A machine le.rning-based strategy for predicting the mechanical strength of coral reef limestone using X-ray computed tomography

Different sedimentary zones in coral reefs le.d to significant anisotropy in the pore structure of coral reef limestone(CRL),making it difficult to study mechanical *** X-ray computed tomography(CT),112 CRL sample. were utilized for training the support vector machine(SVM)-,random forest(RF)-,and back propagation neural network(BPNN)-based models,***,the machine le.rning model was embedded into genetic algorithm(GA)for parameter optimization to effectively predict uniaxial compressive strength(UCS)of *** indicate that the BPNN model with five hidden layers presents the best training effect in the data set of *** SVM-based model shows a tendency to overfitting in the training set and poor generalization ability in the testing *** RF-based model is suitable.for training CRL sample. with large *** of Pearson correlation coefficient matrix and the percentage increment method of performance metrics shows that the dry density,pore structure,and porosity of CRL are strongly correlated to ***,the P-wave velocity is almost uncorrelated to the UCS,which is significantly distinct from the law for homogenous *** addition,the pore tensor proposed in this paper can effectively refle.t the pore structure of coral framework limestone(CFL)and coral boulder limestone(CBL),realizing the quantitative characterization of the heterogeneity and anisotropy of *** pore tensor provides a feasible.idea to establish the relationship between pore structure and mechanical behavior of CRL.

Proposing a machine le.rning approach to analyze and predict basic high-temperature properties of iron ore fines and its factors

The basic high-temperature properties of iron ore play a crucial role.in optimizing sintering and ore ble.ding,but the testing process for these properties is comple. and has significant lag time,which cannot meet the actual needs of ore ble.ding.A prediction model for the basic high-temperature properties of iron ore fines was thus proposed based on a combination of machine le.rning algorithms and genetic ***,the prediction accuracy of different machine le.rning models for the basic high-temperature properties of iron ore fines was ***,a random forest model optimized by genetic algorithms was built,further improving the prediction accuracy of the *** test results show that the random forest model optimized by genetic algorithms has the highest prediction accuracy for the lowest assimilation temperature and liquid phase fluidity of iron ore,with a determination coefficient of 0.903 for the lowest assimilation temperature and 0.927 for the liquid phase fluidity after *** trained model meets the fluctuation requirements of on-site testing and has been successfully applied to actual production on site.

呼吸道合胞病毒(Respiratory syncytial virus,RSV)是导致美国婴儿住院的主要原因。尼塞韦单抗已被推荐用于预防婴儿RSV相关下呼吸道感染(Lower respiratory tract infection,LRTI)。2023年8月,美国食品药品监督管理局(Food and Drug Administration,FDA)批准将单剂量RSVpreF疫苗用于妊娠32-36周孕妇,以预防<6月龄婴儿发生RSV相关LRTI。自2021年10月起,美国免疫实践咨询委员会(Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices,ACIP)RSV疫苗母婴工作组审查了RSV流行病学和RSV母婴预防产品(包括RSVpreF疫苗)在安全性、保护效果和潜在经济影响方面的证据。2023年9月22日,ACIP和疾病控制与预防中心(Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,CDC)推荐采用季节性接种方式(在美国大陆大部分地区为9月至次年1月)为妊娠32-36周孕妇接种RSVpreF疫苗,以预防<6月龄婴儿发生RSV相关LRTI。孕妇在妊娠期间接种RSVpreF疫苗或者为婴儿使用尼塞韦单抗都是预防婴儿发生RSV相关LRTI的推荐方法,但大多数婴儿不需要同时采用两种方法。所有婴儿应通过上述某种产品获得保护,以预防RSV相关LRTI。
