Cellular metabolism is the fundamental process by which cells maintain growth and *** produces energy,furnishes raw materials,and intermedi-ates for biomolecule synthesis,and modulates enzyme activity to sustain normal cellular *** metabolism is the foundation of cellular life processes and plays a regulatory role in various biological functions,including pro-grammed cell *** is a recently discovered form of iron-dependent programmed cell *** inhibition of ferroptosis plays a crucial role in tumorigenesis and tumor ***,the role of cellular metabolism,particularly glucose and amino acid metabolism,in cancer ferroptosis is not well ***,we reviewed glucose,lipid,amino acid,iron and sele-nium metabolism involvement in cancer cell ferroptosis to elucidate the impact of different metabolic pathways on this ***,we provided a detailed overview of agents used to induce cancer *** explained that the metabolism of tumor cells plays a crucial role in maintaining intracellu-lar redox homeostasis and that disrupting the normal metabolic processes in these cells renders them more susceptible to iron-induced cell death,resulting in enhanced tumor cell *** combination of ferroptosis inducers and cel-lular metabolism inhibitors may be a novel approach to future cancer therapy and an important strategy to advance the development of treatments.

Chronic hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection can lead to advanced liver ***,we establish a transgenic murine model expressing a basic core promoter(BCP)-mutated HBV *** previous studies on the wild-type virus,the BCP-mutated HBV transgenic mice manifest chronic liver injury that culminates in cirrhosis and tumor development with ***,agonistic anti-Fas treatment induces fulminant hepatitis in these mice even at a negligible *** the BCP mutant exhibits a striking increase in HBV core protein(HBc)expression,we posit that HBc is actively involved in hepatocellular ***,HBc interferes with Fis1-stimulated mitochondrial recruitment of Tre-2/Bub2/Cdc16 domain family member 15(TBC1D15).HBc may also inhibit multiple Rab GTPase-activating proteins,including Rab7-specific TBC1D15 and TBC1D5,by binding to their conserved catalytic *** cells under mitochondrial stress,HBc thus perturbs mitochondrial dynamics and prevents the recycling of damaged ***,sustained HBc expression causes lysosomal consumption via Rab7 hyperactivation,which further hampers late-stage autophagy and substantially increases apoptotic cell ***,we show that adenovirally expressed HBc in a mouse model is directly cytopathic and causes profound liver injury,independent of antigen-specific immune *** findings reveal an unexpected cytopathic role of HBc,making it a pivotal target for HBV-associated liver disease *** BCP-mutated HBV transgenic mice also provide a valuable model for understanding chronic hepatitis B progression and for the assessment of therapeutic strategies.

The Li-Mg-B-H composite(2LiBH_(4)+MgH_(2))has a high capacity of 11.4 wt%as a hydrogen storage ***,the slow kinetics and poor cycling stability severely restrict its practical *** this work,a layered Nb_(2)C MXene was first synthesized and then introduced to tailor the kinetics and cycling stability of the Li-Mg-B-H *** milled 2LiH+MgB_(2)composites were initially hydrogenated to obtain the 2LiBH_(4)+MgH_(2)*** 2LiBH_(4)+MgH_(2)+5wt%Nb_(2)C can release 9.0 wt%H_(2)in 30 min at 400℃,while it is only 2.7 wt%for the undoped 2LiBH_(4)+MgH_(2).The dehydrogenation activation energies of MgH_(2)and LiBH_(4)are 123 and 154 kJ·mol^(-1)respectively for the 5 wt%Nb_(2)C-doped composite,lower than the undoped composite(164 and 165 kJ·mol^(-1)).The 2LiBH_(4)+MgH_(2)+5 wt%Nb_(2)C possesses excellent cycling stability,with the reversible capacity only slightly reduced from 9.4 wt%for the 1st cycle to 9.3 wt%for the 20th ***_(2)C keeps stable in the composite and acts as an efficient catalyst for the Li-Mg-B-H *** is believed that both the layered structure and the active Nb element contribu te to the enhanced hydrogen storage performances of the Li-Mg-B-H *** work confirms that the Nb_(2)C MXene with layered stru cture has a significant enhancing impact on the Li-Mg-B-H hydrogen storage materials,which is different from the bulk NbC.

Intestinal macrophages play crucial roles in both intestinal inflammation and immune homeostasis. They can adopt two distinct phenotypes, primarily determined by environmental cues. These phenotypes encompass the classically activated pro-inflammatory M1 phenotype, as well as the alternatively activated anti-inflammatory M2 phenotype. In regular conditions, intestinal macrophages serve to shield the gut from inflammatory harm. However, when a combination of genetic and environmental elements influences the polarization of these macrophages, it can result in an M1/M2 macrophage activation imbalance, subsequently leading to a loss of control over intestinal inflammation. This shift transforms normal inflammatory responses into pathological damage within the intestines. In patients with ulcerative colitis-associated colorectal cancer (UC-CRC), disorders related to intestinal inflammation are closely correlated with an imbalance in the polarization of intestinal M1/M2 macrophages. Therefore, reinstating the equilibrium in M1/M2 macrophage polarization could potentially serve as an effective approach to the prevention and treatment of UC-CRC. This paper aims to scrutinize the clinical evidence regarding Chinese medicine (CM) in the treatment of UC-CRC, the pivotal role of macrophage polarization in UC-CRC pathogenesis, and the potential mechanisms through which CM regulates macrophage polarization to address UC-CRC. Our objective is to offer fresh perspectives for clinical application, fundamental research, and pharmaceutical advancement in UC-CRC.

Examining the pollination biology of plant species is not only crucial for enhancing our understanding of their reproductive biology,but also essential for elucidating their adaptation and evolutionary ***,we investigated the breeding system and pollination biology of two closely related species in *** flower of *** is unique in the genus with purple and chartaceous(paper-like)sepals,fewer stamens with yellow anthers and purple *** three seasons of field observation and exclusion experiments,we determined that *** was primarily pollinated by a hornet species,Vespa bicolor,which also served as the most efficient *** contrast,*** was primarily pollinated by large *** purpurea exhibited a significantly higher cumulative nectar volume than ***,which could be a crucial factor in attracting ***.A control experiment further demonstrated that removing the nectar leaf(petal)significantly decreased the visiting frequency of *** system studies revealed that both species were self-compatible,yet they primarily underwent outcrossing in natural *** study presents a compelling case of possible pollinator shift in *** accompanied by morphological divergence.A more in-depth investigation of this system would offer crucial insights into the extent to which pollinators are involved in the plant speciation process and whether they contribute to reproductive isolation between closely related species.

Molecular profiling of cell-surface proteins is a powerful strategy for precise cancer *** mass cytometry(MC)enables synchronous detection of over 40 cellular parameters,its full potential in disease classification is challenged by the limited types of recognition probes currently *** this work,we synthesize a panel of heavy isotopeconjugated aptamers to profile cancer-associated signatures on the surface of hematological malignancy(HM)*** on 15 molecular signatures,we performed cell-surface profiling that allowed the precise classification of 8 HM cell *** with machine-learning technology,this aptamer-based MC platform also achieved multiclass identification of HM subtypes in clinical sampleswith 100%accuracy in the training cohort and 80%accuracy in the test ***,we report an effective and practical strategy for precise cancer classification at the singlecell level,paving the way for its clinical use in the near future.

针对配二维弹道修正引信高旋弹具有弹体气动参数非对称、纵向和横向修正紧密耦合等问题,为了准确表征高旋弹气动参数、明确修正弹丸气动特性和产生机理,提出了基于CFD(computational fluid dynamics)仿真的双旋结构气动力计算分析方法.在构建双滚转域流场仿真模型的基础上,对比了二维修正引信不同控制状态下的弹丸受力情况;明确了高旋弹固有气动力和二维修正引信所引起的气动力;建立并推导了攻角与滚转角耦合情况下的舵片受力模型.研究表明:针对二维修正组件,需要考虑合攻角与舵滚转角的相对位置关系以计算诱导阻力;受迎背风和舵片绕流影响,舵片受力模型和弹体的横、纵向气动力均随攻角、滚转角及马赫数变化.

以水翼侧端的间隙流场为研究对象,采用经过实验验证的空化流动数值模拟方法,获得不同间隙宽度下的流场信息.基于熵产理论分析发现:湍流耗散导致的熵产值占总熵产的比例最高,超过50%,其随间隙宽度的变化规律与总压差反映的能量损失接近,但熵产更能揭示流场的能量损耗细节.分析间隙涡流和空化流动特征可见:湍流耗散主要集中在旋涡外缘和空化末端区域,与旋涡的旋转方向及空化发展的稳定性相关.在小间隙宽度下,应更关注水翼附近的能量损失.随着间隙宽度的增大,空化会影响下游更远的流场,因此间隙宽度的影响须结合能量损失和流动特征进行综合评判.

Seeking intrinsically low thermal conductivity materials is a viable strategy in the pursuit of high-performance thermoelectric ***,by using first-principles calculations and semiclassical Boltzmann transport theory,we systemically investigate the carrier transport and thermoelectric properties of monolayer Janus GaInX_(3)(X=S,Se,Te).It is found that the lattice thermal conductivities can reach values as low as 3.07 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1),1.16 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)and 0.57 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)for GaInS_(3),GaInSe_(3),and GaInTe_(3),respectively,at room *** notably low thermal conductivity is attributed to strong acoustic-optical phonon coupling caused by the presence of low-frequency optical phonons in GaInX_(3) ***,by integrating the charac teristics of electronic and thermal transport,the dimensionless figure of merit ZT can reach maximum values of 0.95,2.37,and 3.00 for GaInS_(3),GaInSe_(3),and GaInTe_(3),*** results suggest that monolayer Janus GaInX_(3)(X=S,Se,Te)is a promising candidate for thermoelectric and heat management applications.

为加快港口协同发展,基于空间杜宾面板模型从沿海港口整体视角和港口群视角测度我国港口的空间溢出效应以评判港口间的竞争与合作关系,并采用空间效应分解方法分析港口间竞争与合作的潜在经济动因。对我国沿海分属五大港口群的45个港口展开实证研究,结果显示:我国沿海港口整体上呈负的空间溢出效应,港口间存在一定程度的竞争态势;从港口群视角来看,空间溢出效应在不同港口群的表现具有一定差异性。长三角港口群呈正向空间溢出效应,港际关系以合作为主导;环渤海港口群和西南沿海港口群呈负向空间溢出效应,港际关系以竞争为主导;东南沿海港口群和珠三角港口群在统计意义上并不存在空间溢出效应。总体而言,港口城市的固定资产投资、人均GDP、第三产业占GDP比重、进出口总额等是促进港口发展的重要经济要素,相关经济要素在不同区域对港口的空间效应影响也具有差异性。
