This work presents a single-structure 3-axis Lorentz force magnetometer(LFM)based on an AlN-on-Si MEMS *** operation of the proposed LFM relies on the flexible manipulation of applied excitation currents in different directions and frequencies,enabling the effective actuation of two mechanical vibration modes in a single device for magnetic field measurements in three ***,the excited out-of-plane drum-like mode at 277 kHz is used for measuring the x-and y-axis magnetic fields,while the in-plane square-extensional mode at 5.4 MHz is used for measuring the z-axis magnetic *** different configurations of applied excitation currents ensure good crossinterference immunity among the three *** to conventional capacitive LFMs,the proposed piezoelectric LFM utilizes strong electromechanical coupling from the AlN layer,which allows it to operate at ambient pressure with a high *** understand and analyze the measured results,a novel equivalent circuit model for the proposed LFM is also reported in this work,which serves to separate the effect of Lorentz force from the unwanted capacitive *** demonstrated 3-axis LFM exhibits measured magnetic responsivities of 1.74 ppm/mT,1.83 ppm/mT and 6.75 ppm/mT in the x-,y-and z-axes,respectively,which are comparable to their capacitive counterparts.

The metal cutting process is accompanied by complex stress field,strain field,temperature *** comprehensive effects of process parameters on chip morphology,cutting force,tool wear and residual stress are complex and *** element method(FEM)is considered as an effective method to predict process variables and reveal microscopic physical phenomena in the cutting ***,the finite element(FE)simulation is used to research the conventional and micro scale cutting process,and the differences in the establishment of process variable FE simulation models are distinguished,thereby improving the accuracy of FE *** reliability and effectiveness of FE simulation model largely depend on the accuracy of the simulation method,constitutive model,friction model,damage model in describing mesh element,the dynamic mechanical behavior of materials,the tool-chip-workpiece contact process and the chip formation *** this paper,the FE models of conventional and micro process variables are comprehensively and up-to-date reviewed for different materials and machining *** purpose is to establish a FE model that is more in line with the real cutting conditions,and to provide the possibility for optimizing the cutting process *** development direction of FE simulation of metal cutting process is discussed,which provides guidance for future cutting process modeling.

This paper proposes a new method for service restoration of distribution network with the support of transportable power sources(TPSs)and repair crews(RCs).Firstly,a coupling model of distribution networks and vehicle routing of TPSs and RCs is proposed,where the TPSs serve as emergency power supply sources,and the RCs are used to repair the faulted *** the uncertainty of traffic congestion,the probability distribution of the travel time spent on each road is derived based on the Nesterov user equilibrium model,and a two-stage stochastic program is formulated to determine the optimal routings of TPSs and *** efficiently solve the proposed stochastic mixed-integer linear program(MILP),a two-phase scenario reduction method is then developed to scale down the problem size,and an adaptive progressive hedging algorithm is used for an efficient *** effectiveness of the proposed methods and algorithms has been illustrated in a modified IEEE 33-bus system.

Decellularised extracellular matrix (dECM) is a biomaterial derived from natural tissues that has attracted considerable attention from tissue engineering researchers due to its exceptional biocompatibility and malleability attributes. These advantageous properties often facilitate natural cell infiltration and tissue reconstruction for regenerative medicine. Due to their excellent fluidity, the injectable hydrogels can be administered in a liquid state and subsequently formed into a gel state in vivo, stabilising the target area and serving in a variety of ways, such as support, repair, and drug release functions. Thus, dECM-based injectable hydrogels have broad prospects for application in complex organ structures and various tissue injury models. This review focuses on exploring research advances in dECM-based injectable hydrogels, primarily focusing on the applications and prospects of dECM hydrogels in tissue engineering. Initially, the recent developments of the dECM-based injectable hydrogels are explained, summarising the different preparation methods with the evaluation of injectable hydrogel properties. Furthermore, some specific examples of the applicability of dECM-based injectable hydrogels are presented. Finally, we summarise the article with interesting prospects and challenges of dECM-based injectable hydrogels, providing insights into the development of these composites in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. © 2024, Chinese Medical Multimedia Press Co Ltd. Adult olfactory neurogenesis plays critical roles in maintaining olfactory ***-generated neurons in the subventricular zone migrate to the olfactory bulb(OB) and determine olfactory discrimination,but the mechanisms underlying the regulation of olfactory neurogenesis remain *** previous study indicated the potential of APPL2(adaptor protein,phosphotyrosine interacting with PH domain and leucine zipper 2) as a modulating factor for neurogenesis in the adult olfactory *** the present study,we report how APPL2 affects neurogenesis in the OB and thereby mediates olfactory discrimination by using both in vitro neural stem cells(NSCs) and an in vivo animal model-APPL2 transgenic(Tg) *** the in vitro study,we found that APPL2 overexpression resulted in NSCs switching from neuronal differentiation to gliogenesis while APPL2 knockdown promoted *** the in vivo study,APPL2 Tg mice had a higher population of glial cells and dampened neuronal production in the olfactory system,including the corpus callosum,OB,and rostral migratory *** APPL2 Tg mice displayed impaired performance in olfactory discrimination tests compared with wild-type ***,we found that an interaction of APPL2 with Notch1 contributed to the roles of APPL2 in modulating the neurogenic lineage-switching and olfactory *** conclusion,APPL2 controls olfactory discrimination by switching the fate choice of NSCs via interaction with Notch1 signaling.
