Twenty nineteen(2019)marked another year of lethargic growth in the Chinese economy amidst escalated internal and external ***,the country's macroeconomic landscape was overcast continuously by fallen consumption growth,plunged growth in manufacturing investment,rapid accumulation of household debt,risen income inequality,and the overhang of local government *** nation's external conditions did not fare any better,with drastically declined growth in imports and exports,continued trade tensions with the US,and weakened external *** on the IAR-CMM model,which takes account of both cyclical and secular factors,the baseline real GdP growth rate is projected to be 6.0%in 2020(5.9%using more reliable rather than the official data),with a downside *** scenario analyses and policy simulations are conducted,in addition to the benchmark forecast,to reflect the influences of various internal and external *** findings emanated from these analyses lead us to stress the importance and urgency of deepening reform to achieve competitive neutrality for China’s transformation into a phase with sustainable and high-quality development.

Entering year 2020,the Chinese economy was struck by the COVId-19 *** unprecedented pandemic,entangled with the already elevated complexities in the nation's internal environment and external surroundings,aggravated its economic *** factors including severe education mismatch in China's labor force,its vanishing demographic dividend,the declined purchasing power of its middle-income groups,risen leverage ratio of households and enterprises,and soared local government debt reinforced to weaken China's domestic *** factors,especially uncertainty in the China-US relation in the face of the re-shaping global value chain,dragged world economic recovery and thus China's exports and *** summary report highlights some major challenges and opportunities faced by the nation under its new development strategy that stresses internal circulation of domestic economy aided by its interaction with the *** analyses based on IAR-CMM model provide a unified framework for addressing China's short-,medium-,and long-term issues in an internally coherent *** into year 2021,our benchmark projection reports an 8.4%annual real GdP growth *** scenario analyses and policy simulations are conducted to assess the impacts of potential downside risks and the corresponding policy options for ensuring implicit *** the lens of these analyses,we conclude that a refocus on effective management of internal demand,while deepening structural reforms on supply side and advancing orderly opening up,can help smooth the internal and external circulations of the Chinese economy to achieve high-quality development.

Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) are critical for the advancement of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), enabling real-time vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communications. However, ensuring Quality of Service (QoS) in VANETs is challenging due to high mobility, dynamic topologies, and interference. This study evaluates the performance of Medium Access Control (MAC) protocols implemented on a Software-defined Radio (SdR) platform to address these challenges. The research highlights the use of QoS-prescribed scheduling algorithms and multi-user detection techniques to optimize key performance metrics such as packet delivery ratio (PdR), throughput, and scalability. Simulation results demonstrate significant improvements under varying mobility and channel conditions, achieving stable communication and high user capacity in both fixed and high-mobility scenarios. The findings underscore the potential of SdR-based VANET solutions for enhancing reliability, scalability, and efficiency in dynamic vehicular environments. Future directions include incorporating iterative methods and real-world testing to further refine QoS delivery in VANETs.

Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) play a pivotal role in the advancement of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), facilitating real-time communication among vehicles (V2V) and between vehicles and infrastructure (V2I). However, maintaining reliable Quality of Service (QoS) in these dynamic environments remains challenging due to high mobility, frequent topology changes and interference. This paper proposes a robust cross-layer framework that integrates channel prediction and dynamic rate adaptation to address these challenges. The framework employs advanced multi-user detection techniques, including matched filters, successive interference cancellation (SIC), decorrelators and MMSE receivers, combined with adaptive multi-factor spreading, multi-code and multi-modulation transmission strategies. The study evaluates the framework’s performance through extensive simulations using a Software-defined Radio (SdR) platform. Key findings demonstrate significant improvements in packet reception rate, throughput and spectral efficiency under various mobility and channel conditions. The proposed approach effectively mitigates interference and adapts to dynamic network environments, showcasing its potential to enhance reliability, scalability and efficiency in VANETs. Future work will explore real-world implementation and iterative algorithmic enhancements to further optimize QoS delivery in highly variable vehicular communication scenarios.

This work addresses the critical challenge of ensuring reliable communication in vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) and drone networks (FANETs) under dynamic and high-mobility conditions. Current methods often fail to adequately predict rapid channel variations, leading to increased packet loss and degraded Quality of Service (QoS). To bridge this gap, we propose a novel cross-layer framework that integrates physical channel prediction into the Medium Access Control (MAC) layer to optimize network performance. Our framework employs an ARIMA (1, 0, 1) model for real-time channel prediction and dynamically adjusts MAC layer parameters to enhance throughput and reliability. Simulations demonstrate a 25% improvement in useful throughput and a 30% reduction in packet loss rates compared to baseline methods. These improvements enable practical applications in intelligent transportation systems and the efficient management of autonomous drones. Key contributions include: 1) development of a cross-layer framework that integrates channel prediction and MAC optimization. 2) demonstration of the framework’s effectiveness through Monte Carlo simulations in high-mobility scenarios. 3) Quantitative validation of enhanced throughput and reliability, highlighting the system’s potential for real-world deployment.

Changes in the coastline are characterized by accretion and erosion. The aim of this study is to contribute to a better understanding of the dynamics of the coastline and the study areas with a view to mitigating and preventing the risk of coastal erosion in order to propose a coastal occupation model with planned development policies in the future. These phenomena lead to changes in the position of the coastline. After extraction, the satellite images are compiled, then superimposed and processed using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for statistical calculation of coastline change rates. A morphosedimentary study is carried out using topography and sedimentology. The topographic method is used to calculate sediment volumes using monthly profiles. The sedimentological method is used to determine the granulometric variations in the morphological units by calculating sedimentological indices. With erosion rates of −2.13 m/yr and −2.17 m/yr respectively at djiffère (Palmarin and Sangomar breccia) and Joal (Joal Fadhiouth and Ngazobil), the EPR index revealed a sediment deficit. Palmarin Ngallou and the island of Fadhiouth are undergoing accretion at rates of +1.43 m/yr and +1.14 m/yr respectively. From a topographical point of view, the respective accumulations of −13.74 m3/m of beach and −8.65 m3/m of beach at djiffère and Joal respectively point to significant erosion on all the aerial beach units, while for the underwater beaches, accretion was noted with accumulations of +4.00 m3/m of beach and +5.94 m3/m at djiffère and Joal respectively. As for the sedimentological results, the Mz index shows a decrease in grain size from the high beach to the surf zone. Some points show bimodal deposits, showing the impact of the dune on beach activity, confirmed by the dispersion on the Mz-sigma diagram. The three methods used in this work show that the djiffère sector in Joal is dominated by erosion, even though accretion points can be noted.

Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) play a pivotal role in advancing Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), facilitating real-time communication among vehicles and infrastructure. With the advanced development of computer-based enabling technologies, many engineering, medical, biology, chemistry, physics and food science etc have developed to the unprecedented levels, which lead to many research and development interests in various multi-discipline areas. Among them, biomimetics is one of the most promising and attractive branches of study. Biomimetics is a branch of study that uses biological systems as a model to develop synthetic systems. To learn from nature, one of the fundamental issues is to understand the natural systems such animals, insects, plants and human beings etc. The geometrical characterization and representation of natural systems is an important fundamental work for biomimetics research. 3d modeling plays a key role in the geometrical characterization and representation, especially in computer graphical visualization. This paper firstly presents the typical procedure of 3d modelling methods and then reviews the previous work of 3d geometrical modelling techniques and systems developed for industrial, medical and animation applications. Especially the paper discusses the problems associated with the existing techniques and systems when they are applied to 3d modelling of biological systems. Based upon the discussions, the paper proposes some areas of research interests in 3d modelling of biological systems and for Biomimetics.

Background White matter hyperintensity(WMH)on brain MRI is associated with developing dementia or mild cognitive impairment(MCI),but WMH progression over time has not been fully investigated as an independent risk *** We performed a post hoc analysis of the Systolic Blood Pressure Intervention Trial-Memory and Cognition in decreased Hypertension(SPRINT MINd)*** primary outcome was incident probable dementia or MCI(dementia/MCI)before the follow-up MRI at 48 months from *** primary predictor was WMH progression,defined as the Z score difference between the follow-up and baseline WMH *** secondary predictor was a binary WMH progression threshold(≥1.4 mL vsded patients,33(7.6%)developed dementia/*** were 156(36.0%)patients who met the WMH progression threshold of≥1.4 mL,in whom the rate of dementia/MCI was 12.8%(20/156)vs 4.7%(13/277)of patients withd with dementia/MCI(OR 1.51,95%CI 1.12 to 2.04,p=0.007)as was the WMH progression threshold of≥1.4 mL(OR 2.89,95%CI 1.23 to 6.81,p=0.015).Conclusions In this post hoc analysis of SPRINT MINd,WMH progression over 48 months was associated with the development of probable dementia or MCI.
