Among various gas sensing materials, metal oxide semiconductors have shown great potential as resistive type sensors. The ordered porous structural metal oxide semiconductors with well-defined meso- or macro-pores chemically synthesized via soft-templating method and nanocasting strategy have high porosity, highly interconnected pore channels and high surface area with enormous active sites for interacting with gaseous molecules. These features enable them good performance in gas sensing, including high sensitivity, fast response and recovery, good selectivity. This review gives a comprehensive summary about the porous metal oxides with focus on the synthesis methods, structure related properties, as well as the modification strategies for gas sensing improved performances.

Single-atom catalysts have high catalytic activity due to their unique quantum size effects and optimal atom ***,visi-ble-light-responsive photocatalysts were designed by coupling CdS with graphene quantum dots(GQDs)and platinum single atoms(PtSAs).GQDs and PtSAs were successively loaded on ultrathin CdS nanosheets through freeze-drying and in-situ photocatalytic *** synergistic effect between PtSAs and GQDs results in superior photocatalytic activity with a hydrogen production rate of 13488μmol h^(-1)g^(-1)as well as the maximum apparent quantum efficiency(AQE)of 35.5%in lactic acid aqueous solution,which is 62 times higher than that of pristine CdS(213μmol g^(-1)h^(-1)).The energy conversion efficiency is ca.13.05%.As a photosensitizer and an electron reservoir,GQDs can not only extend the light response of CdS to the visible-light region(400-800 nm),but also promotes the separation of photoinduced electron-hole ***,PtSAs,with unique electronic and geometric features,can provide more efficient proton reduction *** finding provides an effective strategy to remarkably improve the photocatalytic H_(2) production performance.

Gibberellins(GAs)are an important hormone in regulating plant growth and development,and DELLA protein is an essential negative regulator of GA signal *** aim of the study was to clone a GAinhibiting protein DELLA from trifoliate orange(Poncirus trifoliata ***.)and to analyze the bioinformations and expression patterns of the protein gene in tissues and in response to drought stress.A DELLA protein was isolated from trifoliate orange and named as PtGai(Genebank number:MZ170959).The PtGai protein had 1731 bp open reading frames,along with 576 amino acid codes,and also grouped with sweet orange(XM_006430552.4).The PtGai protein sequence was 65%homology with the sequences of DELLA proteins in other plant *** protein existed in the nucleus based on the prediction of subcellular *** protein could be expressed in roots,stems,and leaves,along with the highest expression in *** was upregulated by drought stress in leaves and roots,along with the decrease of root total GA concentration and the inhibition of shoot and root biomass *** indicated the characteristics of PtGai protein and the roles of PtGai in GA synthesis and plant growth.

Here,we describe a general and modular strategy for the rapid assembly of benzo[c]phenanthridine(BCP)derivatives using homogeneous gold ***,in contrast to traditional methods based on the specially preformed substrates that have an inherent preference for the formation of this class of compounds with limited flexibility,this protocol is achieved via a selectively intramolecular cascade of a diazo-tethered alkyne and subsequently an intermolecular cyclization with a nitrile to facilitate the successive C–N and C–C bonds *** methodology uses readily available nitriles as the nitrogen source to deliver the products in good yield with excellent functional group compatibility.A preliminary anti-tumor activity study of these generated products exhibits high anticancer potency against five tumor cell lines,including He La,Mel624,SW-480,8505C,***,we report a catalyst-controlled intermolecular cycloaddition/intramolecular insertion of the substrate with a fulvene to provide fused polycarbocycles containing a seven-membered ring.

Background:Bariatric surgery represents an important treatment option for severely obese patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).However,there remains inadequate data regarding the effects of different bariatric procedures on various NAFLD parameters,especially for histological ***,this meta-analysis aimed to compare the effects of restrictive bariatric procedures and foregut bypass on the metabolic,biochemical,and histological parameters for patients with ***:Medline and Embase were searched for articles relating to bariatric procedures and *** meta-analysis was conducted to compare efficacy of bariatric procedures ***-procedure with subgroup analysis to further compare restrictive against foregut bypass ***:Thirty-one articles involving 3,355 patients who underwent restrictive bariatric procedures(n=1,460)and foregut bypass(n=1,895)were *** foregut bypass(P<0.01)and restrictive procedures(P=0.03)significantly increased odds of fibrosis *** to restrictive procedures,foregut bypass resulted in a borderline non-significant decrease in fibrosis score(P=0.06)and significantly lower steatosis score(P<0.001).For metabolic parameters,foregut bypass significantly lowered body mass index(P=0.003)and low-density lipoprotein(P=0.008)compared to restrictive *** significant differences were observed between both procedures for aspartate aminotransferase(P=0.17)and alkaline phosphatase(P=0.61).However,foregut bypass resulted in significantly lower gamma-glutamyl transferase than restrictive procedures(P=0.01)while restrictive procedures resulted in significantly lower alanine transaminase than foregut bypass(P=0.02).Conclusions:The significant histological and metabolic advantages and comparable improvements in biochemical outcomes support the choice of foregut bypass over restrictive bariatric procedures in NAFLD management.

Improving the photocatalytic activity of graphitic carbon nitride by thermal treatment in a high-pressure hydrogen atmosphere

Extending visible light absorption range and suppressing the recombination of photogenerated charge carriers are always important topics in developing efficient solar-driven photocatalysts. In this study, the thermal treatment process at 400 °C in a high-pressure hydrogen atmosphere was applied to modify graphitic carbon nitride. Compared to the normal atmospheric hydrogen treatment process, this process has the merit of producing nitrogen deficient graphitic carbon nitride in high-yield. The optimal photocatalytic activity of modified graphitic carbon nitride was demonstrated by controlling the treatment duration in the hydrogen *** changes in the crystal structure, microstructure and optical properties of carbon nitrides were investigated by several characterizations. The relationship between the photocatalytic activity and structures of graphitic carbon nitride was preliminarily established. The results obtained in this study could provide some new ways of improving the activity of graphitic carbon nitride based photocatalyst.

The diversity and potential function of endophytic bacteria isolated from Kobreasia capillifolia at alpine grasslands on the Tibetan Plateau, China

A total of 50 endophytic bacterial isolates were obtained from Kobreasia capillifolia at alpine grasslands in the Eastern Qilian Mountains on the Tibetan Plateau in China. Based on the sequencing and phylogenetic analysis of 16 S r DNA genes, all isolates phylogenetically related closely to Bacillus, Acinetobacter, Stenotrophomonas, Brevundimonas, Arthrobacter, Curtobacterium, Paenibacillus, Plantibacter, Promicromonospora, Serratia, and Microbacterium, among which Bacillus was the predominant genus（47.8% of the total number of endophytic isolates）. These isolates possessed different biological functions. In 50 endophytic bacteria, 42 isolates produced indole acetic acid（IAA） on king medium. There were seven isolates showing potency of mineral phosphate solubilization in Pikovaskaia＇s（PKO） liquid medium. Seven isolates exhibited antagonistic effect against Fusarium avenaceum, Colletotrichum coccodes and Phoma foveata. This was the first report on diversity and plant growth promotion of endophytic bacteria from K. capillifolia on alpine grassland in the Eastern Qilian Mountains, Chain. It is essential for revealing the relationship among plant, microorganism, and the special environment because the potential function of endophytic bacteria made a contribution to the interactions of plants and endophytic bacteria.

Multidisciplinary Design Optimization of A Human Occupied Vehicle Based on Bi-Level Integrated System Collaborative Optimization

The design of Human Occupied Vehicle （HOV） is a typical multidisciplinary problem, but heavily dependent on the experience of naval architects at present engineering design. In order to relieve the experience dependence and improve the design, a new Multidisciplinary Design Optimization （MDO） method ＂Bi-Level Integrated System Collaborative Optimization （BLISCO）＂ is applied to the conceptual design of an HOV, which consists of hull module, resistance module, energy module, structure module, weight module, and the stability module. This design problem is defined by 21 design variables and 23 constraints, and its objective is to maximize the ratio of payload to weight. The results show that the general performance of the HOV can be greatly improved by BLISCO.
