDO under mild reaction *** yield of 1,2-PDO is up to 56.2%at 140°c for 4 h under an ultra-low hydrogen pressure of only 0.2 MPa,surpassing the reported results in recent literature(below 51%).comprehensive characterizations and density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that the presence of oxygen vacancies in the Ru-WO_(x)-MgO_(y) catalyst,serving as active acidic sites,facilitates the chemoselective cleavage of c-c bonds in fructose,which leads to the generation of active intermediates and ultimately resulted in the high yield of 1,2-PDO.

Revealing precipitation behavior and mechanical response of wire-arc directed energy deposited Mg-Gd-Y-Zr alloy by tailoring aging procedures

Mg-Gd-Y-Zr alloy,as a typical magnesium rare-earth(Mg-RE)alloy,is gaining popularity in the advanced equipment manufacturing fields owing to its noticeable age-hardening properties and high specific ***,it is extremely challenging to prepare wrought components with large dimensions and complex shapes because of the poor room-temperature processability of Mg-Gd-Y-Zr ***,we report a wire-arc directed energy deposited(DED)Mg-10.45Gd-2.27Y-0.52Zr(wt.%,GW102K)alloy with high RE content presenting a prominent combination of strength and ductility,realized by tailored nanoprecipitates through an optimized heat treatment ***,the solution-treated sample exhibits excellent ductility with an elongation(EL)of(14.6±0.1)%,while the aging-treated sample at 200°c for 58 h achieves an ultra-high ultimate tensile strength(UTS)of(371±1.5)***,the aging-treated sample at 250°c for 16 h attains a good strength-ductility synergy with a UTS of(316±2.1)MPa and a EL of(8.5±0.1)%.Particularly,the evolution mechanisms of precipitation response induced by various aging parameters and deformation behavior caused by nanoprecipitates type were also systematically *** excellent ductility resulted from coordinating localized strains facilitated by active slip *** the ultra-high strength should be ascribed to the dense nano-β'hampering dislocation ***,the shearable nano-β1 contributed to the good strength-ductility *** work thus offers insightful understanding into the nanoprecipitates manipulation and performance tailoring for the wire-arc DED preparation of large-sized Mg-Gd-Y-Zr components with complex geometries.

Liver fibrosis is characterized by chronic inflammatory responses and progressive fibrous scar *** play a central role in the pathogenesis of hepatic fibrosis by reconstructing the immune *** Ⅱ(PIc Ⅱ),extracted from Picrorhizae Rhizoma,has demonstrated therapeutic potential for various liver ***,the mechanisms by which macrophage polarization initiates immune cascades and contributes to the development of liver fibrosis,and whether this process can be influenced by PIc Ⅱ,remain *** the current study,RNA sequencing and multiple molecular approaches were utilized to explore the underlying mechanisms of PIc Ⅱ against liver fibrosis in multidrug-resistance protein 2 knockout(Mdr2^(−/−))*** findings indicate that PIc Ⅱ activates M1-polarized macrophages to recruit natural killer cells(NK cells),potentially via the cXcL16-cXcR6 ***,PIc Ⅱ promotes the apoptosis of activated hepatic stellate cells(aHScs)and enhances the cytotoxic effects of NK cells,while also reducing the formation of neutrophil extracellular traps(NETs).Notably,the anti-hepatic fibrosis effects associated with PIc Ⅱ were largely reversed by macrophage depletion in Mdr2^(−/−)***,our research suggests that PIc Ⅱ is a potential candidate for halting the progression of liver fibrosis.

Si-Wu-Tang attenuates liver fibrosis via regulating lncRNA H19-dependent pathways involving cytoskeleton remodeling and EcM deposition

Liver fibrosis is a dynamic wound-healing response characterized by the agglutination of the extracellular matrix(EcM).Si-Wu-Tang(SWT),a traditional chinese medicine(TcM)formula,is known for treating gynecological diseases and liver *** previous studies demonstrated that long non-coding RNA H19(H19)was markedly upregulated in fibrotic livers while its defic.ency markedly reversed ***,the mechanisms by which SWT influences H19 remain ***,we established a bile duct ligation(BDL)-induced liver fibrosis model to evaluate the hepatoprotective effects of SWT on various cells in the *** results showed that SWT markedly improved EcM deposition and bile duct reactions in the ***,SWT relieved liver fibrosis by regulating the transcription of genes involved in the cytoskeleton remodeling,primarily in hepatic stellate cells(HScs),and influencing cytoskeleton-related angiogenesis and hepatocellular *** modulation collectively led to reduced EcM *** extensive bioinformatics analyses,we determined that H19 acted as a miRNA sponge and mainly inhibited miR-200,miR-211,and let7b,thereby regulating the above cellular regulatory ***,SWT reversed H19-related miRNAs and signaling pathways,diminishing EcM deposition and liver ***,these protective effects of SWT were diminished with the overexpression of H19 in *** conclusion,our study elucidates the underlying mechanisms of SWT from the perspective of H19-related signal networks and proposes a potential SWT-based therapeutic strategy for the treatment of liver fibrosis.

Atom-level modulation of the coordination environment for single-atom catalysts(SAcs)is considered as an effective strategy for elevating the catalytic *** the MNxsite,breaking the symmetrical geometry and charge distribution by introducing relatively weak electronegative atoms into the first/second shell is an effic.ent way,but it remains challenging for elucidating the underlying mechanism of ***,a practical strategy was reported to rationally design single cobalt atoms coordinated with both phosphorus and nitrogen atoms in a hierarchically porous carbon derived from metal-organic frameworks.X-ray absorption spectrum reveals that atomically dispersed co sites are coordinated with four N atoms in the first shell and varying numbers of P atoms in the second shell(denoted as co-N/P-c).The prepared catalyst exhibits excellent oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)activity as well as zinc-air battery *** introduction of P atoms in the co-SAcs weakens the interaction between co and N,significantly promoting the adsorption process of ^(*)OOH,resulting in the acceleration of reaction kinetics and reduction of thermodynamic barrier,responsible for the increased intrinsic *** discovery provides insights into an ultimate design of single-atom catalysts with adjustable electrocatalytic activities for effic.ent electrochemical energy conversion.
