Invasive black spiny-tailed iguanas(Ctenosaura similis)on Gasparilla Island,Florida,USA

The native range of Ctenosaura similis extends from southern Mexico through panama. From an initial introduction of 3 animals in 1979, the species now numbers in the thousands on Gasparilla Island in southwest Florida. In response to complaints of property damage from residents and threats to native species, local officials and the US Department of Agriculture Wildlife Services began a removal program in 2008. Through 2011, trappers removed 9467 ctenosaurs. The number removed declined from 32 iguanas/day in 2008 to 1.9 iguanas/day in 2011 despite no easing of the control effort. We necropsied 2757 ctenosaurs to document aspects of their natural history. Females outnumbered males overall, although the largest size class (>300 mm snout-vent length) included 32 males and just 2 females. Reproduction was seasonal. We found oviducal eggs in females from early Apr to early Jun, approximately 2 months later than C. similis in its native range. We trapped hatchlings from late Jul to early Oct coincident with the summer rainy season. Clutch size increased with female body size, with 62 being the largest clutch size recorded. In general, the biology of the invasive population on Gasparilla Island resembles native C. similis populations in Central America, except for the lack of large individuals. We suggest that shorter day length and colder temperatures create environmental conditions that are suboptimal for individual growth compared to those in the native range.

This comprehensive review provides a deep exploration of the unique roles of single atom catalysts(SACs)in photocatalytic hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))*** offer multiple benefits over traditional catalysts such as improved efficiency,selectivity,and flexibility due to their distinct electronic structure and unique *** review discusses the critical elements in the design of SACs,including the choice of metal atom,host material,and coordination environment,and how these elements impact the catalytic *** role of single atoms in photocatalytic H_(2)O_(2)production is also analysed,focusing on enhancing light absorption and charge generation,improving the migration and separation of charge carriers,and lowering the energy barrier of adsorption and activation of *** these advantages,several challenges,including H_(2)O_(2)decomposition,stability of SACs,unclear mechanism,and low selectivity,need to be *** towards the future,the review suggests promising research directions such as direct utilization of H_(2)O_(2),high-throughput synthesis and screening,the creation of dual active sites,and employing density functional theory for investigating the mechanisms of SACs in H_(2)O_(2)*** review provides valuable insights into the potential of single atom catalysts for advancing the field of photocatalytic H_(2)O_(2)production.

Karst regions of Southwest China become a hotspot for global greening through large-scale vegetation restoration in recent two ***,the unique,fragile geological setting of carbonate rocks affects the sustainability of vegetation ***,we summarize and evaluate the impacts of the rock and soil compositions of karst landscapes on the types and quality of vegetation *** introduce the concept of“soil mass”and establish its relationship with aboveground vegetation biomass across varying degrees of rocky *** mineral nutrients and soil mass constrain the potential of vegetation carbon sequestration in karst *** enhance the sustainability of vegetation restoration and carbon sequestration under karst geological constraints,we suggest to push ecological intensification of tree plantations and optimize the zoning and classification of rocky desertification treatment,and these restoration initiatives will foster vegetation restoration to serve as a pivotal pathway towards carbon neutrality.

Cardiovascular health metrics are now widely recognized as modifable risk factors for cognitive decline and *** perturbations might play roles in the linkage of cardiovascular diseases and *** metabolites profling by metabolomics may improve understanding of the potential mechanism by which cardiovascular risk factors contribute to cognitive *** a prospective community-based cohort in China(n=725),312 serum metabolic phenotypes were quantifed,and cardiovascular health score was calculated including smoking,exercise,sleep,diet,body mass index,blood pressure,and blood *** function assessments were conducted in baseline and follow-up visits to identify longitudinal cognitive decline.A better cardiovascular health was signifcantly associated with lower risk of concentration decline and orientation decline(hazard ratio(HR):0.84–0.90;ppolipoprotein-A1,high-density lipoprotein(HDL)cholesterol,cholesterol ester,and phospholipid concentrations were signifcantly associated with a lower risk of longitudinal memory and orientation decline(pppartly mediated by cholesterol ester and total lipids in HDL-2 and-3(proportion of mediation:7.68–8.21%,both ppoproteins,particularly the medium-size HDL *** fndings underscore the potential of utilizing lipoproteins as targets for early stage dementia screening and intervention.

随着离子光钟技术的飞速发展,由离子光钟中用来囚禁离子的射频场带来的微运动效应对其性能的影响也越来越不可忽略。为彻底消除这一效应,提出了全光囚禁离子光钟的实验方案。针对这一实验方案,设计并搭建了用于钙离子全光囚禁的离子囚禁装置。该装置是采用刀片型离子阱设计,能够实现剩余力仅有10^(-20) N量级的高精度的杂散电场补偿;具备6 mm的通关孔径,很好满足了全光囚禁实验中偶极囚禁激光的通过需求;基于改良的螺旋谐振器设计搭建的射频系统能够实现在9.33(1)MHz较低射频频率下的稳定耦合;结合高达10^(-9) pa的真空制备和装配导电玻窗的真空腔体,可以实现长时间的离子囚禁。为全光囚禁钙离子提供了实验基础,对光学囚禁离子光钟的实现具有重大意义。

纵向行政任务的落实机制是大国治理的重要议题。国家级新区正是中央为深入实施重大发展和改革开放战略任务而设立的综合功能区。通过回顾行政发包制理论,可以发现,该理论难以就地方对中央发包的行政任务进行差异化落实的现象提供很好的解释。面对国家级新区“申请热”与“成效冷”的政策悖论,在借鉴行政发包制理论和利益政治理论的基础上,进一步提出了“接包制”的分析框架,并以国家级新区发展变迁的各个阶段为例进行了深入考察。研究发现,接包制实质上是一种低成本的纵向府际激励模式,中央通过设包给予地方以政策或资金支持,地方在政绩利益的驱动下,会采取竞包的方式积极承担中央的政策试点任务并获得政策执行权,由此又导致了中央对行政任务的进一步扩包。“接包制”模式的提出为解释中国国家治理的逻辑提供了新的思路。

Background:The inhibitory microenvironment around spinal cord injury(SCI)severely restricted functional repair after *** was one of the important measures to maintain cellular homeostasis and ensure the harmonious nerve cell ***-inducible factor1α(HIF1-α)can mediate mitochondrial autophagy in neurodegenerative diseases,but the mechanisms are complex and diverse,which need to be further *** plays a significant role in improving the neural microenvironment after spinal cord injury,promote long-term neurological function recovery in SCI patients,but whether electroacupuncture can participate in HIF1-α mediated mitophagy remains ***:Investigated the effects of HIF1-α on mitochondrial autophagy in rats with spinal cord contusion and the potential mechanism of ***:Following the successful construction of an SCI model of Sprague-Dawley rat utilizing a modified Allen method,electroacupuncture intervention was performed at T9 and T11 Jiaji acupoint(EX-B2),with further molecular biology and morphology examined by *** observe the effect of HIF1-α on local damage repair,the stereotypic injection of Hif1a knockdown virus was performed,and the changes of mitophagy in damaged local area was detected employing Western blotting,real-time fluorescence quantitative pCR,immunofluorescence,transmission electron microscopy and Nissl ***:HIF1-α as well as its mitophagy receptor BNIp3 and NIX are upregulated after spinal cord ***-troacupuncture treatment or local inhibition of HIF1-α expression can reverse the early autophagy state after spinal cord injury,reduce cell apoptosis and injury area,promote neuronal ***:Electroacupuncture may serve as a promising strategy for spinal cord injury treatment,by alleviating HIF1-α mediated early mitochondrial autophagy.

《中华人民共和国企业破产法》规定配合清算义务人具有妥善保管企业财务账册等资料的义务。破产企业因财务账册等资料损毁灭失而无法清算时,管理人或个人债权人可以代表全体债权人请求配合清算义务人承担赔偿责任。《全国法院民商事审判工作会议纪要》第118条提出,人民法院不得根据《最高人民法院关于适用〈中华人民共和国公司法〉若干问题的规定(二)》判定配合清算义务人的责任范围,但实践中对配合清算义务人的范围、责任承担范围以及行为与责任因果关系等方面却出现不同的裁判观点。既有制度存在责任配套不足、侵权责任要件不明以及多类型法律责任衔接不畅等问题。为缓解实践困境,应当在破产立法上增设配合清算赔偿责任条款,界定债权人在企业破产下的损失范围,利用主体间连带关系合理配置举证责任,作好司法处罚责任、行政责任与民事赔偿责任之间的衔接,提高责任适用效率。
