Tank模型可以模拟非线性的降雨–地下水运移过程,并且能迅速得到解答。基于现有的单列tank模型,提出新的复合水箱模型。由于新模型参数超过20个,应用传统优化算法难以快速找到最优解,一种新的启发式自搜索算法(变维数搜索算法)被引入并改进后用于模型最优解的寻找。变维数搜索算法能够根据搜索进程的变化自动改变搜索维数并且快速找到最优解。27个参数的复合tank模型被应用于日本国道九号线的一个边坡,计算结果表明:变维数搜索算法能够在10 min左右找到合适的最优解;降雨过程复合tank模型计算的地下水位变化和观测值非常接近。最后通过和有限单元法计算结果的比较表明,有限单元法的计算结果受地质渗透特性的影响很大,而复合tank模型不存在这种问题。工程实例计算表明,该方法和监测结果比较一致,但其适应性更强,特别适用于没有进行足够地质结构探查的边坡。它能够快速反映降雨过程中地下水位的运移过程,可以推广使用。

In this study,a high-throughput fabrication method called laser-assisted direct roller imprinting(LADRI)was developed to lower the cost of nanoimprinting large-area polymer films and to address problems associated with nanoimprinting,namely,microstructural damage and precision in flatness of entire *** LADRI,the laser directly heats the microstructured surface of the roller mold,which heats and melts the surface of a polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA)film to replicate the microstructures on the mold *** this study,the effects of laser power density,scanning speed,size of the microstructures,and contact pressure on the replication speed were investigated *** replication speed increased as the power and scanning speed ***,because the film required heating until it filled the entire depth of the microstructure,an appropriate replication speed was *** result was supported by simulation of the temperature distribution inside the mold and the PMMA using transient heat conduction *** demonstrate the applications of LADRI,two different optical surfaces were replicated:an antireflection(AR)structure with conical structures sized several hundred nanometers and a lightextraction structure with a microlens array(MLA)comprising 10μm lenses,for display and illumination,*** replication degree of the MLA was governed by the contact *** flow simulation indicated that the heat conduction and flow speeds of the melted PMMA surface were comparable within several tens of *** addition,the reflectivity of the AR structure decreased from 4 to 0.5%,and the light intensity of the light-extraction structure increased by a factor of 1.47.

This study examines the difference of the center of gravity (CG) velocity during sit-to-stand (STS) movement between the elderly with and without fall experience. Fifteen elderly without fall experience (age: 75.7 ± 4.8 yr), with one fall experience (age: 75.7 ± 5.0 yr), and two or more fall experiences (age: 75.7 ± 4.8 yr) participated in the measurement of 10m maximal walking speed, functional reach, one-legged standing duration with vision, maximal isometric knee extension, hip flexion, ankle extension and toe flexion muscle strengths, fall risk assessment and ADL questionnaire, and CG velocity during STS movement. No significant differences were found in muscle strength, walking and balance tests (F 0.078). The group with two or more fall experiences was significantly higher than the other groups in the fall risk assessment, and lower than the group without fall experience in ADL (F = 8.5 and 6.1, p = 0.001 and 0.005). Meanwhile, significant differences were found in the maximal and mean CG velocity during STS movement among all groups. The group without fall experience was the greatest, and the group with fall experience was less than half (F = 9.0 and 11.1, p = 0.001

This study aimed at examining the differences in leg strength and activities of daily living (ADL) ability among groups with various knee problems. The subjects consisted of 328 elderly females who were classified into three groups: those without knee pain or a knee disorder, those with knee pain, and those with a knee disorder. The subjects took a knee extension strength test and an ADL survey. Knee extension strength and ADL scores (total score and each domain score of the motions of locomotion, posture change, stability, and manipulation) were selected as the evaluation parameters. The knee extension strength, total ADL score and each domain score of the motions of locomotion, posture change, and stability ranged from low to high in the following order: the group with a knee disorder, the group with knee pain, and the group without pain or a knee disorder. Moreover, manipulation scores were significantly inferior in the group with a knee disorder compared with the other two groups. In conclusion, the female elderly with knee pain or a knee disorder have inferior knee extension strength and ADL with respect to the motions of locomotion, posture change and stability. In addition, with regard toknee extension strength with respect to theabove three motions, the elderly with a knee disorder have inferior scores when compared with the elderly who have only knee pain;thus, they find it difficult to perform activities involving the knee joints.

This study aimed to determine age-related fall risk characteristics among 2324 Japanese community-dwelling elderly through comparisons between young-old and old-old populations. Fall risk characteristics associated with “physical function”, “disease and physical symptom”, “behavior and character”, and “environment” were evaluated, and whether each individual has a high-risk symptom for each risk factor was assessed. The frequencies of individuals for all 16 risk types, which were determined by a combination of the four risk factors, were calculated. The prevalence of each risk type and the incidence of falling in each risk type were calculated within the young-old and old-old groups, and significant differences between these percentages were examined using the chi-square test. The prevalence of the no high-risk symptom group was significantly lower in the old-old group (17.0%) than in the young-old group (45.2%). Although there was no significant difference in the prevalence of the single high-risk symptom group, the prevalence of the two or more high-risk symptom groups was significantly higher in the old-old group. The incidence of fall among the elderly with high-risk symptoms did not change with age, although the incidence of fall with no high-risk symptom increased in the old-old group. Furthermore, high prevalence was observed in risk types with high-risk symptoms for “physical function” and “behavior and character”, particularly in the symptoms of gait, going up and down stairs, and fear of falling. These age-related differences are interesting and meaningful.

Effect of acute oral chlorogenic acid ingestion on the inhibition of blood glucose excursions following glucose to-lerance testing

The aim of this study was to examine the inhibitory effect of acute oral chlorogenic acid (CGA) ingestion on increases in blood glucose levels following glucose tolerance testing. Ten healthy male adults (age: 25.9 ± 5.4 years) participated in the study. Blood samples were collected from the antecubital vein of subjects following overnight fasting. After a 120-min rest, they were administered 75 g glucose and chlorogenic acid or placebo. The amount of chlorogenic acid administered (in the form of capsules) to the subjects was 0.1g per body mass. In addition, only capsules were ingested in placebo ingestion conditions. Blood samples were collected 4 times during the 120-min rest period at intervals of 30 min. Serum insulin and plasma glucose levels were analyzed. Serum insulin levels increased significantly at 30 min after glucose ingestion, and fixed until 120 min in both conditions. Plasma glucose level increased significantly at 30 min after glucose ingestion, followed by a slow decrease. In addition, no significant difference was found between the conditions in each parameter. In conclusion, acute oral chlorogenic acid ingestion may not inhibition blood glucose increase following glucose tolerance.

＜正＞ 1 INTRODUCTION In Japan, a number of three-dimensional base isolation systems have been studied for application to new nuclear plant concepts such as the Fast Breeder Reactor （FBR）, but these efforts have not so far yielded practically applicable results. The impeding factor has been the difficulty of obtaining an adequate capacity on the vertical isolator for supporting the mass of an actual plant and for suppressing rocking motion. In order to solve the foregoing problems,we have proposed a new three-dimensional base isolation system with hydraulic mechanism. For the next generation nuclear power plants, that the system which is constituted of the air spring isolators with the rolling rubber sealing system and the hydraulic three-dimensional isolators with rocking suppression mechanism will be adopted.

This study proposes a model for the measurement of microscale liquid film thickness distribution using fluorescence *** interfacial conditions between the tool and the workpiece in mechanical machining are important for understanding these phenomena and *** this study,indentation tests with transparent tools were used to observe interfaces;however,it was challenging to obtain the signal from a thin fluorescent liquid film on smooth and steeply inclined ***,fluorescence-based measurement,such as laser-induced fluorescence,was *** measure the absolute thickness of the thin fluorescent film,calibration of the measurement system is ***,a theoretical model was proposed considering the multiple reflections of excitation light and fluorescence at the inclined surface between the indenter and *** measuring the profile of the surface topography of the indented workpiece and comparing the results with those measured by a surface profiler,the validity of the proposed calibration method and the performance of this measurement system were *** measured surface profiles,including scratches of 2–4μm,were in good agreement,demonstrating the validity of the proposed method.
