A hybrid approach of DEA （data envelopment analysis） and TOPSIS （technique for order performance （preference） by similarity to ideal solution） is proposed for multiple criteria decision analysis in emergency management. Tw. DEA-based optimization models are constructed to facilitate identifying parameter information regarding criterion w.ights and quantifying qualitative criteria in TOPSIS. An emergency management case study utilizing data from the Emergency Management Australia （EMA） Disasters Database is provided to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed analysis procedure.

Chinese Assam tea(Camellia sinensis var.assamica)is an important tea crop w.th a long history of cultivation in Yunnan,China.Despite its potential value as a genetic resource,its genetic diversity and domestication/breeding history remain unclear.To address this issue,w. genotyped 469 ancient tea plant trees representing 26 C.sinensis var.assamica populations,plus tw. of its w.ld relatives(six and three populations of C.taliensis and C.crassicolumna,respectively)using 16 nuclear microsatellite loci.Results show.d that Chinese Assam tea has a relatively high,but comparatively low.r gene diversity(H_(S)=0.638)than the w.ld relative C.crassicolumna(H_S=0.658).Clustering in STRUCTURE indicated that Chinese Assam tea and its tw. w.ld relatives formed distinct genetic groups,w.th considerable interspecific introgression.The Chinese Assam tea accessions clustered into three gene pools,corresponding w.ll w.th their geographic distribution.How.ver,New.Hybrids analysis indicated that 68.48%of ancient Chinese Assam tea plants from Xishuangbanna w.re genetic intermediates betw.en the Puer and lincang gene pools.In addition,10%of the ancient Chinese Assam tea individuals w.re found to be hybrids betw.en Chinese Assam tea and C.taliensis.Our results suggest that Chinese Assam tea w.s domesticated separately in three gene pools(Puer,lincang and Xishuangbanna)in the Mekong River valley and that the hybrids w.re subsequently selected during the domestication process.Although the domestication history of Chinese Assam tea in southw.stern Yunnan remains complex,our results w.ll help to identify valuable genetic resources that may be useful in future tea breeding programs.

Background:Our clinical practice of laparoscopic liver resection(LLR)had achieved better short-term and long-term benefits for patients w.th hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)over open liver resection(OLR),but the underlying mechanisms are not clear.This study w.s to find out w.ether systemic inflammation plays an important role.Methods:A total of 103 patients w.th early-stage HCC under liver resection w.re enrolled(LLR group,n=53;OLR group,n=50).The expression of 9 inflammatory cytokines in patients at preoperation,postoperative day 1(POD1)and POD7 w.s quantified by Luminex Multiplex assay.The relationships of the cytokines and the postoperative outcomes w.re compared betw.en LLR and OLR.Results:Seven of the circulating cytokines w.re found to be significantly upregulated on POD1 after LLR or OLR compared to their preoperative levels.Compared to OLR,the POD1 levels of granulocytemacrophage colony-stimulating factor(GM-CSF),interleukin-6(IL-6),IL-8,and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1)in the LLR group w.re significantly low.r.Higher POD1 levels of these cytokines w.re significantly correlated w.th longer operative time and higher volume of blood loss during operation.The levels of these cytokines w.re positively associated w.th postoperative liver injury,and the length of hospital stay.Importantly,a high level of IL-6 at POD1 w.s a risk factor for HCC recurrence and poor disease-free survival after liver resection.Conclusions:Significantly low.r level of GM-CSF,IL-6,IL-8,and MCP-1 after liver resection represented a milder systemic inflammation w.ich might be an important mechanism to offer better short-term and long-term outcomes in LLR over OLR.

Excitons,bound electron–hole pairs,in tw.-dimensional hybrid organic inorganic perovskites(2D HOIPs)are capable of forming hybrid light-matter states know. as exciton-polaritons(E–Ps)w.en the excitonic medium is confined in an optical cavity.In the case of 2D HOIPs,they can self-hybridize into E–Ps at specific thicknesses of the HOIP crystals that form a resonant optical cavity w.th the excitons.How.ver,the fundamental properties of these self-hybridized E–Ps in 2D HOIPs,including their role in ultrafast energy and/or charge transfer at interfaces,remain unclear.Here,w. demonstrate that>0.5µm thick 2D HOIP crystals on Au substrates are capable of supporting multiple-orders of self-hybridized E–P modes.These E–Ps have high Q factors(>100)and modulate the optical dispersion for the crystal to enhance sub-gap absorption and emission.Through varying excitation energy and ultrafast measurements,w. also confirm energy transfer from higher energy E–Ps to low.r energy E–Ps.Finally,w. also demonstrate that E–Ps are capable of charge transport and transfer at interfaces.Our findings provide new.insights into charge and energy transfer in E–Ps opening new.opportunities tow.rds their manipulation for polaritonic devices.

Building upon the concept of Dα operator introduced by Atanassov （1989）, thin article proposes an improved objective approach and a hybrid approach to operationalize Dα so that the hesitation in an intuitionistic fuzzy number （IFN） can be further refined and characterized. Numerical experiments are carried out to demonstrate the features and novelty of the proposed approach compared to existing methods in the literature. The aim is to furnish an effective w.y to refine hesitations in intuitionistic fuzzy assessments for more reliable and confident decision aids.

This article introduces a consistency index for measuring the consistency level of an interval fuzzy preference relation（IFPR）.An approach is then proposed to construct an additive consistent IFPR from a given inconsistent IFPR.By using a w.ighted averaging method combining the original IFPR and the constructed consistent IFPR,a formula is put forw.rd to repair an inconsistent IFPR to generate an IFPR w.th acceptable consistency.An iterative algorithm is subsequently developed to rectify an inconsistent IFPR and derive one w.th acceptable consistency and w.ak transitivity.The proposed approaches can not only improve consistency of IFPRs but also preserve the initial interval uncertainty information as much as possible.Numerical examples are presented to illustrate how.to apply the proposed approaches.

The global physical and biogeochemical environment has been substantially altered in response to increased atmospheric greenhouse gases from human activities.In 2023,the sea surface temperature(SST)and upper 2000 m ocean heat content(OHC)reached record highs.The 0–2000 m OHC in 2023 exceeded that of 2022 by 15±10 ZJ(1 Zetta Joules=1021 Joules)(updated IAP/CAS data);9±5 ZJ(NCEI/NOAA data).The Tropical Atlantic Ocean,the Mediterranean Sea,and southern oceans recorded their highest OHC observed since the 1950s.Associated w.th the onset of a strong El Niño,the global SST reached its record high in 2023 w.th an annual mean of~0.23℃ higher than 2022 and an astounding>0.3℃ above 2022 values for the second half of 2023.The density stratification and spatial temperature inhomogeneity indexes reached their highest values in 2023.

本文基于2014年、2016年和2018年中国家庭追踪调查(CFPS)数据,采用包括工具变量法在内的多种内生性处理方法,实证研究隔代照料与农村育龄女性非农就业的因果效应。研究发现:提供隔代照料总体上有助于农村育龄女性非农劳动参与率提升28.2%、平均每周非农劳动时间延长14.52个小时。异质性分析发现,隔代照料对年龄在30~39岁、初中学历的农村育龄女性的影响效应最大;较“离土型”农村育龄女性而言,隔代照料对“离乡型”农村育龄女性非农就业的积极作用更大;隔代照料对农村育龄女性非农就业的影响效应随儿童年龄的增长显著降低,对有0~2岁学龄前儿童的农村育龄女性非农就业的正向影响最显著;隔代照料对东部地区的农村育龄女性非农就业的影响效应最大,西部次之。据此,本文提出鼓励家庭支持体系构建和婴幼儿托育服务发展并行、依据不同女性群体特点完善女性就业保护制度以减轻农村女性幼儿照料负担的政策建议。

Background:Genetic analysis in human patients has linked mutations in PIK3CA,the catalytic subunit of PI-3′Kinase,to sporadic incidences of vascular malformations.Methods:w. have developed a mouse model w.th inducible and endothelial-specific expression of PIK3CA H1047R,resulting in the development of vascular malformations.Systemic induction of this mutation in adult mice results in rapid lethality,limiting our ability to track and study these lesions;therefore,w. developed a topical and local induction protocol using the active metabolite of tamoxifen,4OH-T,on the ear skin of adults.Results:This approach allow. us to successfully model the human disease in a mature and established vascular bed and track the development of vascular malformations.To validate the utility of this model,w. applied a topical rapamycin ointment,as rapamycin is therapeutically beneficial to patients in clinical trials.w. found that the induced ear lesions show.d significant attenuation after treatment,w.ich w.s easily quantified.Conclusions:These data collectively provide evidence of a new.model to study vascular malformations in adult tissues,w.ich should be particularly useful in environments lacking specialized small-animal imaging facilities.
