Petrological characterization,U-Pb geochronology,Lu-Hf analyses and major and trace element data from mafic intrusions in the Central Espinhaco(central portion of the Brazilian shield)are used here to investigate the geological significance of the Early Neoproterozoic magmatism in the context of the Sao Francisco-Congo *** mafic bodies are represented by medium to coarse-grained metagabbros with plagioclase,amphibole and *** U-Pb isotopic data from two samples yielded weighted mean 206pb/238U ages of 895±3.4 Ma(MSWD=1.7)and 896±2.4 Ma(MSWD=0.64),regarded as the best estimates for the crystallization age of these mafic *** and trace element data(including REEs)show that the gabbros originated from a subalkaline tholeiitic magma,typical of intraplate *** rocks are slightly enriched in LREEs and LILEs and depleted in *** new isotope and geochemical data,along with regional knowledge,indicate that these metagabbros mark the beginning of an important Tonian-age extensional tectonic event of the landmass of which the Sao Francisco-Congo paleocontinent was part(Rodinia supercontinent or Central African block?).We furthermore suggest that these rocks belong to a prominent suite of Tonian-age mafic rocks that mark a diachronic breakup attempt of this landmass which may have occurred from south to north along the Espinhaco mountain range.

Global monitoring of Persistent Organic Pollutants(POPs)has allowed the knowledge of levels and distribution around the world as well as the understanding of its transport through the ***,there are still some gaps in this regard,especially in some locations,as the case of Great Mendoza,a medium-sized urban area located in the center-west of *** this work,the WRF/CALMET/CALPUFF modeling system was used to estimate airborne levels of four families of POPs(PCBs,PBDEs,DDTs and HCB)in the study *** model was validated from measured data obtained from eleven sites using passive air samplers with polyurethane foam disks(PUFs),subsequently analyzed by GC-ECNI/*** both sets of data,measured and simulated airborne concentrations,five statistical performance metrics were calculated for each family of POP[Mean bias error,(MBE),Fractional Bias(FB),Normalized Mean Square Error(NMSE),Factor of two(Fa2)and Pearson correlation coefficient(r)].Results exhibited a good agreement between modeled and measured data,showing that WRF/CALMET/CALPUFF modeling system predicts POPs airborne concentrations with reasonable accuracy at a local *** output was used to examine the relative source contribution to ground-level concentrations and to assess the spatial variability of the studied POPs in the study *** apportionment showed the prevalence of emissions from open burning of municipal solid waste(ranging from 9%to 90%)on the simulated atmospheric *** presented the lowest mean contribution from this activity(37%)but the highest variability(SD=20%),followed by PCBs(69±9%),and PBDEs(84±4%).The spatial pattern obtained from simulations exhibited that both,lowest and highest levels predicted by the model,occurred in areas where no samples were taken,suggesting that the real gradient in the POPs air concentrations would be much greater than those reflected by measured *** work highlights the usefulness of the implementatio

The character of variations of the local electric resistance and magnetic susceptibility of film polymer composites with graded anisotropic structures on the basis of polyvinyl alcohol, graphite and nickel nano-powders have been studied. Graded anisotropic structures are formed after orientation （stretching） in spatial conditions of thin polymer composites. Structure anisotropy leads to anisotropy both electrical conductivity and magnetic properties of these films. It is established that the changes of these parameters essentially depend on both initial shape of the films and on direction of their orientation. So, after orientation of the rectangle films parallel to it any side forms the film, electrical resistance of which in parallel and rectangle directions to orientation axis changes by Gauss low. The composites containing the magnetic particles after orientation are characterized with analogical regularity （extreme dependence of the magnetic susceptibility on the coordinates of the film along and perpendicular to stretching directions）. Gradient distribution of the local resistances and magnetic susceptibilities in the stretched films along and rectangle to stretching direction is due to gradient of local deformations in the same directions. In electronics these films can be useful for preparing of muitifunctional printed circuits of new generation.

Oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) is one of the agricultural crops with the greatest potentialfor vegetable oil production in Brazil. However, a disease of unknown etiology popularlyknown as Fatal Yellowin (FY) has caused damage to Brazilian farmers particularly in theeastern region of the Amazon. So, the objective of this study was to evaluate the spatialdependence of FY on three oil palm genotypes, grown for many years in an organic produc-tion system in the Amazon region. The study area had 4104 ha, divided into 139 plots. Ineach plot, the monthly incidence of disease was monitored forming a database. The num-ber of diseased plants per year, number of accumulated diseased plants, number of dis-eased plants per hectare, growth rate of diseased plants and incidence of accumulateddisease were evaluated. The results indicated spatial distribution of the variables adjustedto the gaussian, spherical and exponential models, with predominance of the first *** increases the purpose that FY is caused by biotic factors. The highest range achievedin the study was 2929 m indicating the susceptibility of the tested genotypes. Some plotsclose to the river had the highest incidence of the disease on the study, probably associatedwith higher soil moisture.

Introduction: Ruptured intracranial aneurysm is an urgent diagnostic and therapeutic condition. Occlusion with coils is the first line treatment for ruptured aneurysms and also should be used to prevent re-rupture, potentially causing severe brain damage. Most aneurysms are subject to this type of treatment. The risk of intraoperative thromboembolic and haemorrhagic complications during treatment with coils is very low. Endovascular treatment with coils is therefore a safe and effective method that can prevent short and long-term haemorrhage. Short and long-term haemorrhage is achieved by early recanalization of cases with neuro-visualisation. Methods: In this article we present a retrospective analysis of the results of endovascular embolization of 137 patients, from 2017 to the present time, in three hospitals of Georgia country (Evex hospitals, New hospitals, New-vision University Hospital) with a diagnosis of acute subarachnoid haemorrhage. Results: In our study, overall postoperative mortality was reported to be 29.9% (41/137 patients). In 45 patients presenting with Hunt-Hess IV-V, the mortality rate was 51.1% (23/45). According to Raymond-Roy Scale, complete occlusion of aneurysm occurs in 66% of cases, residual occlusion of neck in 26%, and partial occlusion in 6%. Conclusion: Aneurysm rupture is an urgent clinical condition requiring rapid diagnosis and treatment. To prevent aneurysm re-rupture, operative intervention should be performed quickly. The recommended time interval is within 72 hours, and, if possible, within 24 hours after aneurysm rupture. Given the spasms typical of subarachnoid haemorraghe endovascular coiling of ruptured aneurysms is a first-line treatment that depends on the angioarchitecture and localization of the aneurysm. The main technique of endovascular treatment is occlusion by coils with or without remodeling balloon assistance. This paper describes an efficient and appropriate use of biomass in Latvian conditions as well as analyzing the current situation, leading to recommendations for rational use of biomass and the full implementation of the Latvian energy sector. In recent year＇s, Latvian energy sector development analysis shows, that there is a positive tendency--an increase of local and renewable energy share of energy balance. The paper will be identified for future development opporttmities, and will undertake an analysis of renewable energy consumption forecasting in accordance with the renewable energy potential assessment, taking into account the effective use of innovative technologies and ecological aspects of the energy sector. Increasing use of biomass for district heating （and cogeneration）, also increase the efficient use ofbiomass in cost efficiency and reducing of GHG emissions. Efficient use of biomass analyzed in the paper, taking into account technical, legislative, institutional/organizational, economic, information and financial aspects. Promoting of the efficient use of biomass will increase national energy independence.
