Internet of Things(IoT)technologies are increasingly implemented in buildings as the cost-effective smart sens-ing infrastructure of building automation systems(BASs).They are also dispersed computing resources for novel distributed optimal control ***,wireless communication networks are critical to fulfill these tasks with the performance influenced by inherent uncertainties in networks,e.g.,unpredictable occurrence of link *** and hierarchical distributed approaches are vulnerable against link failure,while the robustness of fully distributed approaches depends on the algorithms *** study therefore proposes a fully distributed robust optimal control approach for air-conditioning systems considering uncertainties of com-munication link in IoT-enabled *** distributed algorithm is adopted that agents know their out-neighbors *** directly coordinate with the connected neighbors for global *** are conducted to test and validate the proposed approach by comparing with existing approaches,i.e.,the centralized,the hierarchical distributed and the fully distributed *** show that different approaches are vulnerable against to uncertainties of communication link to different *** proposed approach always guarantees the optimal control performance under normal conditions and conditions with link failures,verifying its high *** also has low computation complexity and high optimization efficiency,thus applicable on IoT-enabled BASs.

Oral infectious diseases caused by a variety of pathogenic bacteria seriously affect the quality of ***,these diseases remain a clinical challenge because of the lack of simple,safe,and universal *** address these limitations,we synthesize CuO_(x)nanodots(CuO_(x)NDs)with excellent Fenton-like reaction activity and utilize them in the treatment of oral bacterial *** from other complicated approaches,CuO_(x)NDs are rationally prepared using a facile one-pot aqueous *** the presence of H_(2)O_(2),these well-developed CuO_(x)NDs can efficiently catalyze the generation of hydroxyl radicals(·OH)around oral pathogens,leading to the death of various ***,results of biosafety indicate the high biocompatibility and extremely low toxicity of these CuO_(x)*** understanding the admirable in vitro antibacterial effect of CuO_(x)NDs in the presence of H_(2)O_(2),we further explore their in vivo antibacterial performance on several classical animal models including oral mucosal wound model,intragingival bacteria-infected model,and the periodontal infection *** expected,these CuO_(x)NDs with wide-spectrum antibacterial activity can serve as high-performance antibacterial reagents for the treatment of various oral bacterial infections with the help of H_(2)O_(2).In brief,current nanoplatform can act as efficient antibiotics against oral pathogens with broadening the biomedical applications of copper-based nanomaterials.

To elucidate the synergistic effect of dual-atom catalysts(DACs)at the microscopic level,we propose and construct a prototype heteronuclear system,CuNi/TiO_(2),in which the two elements of a pair have significantly different d electron-donating abilities,as a piece in the *** density functional theory calculations,we investigate charge-dependent configurations of Cu-Ni dimers anchored on TiO_(2)by the mixing of individual constituent *** d electron-donating ability determines deposition sequence and position of transition metal atoms on oxides,establishing dimer pattern and metal-support *** interaction between Cu and Ni,beyond the coordination environment,predominately contributes to the synergistic effect.A complex adsorption-reduction behavior of H species on CuNi/TiO_(2)is *** reaction mechanism and catalytic activity of CuNi/TiO_(2)for hydrogen production are *** room temperature and high H coverages,CuNi/TiO_(2)shows better performance and efficiency than Ni1/TiO_(2).Our findings provide a new understanding of the synergistic effect on structure-activity relationships of supported dimers,which would be beneficial in the future design of various DACs or even atomically dispersed metal catalysts.

Damage Characteristics Analysis and Fractal Study of Shale With Prefabricated Fractures under Thermal-mechanical Coupling

To study the damage and failure of shale with different fracture inclination angles under uniaxial compression loading,in this work,RFPA2D-Thermal,a two-dimensional real failure process analysis software,was used for numerical *** simulation results show that quartz in shale mainly affects the tensile and compressive strength of shale by increasing rock *** coupling of temperature and pressure will cause lateral and volume destruction of shale,which enables the shale body to be more easily *** inclination is the key factor affecting shale damage *** failure mode of shale with low-and high-angle fractures is mainly shear failure,and the compressive strength does not vary with crack *** damage mode of obliquely intersecting fractured shale is slip damage along the fracture face,the compressive strength decreases and then increases with the fracture inclination,and a minimum value *** acoustic emission simulation results of the damage process effectively reflect the accumulated internal damage and macroscopic crack appearance until fracture instability when the prefabricated fractured shale is subjected to uniaxial compressive *** crack inclinations of 0°and 120℃ corresponds to the most complex"N"shape damage *** crack inclinations of 30°and 60°,and the damage mode is an inverted"λ"shape.

Landslides are widespread geomorphological phenomena with complex mechanisms that have caused extensive causalities and property damage *** scale and frequency of landslides are presently increasing owing to the warming effects of climate change,which further increases the associated safety *** this study,the relationship between historical landslides and environmental variables in the Hanjiang River Basin was determined and an optimized model was used to constrain the relative contribution of variables and best spatial response *** optimal MaxEnt model was used to predict the current distribution of landslides and influence of future rainfall changes on the landslide *** results indicate that environmental variables in the study area statistically correlate with landslide events over the past 20 *** MaxEnt model evaluation was applied to landslide hazards in the Hanjiang River Basin based on current climate change *** results indicate that 25.9%of the study area is classified as a high-risk *** main environmental variables that affect the distribution of landslides include altitude,slope,normalized difference vegetation index,annual precipitation,distance from rivers,and distance from roads,with a cumulative contribution rate of approximately 90%.The annual rainfall in the Hanjiang River Basin will continue to increase under future climate warming *** rainfall will further increase the extent of high-and medium-risk areas in the basin,especially when following the RCP8.5 climate prediction,which is expected to increase the high-risk area by 10.7%by ***,high landslide risk areas in the basin will migrate to high-altitude areas in the future,which poses new challenges for the prevention and control of landslide *** study demonstrates the usefulness of the MaxEnt model as a tool for landslide susceptibility prediction in the Hanjiang River Basin caused by global warming and yi

Semiconducting polymers(SPs)have shown great feasibility as candidates for near-infrared-II(NIR-Ⅱ)fluorescence imaging-navigated photothermal therapy due to their strong light-harvesting ability and flexible ***,the fluorescence signal of traditional SPs tends to quench in their aggregate states owing to the strongπ-πstacking,which can lead to the radiative decay pathway shutting *** address this issue,aggregation-induced emission effect has been used as a rational tactic to boost the aggregate-state fluorescence of NIR-Ⅱ*** this contribution,we developed a precise molecular engineering tactic based on the block copolymerizations that integrate planar and twisted segments into one conjugated polymer backbone,providing great flexibility in tuning the photophysical properties and photothermal conversion capacity of *** monomers featured with twisted and planar architectures,respectively,were tactfully incorporated via a ternary copolymerization approach to produce a series of new *** optimal copolymer(SP2)synchronously shows desirable absorption ability and good NIR-Ⅱquantum yield on the premise of maintaining typical aggregation-induced emission characteristics,resulting in balanced NIR-Ⅱfluorescence brightness and photothermal ***-dispersible nanoparticles fabricated from the optimal SP2 show efficient photothermal therapeutic effects both in vitro and in *** in vivo investigation reveals the distinguished NIR-Ⅱfluorescence imaging performance of SP2 nanoparticles and their photothermal ablation toward tumor with prominent tumor accumulation ability and excellent biocompatibility.

Sodium-ion batteries (SIBs), which serve as alternatives or supplements to lithium-ion batteries, have been developed rapidly in recent years. Designing advanced high-performance layered NaxTMO_(2) cathode materials is beneficial for accelerating the commercialization of SIBs. Herein, the recent research progress on scalable synthesis methods, challenges on the path to commercialization and practical material design strategies for layered NaxTMO_(2) cathode materials is summarized. Co-precipitation method and solid-phase method are commonly used to synthesize NaxTMO_(2) on mass production and show their own advantages and disadvantages in terms of manufacturing cost, operative difficulty, sample quality and so on. To overcome drawbacks of layered NaxTMO_(2) cathode materials and meet the requirements for practical application, a detailed and deep understanding of development trends of layered NaxTMO_(2) cathode materials is also provided, including high specific energy materials, high-entropy oxides, single crystal materials, wide operation temperature materials and high air stability materials. This work can provide useful guidance in developing practical layered NaxTMO_(2) cathode materials for commercial SIBs.
