Lane departure warning systems and lane line detection methods based on image processing and semantic segmentation:A review

Recently,the development and application of lane line departure warning systems have been in the *** any of the systems,the key part of lane line tracking,lane line identification,or lane line departure warning is whether it can accurately and quickly detect lane *** 1990 s,they have been studied and implemented for the situations defined by the good viewing conditions and the clear lane markings on *** then,the accuracy for particular situations,the robustness for a wide range of scenarios,time efficiency and integration into higher-order tasks define visual lane line detection and tracking as a continuing research *** present,these kinds of lane marking line detection methods based on machine vision and image processing can be divided into two categories:the traditional image processing and semantic segmentation(includes deep learning)*** former mainly involves feature-based and model-based steps,and which can be classified into similarity-and discontinuity-based ones;and the model-based step includes different parametric straight line,curve or pattern *** semantic segmentation includes different machine learning,neural network and deep learning methods,which is the new trend for the research and application of lane line departure warning *** paper describes and analyzes the lane line departure warning systems,image processing algorithms and semantic segmentation methods for lane line detection.

A dataset entitled“A potential risk index dataset for landfalling tropical cyclones over the Chinese mainland”(PRITC dataset V1.0)is described in this paper,as are some basic statistical *** the severity of the impacts of tropical cyclones(TCs)that make landfall on the Chinese mainland based on observations from 1401 meteorological stations was proposed in a previous study,including an index combining TC-induced precipitation and wind(IPWT)and further information,such as the corresponding category level(CAT_IPWT),an index of TC-induced wind(IWT),and an index of TC-induced precipitation(IPT).The current version of the dataset includes TCs that made landfall from 1949-2018;the dataset will be extended each ***-term trend analyses demonstrate that the severity of the TC impacts on the Chinese mainland have increased,as embodied by the annual mean IPWT values,and increases in TC-induced precipitation are the main contributor to this *** Winnie(1997)and TC Bilis(2006)were the two TCs with the highest IPWT and IPT values,*** PRITC V1.0 dataset was developed based on the China Meteorological Administration’s tropical cyclone database and can serve as a bridge between TC hazards and their social and economic impacts.

A new genus of Asiatic short-tailed shrew (Soricidae, Eulipotyphla) based on molecular and morphological comparisons

Blarinellini is a tribe of soricine shrews comprised of nine fossil genera and one extant genus. Blarinelline shrews were once widely distributed throughout Eurasia and North America, though only members of the Asiatic short-tailed shrew genus Blarinella currently persist （mostly in southwestern China and adjacent areas）. Only three forms of Blarinella have been recognized as either species or subspecies However, recent molecular studies indicated a strikingly deep divergence within the genus, implying the existence of a distinct genus-level lineage. We sequenced the complete mitochondrial genomes and one nuclear gene of three Asiatic short-tailed and two North American shrews and analyzed them morphometrically and morphologically. Our molecular analyses revealed that specimens ascribed to B. griselda formed two deeply diverged lineages, one a close relative to B. quadraticauda, whereas the other--comprised of topotype specimens from southern gansu-iverged from other Blarinella in the middle Miocene （ca. 18.2 million years ago （Ma）, 95% confidence interval=13.4-23.6 Ma）. Although the skulls were similarly shaped in both lineages, we observed several diagnostic characteristics, including the shape of the upper p4. In consideration of the molecular and morphological evidence, we recognize B. griselda as the sole species of a new genus, namely, Pantherina gen. nov. Interestingly, some characteristics of Pantherina griselda are more similar to fossil genera, suggesting it represents an evolutionarily more primitive form than *** of this new genus sheds light on the systematics and evolutionary history of the tribe Blarinellini throughout Eurasia and North America.

Rural E-commerce and County Economic Development in China

With the proliferation of information and communication technology in rural areas,rural e-commerce has gradually become a new economic phenomenon in China. Usingthe national rural e-commerce comprehensive demonstration policy as a quasi-naturalexperiment, this study examines the causal linkage between rural e-commerce andcounty-level economic development in China. Its findings, which draw on county-levelpanel data from 2011 to 2018, indicate that the policy had a positive effect on the countyleveleconomy in China, resulting in an overall increase in county gDP by 3.5 percent(0.7 percent annually). Our analysis further shows that the impact of the policy diferedalong the region and human capital dimensions. Further analysis reveals that industrialstructure and nonagricultural employment were the main channels for the policy toexert a county-level economic impact. Infrastructure improvement in China also playsan important role. The findings emphasize the importance of advancing e-commerce inrural areas to stimulate county-level economic development.

The synthesis and application of zeolitic material from fly ash by one-pot method at low temperature

A new route to prepare zeolitic material was introduced in this work. Compared with traditional methods, the new route showed lower energy consume. The effect of pre-treatment conditions on structure and crystalline phase was investigated, revealing that the mullite crystalline phase in fly ash could be converted to amorphous phase by alkali at low temperature. The removal performance of heavy metal ions on designed material was also investigated, and we found that the intermediate product showed higher adsorption capacity on Ni^(2+) than zeolite A.

We describe nNPipe for the automated analysis of morphologically diverse catalyst materials. Automated imaging routines anddirect-electron detectors have enabled the collection of large data stacks over a wide range of sample positions at high temporalresolution. Simultaneously, traditional image analysis approaches are slow and hence unsuitable for large data stacks andconsequently, researchers have progressively turned towards machine learning and deep learning approaches. Previous studiesoften detail work on morphologically uniform material systems with clearly discernible features, limited workable image sizes andtraining data that may be biased due to manual labelling. The nNPipe data-processing method consists of two standaloneconvolutional neural networks that were exclusively trained on multislice image simulations and enables fast analysis of2048 × 2048 pixel images. Inference performance compared between idealised and real industrial catalytic samples and insightsderived from subsequent data analysis are placed into the context of an automated imaging scenario.

Novel technique for a symptomatic subscapularis herniation through a scapu-lar defect

Fractures of the scapula are rare and have been reported to account for only 1% of all fractures and 3%-5% of upper extremity fractures. Several studies have reported successful outcomes with non-operative treatment of scapula fractures. Although non-operative treatments are successful in a very high percentage of patients, very few cases of non-union of scapular body fractures have been reported. In our review of the literature, we found two case reports of scapular body fractures developed into non-unions. In both of these cases, open reduction and internal fixation with reconstruction plates and bone graft was successful at eliminating pain and restoring function. This is a case report of a patient with a symptomatic, extra-articular scapular body defect from a non-union that was treated successfully with an acellular dermal extracellular matrix and bone graft using a novel

gallium nitride(gaN)-based power conversion systems exhibit striking competitiveness in realizing compact and high-efficiency power management *** emerging gaN-based p-channel field-effect transistors(FETs)and monolithic integration techniques enable the implementation of gaN-based complementary logic(CL)circuits and thereby offer an additional pathway to improving the system-level energy efficiency and *** this article,holistic analyses are conducted to evaluate the potential benefits of introducing gaN CL circuits into the integrated power systems,based on the material limit of gaN and state-of-the-art experimental *** is revealed that the propagation delay of a single-stage CL gate based on the commercial p-gaN gate power HEMT(high-electron-mobility transistor)platform could be as short as sub-nanosecond,which sufficiently satis-fies the requirement of power conversion systems typically with operating frequencies less than 10 *** the currently adopted n-FET-based logic gates(e.g.,directly coupled FET logic)replaced by CL gates,the power consumption of peripheral logic circuits could be substantially suppressed by more than 10^(3) times,mainly due to the elimination of the pronounced static power ***,the energy efficiency of the entire system could be substantially improved.
