The inner fission barriers of the even-even uranium isotopes from the proton to the neutron drip line are examined using the deformed relativistic Hartree-Bogoliubov theory in continuum.A periodic-like evolution for the ground state shapes is shown with respect to the neutron number,i.e.,spherical shapes at shell closures 12.,184,2.8,and prolate dominated shapes between *** to the shape evolution,the inner fission barriers also exhibit a periodic-like behavior:peaks at the shell closures and valleys in the *** triaxial effect on the inner fission barrier is evaluated using triaxial relativistic mean field calculations combined with a simple BCS method for *** the triaxial correction is included,the inner barrier heights show good consistency with available empirical ***,the evolution from the proton to the neutron drip line aligns with results from the multi-dimensionally constrained relativistic mean field theory.A flat valley in the fission barrier height is predicted around the neutron-rich nucleus U which may play a role of fission recycling in astrophysical r-process nucleosynthesis.

The initial condition of high-mass star formation is a complex area of study because of the high densities(n_(H_(2.)>106cm^(-3))and low temperatures(T_(dust)2.D,H^(13)CN,HC^(15)N,SO,and C^(18)O in eight massive precluster and protocluster clumps G18.17,G18.2.,G2..97N,G2..98,G2..44,G2..97S,G2..38,and *** found that the NH3cores are in good agreement with the 3.5 mm peak emission,but the NH_(3)is much more extended than the 3.5 mm emission *** SO distributions agree well with the 3.5 mm peaks for the evolved star formation stage,but we did not detect any SO emission in the four earliest star formation sources.C^(18)O is a poor tracer in conditions of the cold(■18 K)and dense(■10^(4)cm^(-3))cores,e.g.,the prestellar *** also found that the NH_(2.D cores are mainly located in the temperature range of 13.0-2..0 K,and the NH_(2.D lines may be strongly depleted above 2. Infrared dust bubbles play an important role in the study of star formation and the evolution of the interstellar *** this work,we study the infrared dust bubble N75 and the infrared dark cloud G38.93 mainly using the tracers C^(18)O,HCO^(+),HNC and N_(2.H^(+)observed by the 30 m IRAM *** also study the targets using data from large-scale surveys:GLIMPSE,MIPSGAL,GRS,NRAO VLA Sky Survey and Bolocam Galactic Plane *** found that the C^(18)O emission is morphologically similar to the Spitzer IRAC 8.0μm ***1.1 mm cold dust emission of G38.93 shows an elongated structure from southwest to *** ionized gas from G38.93 is surrounded by polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon emission,which may be excited by radiation from *** found that the identified young stellar objects tend to cluster around G38.93 and are mostly in class II with several class I cases distributed around N75,but no class II *** also found evidence of expanding feedback,which could have triggered star formation.

Supermassive black holes(SMBHs)are ubiquitous in the center of galaxies,although the origin of their massive seeds is still *** this paper,we investigate the formation of SMBHs from the quantum chromodynamics(QCD)axion *** this case,primordial black holes(PBHs)are considered as the seeds of SMBHs,which are generated from the QCD axion bubbles due to an explicit Peccei–Quinn(PQ)symmetry breaking after *** QCD axion bubbles are formed when the QCD axion starts to oscillate during the QCD phase *** consider a general case in which the axion bubbles are formed with the bubble effective angle θ_(eff)∈(0,π],leading to the minimum PBH mass∼■(10^(4)−10^(7))M⊙for the axion decay constant f_(a)∼■(10^(16))*** PBHs at this mass region may account for the seeds of SMBHs.

The reliability of the coated industry components demands ideal fatigue properties of the coating,and it is mainly determined by the performance of the *** this study,pulsed magnetic treatment(PMT)was applied to the thermal sprayed WC-10Co4Cr coating,and the fatigue lifetime of the coated bolt increased by 2.9.82.under an imitation of the operating mode *** tests further proved that both the adhesion and cohesion strength were improved after PMT,and they benefit from the interface strengthening *** formation of coherent WC/Co interfaces was characterized by in-situ transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and the molecular dynamic simulations indicate that the work of separation of these interfaces is much higher than the original disordered *** stress was relaxed and distributed more homogeneously after PMT,and it mainly contributes to the coating/substrate *** work provides a new post-treatment method focusing on the interfaces in the WC-based coating and gives insight into its mechanism so that it is hopeful to be applied to other kinds of coatings.

Regulation of phase structure has been recognized as one of the most effective ways to fabricate self-healing polymers with high mechanical *** mechanical properties of the resultant polymers are certainly affected by the size of separated phase ***,the study on this aspect is absence,because it can hardly exclude the influence of variation in monomer proportion required for tuning the separated phase ***,we report the first study on tuning the phase size through reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer(RAFT)polymerization without changing the proportion of *** expected,the size of separated phase has been successfully mediated from 15 nm to 9 nm by tuning the molecular weight of the chain transfer *** is found that the mechanical strength and the self-healing efficiency of the resultant polymers increase simultaneously with the decrease of phase *** study on the formation kinetics of hydrogen bonds reveals that the decrease of phase size can facilitate the re-bonding rate of hydrogen bonds,even if the migration of polymer chains is restricted.

Effect of Al content on modification behavior of non-metallic inclusions in high-strength steel treated with rare earth

The influence of Al content(0.0053,0.0171,and 0.0578 wt.%)on the modification behavior of non-metallic inclusions in 2.CrMoVTiB steel treated with rare earth elements was studied through high-temperature experiments and thermodynamic *** results showed that the modification products varied with the Al content in steel under 0.01 wt.%of Ce *** formation sequence of typical rare earth inclusions in steel with the increase in Al content was Ce_(2.O_(3)→CeAlO_(3)→CeAl_(11)O_(18),and the final stable products were highly Al content *** the Al content was 0.0053 wt.%,the stable phase in steel was Ce2.3;while the[Al]reached 0.0171 wt.%,the stable phase became CeA1O_(3).As the A1 content reached 0.0578 wt.%,CeAl_(11)O_(18) became the stable *** a result,increasing the Al content could inhibit the precipitation of Ce_(2.O_(3) inclusions in steel while promote the formation of CeAIO3 and CeAl_(11)O_(18) *** addition,both Ca treatment and Ce treatment could effectively refine the size of inclusions in steel by changing their ***,the feeding amount of Ca wire into molten steel should be appropriately reduced under the condition of adding Ce simultaneously,which is expected to be beneficial for an improved Ce treatment effect.

Ebola virus(EBOV)and Marburg virus(MARV),members of the Filoviridae family,are highly pathogenic and can cause hemorrhagic fevers,significantly impacting human *** are considered reservoirs of these viruses because related filoviruses have been discovered in ***,due to the requirement for maximum containment laboratories when studying infectious viruses,the characterization of bat filoviruses often relies on pseudoviruses and minigenome *** this study,we used RACE technology to sequence the 30-leader and 50-trailer of Mengla virus(MLAV)and constructed a *** to MARV,the transcription activities of the MLAV minigenome are independent of *** further assessed the effects of polymorphisms at the 50 end on MLAV minigenome activity and identified certain mutations that decrease minigenome reporter efficiency,probably due to alterations in the RNA secondary *** reporter activity upon recombination of the 30-leaders and 50-trailers of MLAV,MARV,and EBOV with those of the homologous or heterologous minigenomes was compared and it was found that the polymerase complex and leader and trailer sequences exhibit intrinsic ***,we investigated whether the polymerase complex proteins from EBOV and MARV support MLAV minigenome RNA synthesis and found that the homologous system is more efficient than the heterologous *** efficiently inhibited MLAV as well as EBOV *** summary,this study provides new information on bat filoviruses and the minigenome will be a useful tool for high-throughput antiviral drug screening.
