目的　定位小鼠致聋基因 ,识别决定其性状的有关突变 ,为人类耳聋基因研究提供动物模型。方法　利用全基因组扫描来定位名为hml可致小鼠听力丧失突变基因。结果　①hml基因定位在小鼠 10号染色体上 ,距中心粒约4 3cM处。根据已知的鼠人同源同线性特点 ,提示人的同源基因位于 12 q2 2 -q2 4 ;②获得了 2 5个多态性微卫星标记 ,通过高分辨的小鼠图谱将 3个已知人类基因进行了正确排列 ,并将hml侯选基因限定在一个 5 0 0kb的区域内。

A lack of knowledge about genetic variation in minority populations throughout the world limits the potential uptake of genomic-based precision medicine in these often-underserved *** of pharmacogenetic results derived from more extensively studied populations to minority groups carries risk,as founder effects,genetic drift and unique selective pressures can result in the appearance of novel,functionally significant variants and the disappearance of ones common to a larger *** NIH-funded Northwest-Alaska Pharmacogenetic Research Network was formed in 2010with the goal of addressing the pharmacogenetic knowledge deficit in Alaska native(AN)and American Indian(AI)populations.A collaboration of investigators at the University of Washington,University of Montana,University of Alaska-fairbanks,Southcentral foundation and Group Health Cooperative of Washington was formed to investigate genetic variation in key pharmacogenes and the resulting effect on drug disposition and response,with a focus on anticoagulation,antiplatelet and anticancer *** regard to anticoagulation therapy,we sequenced and genotyped variation in the VKORC1,GGCX,CYP4f2,CYP4f11 and CYP2C9 genes in AN populations living in the interior and western *** no new variants in the VKORC1,GGCX,and CYP4f genes at frequencies≥1%were discovered,the reduced function-1639 variant in the VKORC1 gene associated with a lower warfarin dose requirement was found at a relatively high frequency in the western AN population(78%),similar to that seen in some Asian populations(92%),but not so high in the interior AN population(54%).The loss-of function CYP4f2*3 variant associated with a higher warfarin dose requirement was found at a frequency of 51%and 31%in the western and interior AN populations respectively,both higher than that found in most other world population(8%-29%).Interestingly,in the western AN population,the reduced function CYP4f2*3 allele was associated with both

地球得以成功地保持使生命能够在其表面生存的适度高温,是由于有各种各样的因素防止了从太阳射线获得的热量完全反射出去的缘故。但至今我们还不了解,近十年来对地球有影响的气候变化（有些变化具有严重的经济后果）是否是气候发生大变迁的信号,或者仅仅是围绕平均状态的变动。只要考察到大气中二氧化碳浓度上升这一新因素,我们就可以找到问題的答案。对CO2的研究联系着好几门学科（物理学、化学以及生物学）。这表明这一研究所使用的方法既复杂而又丰富。

我们以16天孕龄的胎鼠大脑皮层原代介离性体外培养方法为基础,观察0.6毫克分子浓度的苯丙氨酸与苯乙酸各自对发育中脑神经元的影响。结果显示:在苯丙氨酸及苯乙酸加入培养液中14—18天后,产生培养中神经细胞的破伤风毒素特殊结合量及3H—GABA特殊摄入量减少;胆碱乙酰移换酶及谷氨酸脱羧酶活力下降。推测以上改变乃由于神经元而非胶质细胞的数量有所减少,苯乙酸对于未成熟脑神经细胞的毒性似较苯丙氨酸强烈。

电子管和接收机是相控阵雷达市场上的最大而且最强烈的竞争部分。系统设计方面积累的经验使我们能很好地分析各种电子管和接收机型的相控阵的结构和成分。在确定取舍基本规则时,我们可以假定下列诸问题对于相控阵来说一般是适用的:1)采用大量的(典型的为1000到10,000)作用不同的部件(发射机,接收机,开关等)。因此,对可靠性、易维修、低成本以及能大量生产的要求就更高了。2)各种作用的元件的电气特性的误差必须保持在严格的范围内。特言之,对接收机输入器件和发射机输出器件的相位和振幅响应误差要求是极苛刻的,例如,在大量生产的产品中无规则的相位漂移仅允许有几度。3)结构是一个重要的问题,这点对发机输出器件来说特别重要,而且还要求考虑冷却和绝缘设备的问题。在某些应用中,对尺寸和重量的要求是非常苛刻的。4)发射机的典型要求是,要有相当高的峰值功率和适当的平均功率。为了保存原有的功率和避免冷却问题,效率是最重要的。5)接收机是通过低增益天线馈电的,这样就大大减小了接收机的保护问题。与一般的雷达相比,相控阵雷达对低噪声放大器的要求较低。6)通常规定了宽的工作带宽。7)相阵本身对爆炸的抗震能力强。实现这种性能就给某些电子器件提出了一些更高的要求。根据相控阵雷达(以下简称相阵)的这些特性,下面详细地讨论各种微波管和接收机的性能。

Postpartum depression, a major depressive disorder, predisposes postnatal mothers to physical, social, and psychological malfunctioning. Purpose: The study aimed to identify the psychosocial determinants of postpartum depression and maternal well-being among mothers in the Accra metropolis. Materials and Method: A sample of 205 postnatal women between the ages of 15 - 39 years and are 4 - 12 weeks old postpartum was drawn from 37 Military Hospital, Accra. Employing a sequential explanatory approach, participants were administered the Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-21), Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), Marital Adjustment Test (MAT), and the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS). findings: The study revealed that 14.1% of postnatal women in the Accra metropolis are at risk of developing PPD. A significant model emerged, [R2 = 0.488, f (7, 197) = 26.86, ρ faction among couples. On the other hand, results from Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) of participants’ in-depth information revealed inadequate social support and dissatisfaction in marriage account for mothers’ at-risk behaviour of developing PPD;which impacts on maternal well-being. Conclusion: It is concluded that PPD is patent among postnatal women and psychosocial variables contribute a significant role in their experience of mental health problems following childbirth. This, in effect, requires attention from health professionals for holistic healthcare. The implications of these outcomes are discussed concerning mental healthcare delivery, the general public, and stakeholders in the health sector.

This paper explores the perceived relationship between household poverty and forest dependence among the poorest residents neighboring Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. Using the sustainable livelihoods framework, this paper examines the influence of household poverty on forest dependence. The findings reveal that food and health security risks are primary drivers of forest dependence. Education security risks however, were found to have an indirect influence. Both food and health security risks were found to have equal influence on forest dependence. The economic security risks traditionally believed to significantly influence forest dependence were not found to have a direct influence.

BackgroundIn onchocerciasis-endemic areas with high ongoing Onchocerca volvulus transmission,a high prevalence of epilepsy has been *** study aimed to determine the prevalence and clinical characteristics of epilepsy in the Bono Region of Ghana following 27 years of implementation of ivermectin mass drug administration(MDA).MethodsBetween October 2020 and August 2021,cross-sectional surveys were conducted in nine communities in the Tain District and Wenchi Municipality of the Bono Region of *** the first stage,a random door-to-door approach was used to screen the population for epilepsy using a pre-tested *** suspected of having epilepsy were invited for a second-stage neurological examination for case *** *** microfilarial infection status and Ov16 seropositivity were also ***-five confidence intervals(95%CI)for prevalence values were calculated using the Wilson Score *** the 971 participants,500(51.5%)were females,and the median age(interquartile range)was 26(15‒43)*** participants(1.4%,95%CI:1.0‒2.0)were diagnosed as having epilepsy with generalized seizures being the most frequent seizure type(85.7%,12/14).The overall microfilarial prevalence of *** was 10.3%(November 2020)and 9.9%(August 2021);the Ov16 seroprevalence was 22.2%(June 2021).Only 63.2%took ivermectin in the last round of MDA distribution in March *** 1.4%prevalence of epilepsy in the Bono region is similar to the median epilepsy prevalence in sub-Saharan ***,the persistent microfilarial prevalence and low ivermectin study coverage call for the Ghana Onchocerciasis Elimination Programme to step up its efforts to ensure that the gains achieved are consolidated and improved to achieve the elimination of onchocerciasis by 2030.

We present a scalable, reproducible and economic process for the fabrication of diamond and diamond-graphene hybrid films using paraffin wax as a seeding source for diamond. The films were characterized using Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS). Raman spectra show the characteristic band of diamond at 1332 cm-1 and the D, G, and 2D bands of graphene at 1360, 1582 and 2709 cm-1, respectively. Electron microscopy confirms the microcrystalline nature of the diamond films with crystal size in the range of 0.5 μm to 1.0 μm, and the hybrid film consists of microcrystalline diamond attached to thin, semi-transparent graphene flakes. The graphene-diamond hybrid films exhibit a turn-on field of about 3.6 V/μm with a prolonged current stability of at least 135 h.
