The global robust output regulation problem of the output feedback systems has been extensively studied under various assumptions of the complexity and uncertainty. All these approaches boil down to a stabilization problem of a so-called augmented extended system. This paper will describe an alternative approach which converts the original problem into a stabilization problem of a so-called extended augmented system. As the extended augmented system is somewhat simpler than the augmented extended system, this alternative approach is also simpler than the first approach.

Photoelectrocatalytic coupling CO2and volatile organic compounds （VOCs） is a promising green strategy for the synergistic conversion of the two carbon-containing resources to *** catalytic efficiency is always at the mercy of chemical inertness of CO2and the competitive hydrogen evolution of ***,a modified g-C3N4/ZnAl-LDH Z-scheme heterojunction catalyst with dual reaction site was rationally designed and precisely *** Faraday efficiency of ethanol reached 68.67%with a corresponding formation rate of 227.3μmol *** revealed by in-situ characterizations and density functional theory calculations,CO2and HCHO were absorbed at Zn site and N site,***,*CO generated from CO2and HCHO was converted to*CH3O and*CHO on the dual-active-site *** detailed reaction mechanism experiments indicated that C–C coupling only occurred between*CO and*CH3O in electrocatalysis *** from the“*CO+*CH3O”path,another“*CO+*CHO”coupling path was also detected in photoelectrocatalytic *** selectivity of ethanol was significantly enhanced due to the synthesis of dual-site catalyst and the dual-path coupling path between CO2and HCHO simultaneously driven by light and electricity.

This study presents a breakthrough in flexible strain sensor technology with the development of an ultra-high sensitivity and wide-range sensor, addressing the critical challenge of reconciling sensitivity with measurement range. Inspired by the structure of bamboo slips, we introduce a novel approach that utilises liquid metal to modulate the electrical pathways within a cracked platinum fabric electrode. The resulting sensor demonstrates a gauge factor greater than 108 and a strain measurement capability exceeding 100%. The integration of patterned liquid metal enables customisable tuning of the sensor's response, while the porous fabric structure ensures superior comfort and air permeability for the wearer. Our design not only optimises the sensor's performance but also enhances the electrical stability that is essential for practical applications. Through systematic investigation, we reveal the intrinsic mechanisms governing the sensor's response, offering valuable insights for the design of wearable strain sensors. The sensor's exceptional performance across a spectrum of applications, from micro-strain to large-strain detection, highlights its potential for a wide range of real-world uses, demonstrating a significant advancement in the field of flexible electronics.

The distributed observer approach has been an effective way to synthesise a distributed control law for a multi-agent ***,this approach assumes that all the followers know the system matrix of the leader system,and this assumption may not be desirable in some *** this note,we will further introduce an adaptive distributed observer,which is able to estimate both the state and the system matrix of the leader and thus does not require that all the followers know the system matrix of the leader *** will also point out some applications of the adaptive distributed observer to several cooperative control problems of multiagent systems such as the leader-following consensus problem,the cooperative output regulation problem and rendezvous and/or flocking.

Transition metal-based nanomaterials have emerged as promising electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction（OER）. Considerable research efforts have shown that self-reconstruction occurs on these nanomaterials under operating conditions of OER process. However, most of them undergo incomplete reconstruction with limited thickness of reconstruction layer, leading to low component utilization and arduous exploration of real catalytic mechanism. Herein, we identify the dynamic behaviors in complete reconstruction of Co-based complexes during OER. The hollow phytic acid（PA） cross-linked CoFe-based complex nanoboxes with porous nanowalls are designed because of their good electrolyte penetration and mass transport ability, in favor of the fast and complete reconstruction. A series of experiment characterizations demonstrate that the reconstruction process includes the fast substitution of PA by OH-to form Co（Fe）(OH)xand subsequent potential-driven oxidation to Co（Fe）OOH. The obtained CoFeOOH delivers a low overpotential of 290 mV at a current density of 10 mA cm-2and a long-term *** experiment results together with theory calculations reveal that the Fe incorporation can result in the electron rearrangement of reconstructed CoFeOOH and optimization of their electronic structure,accounting for the enhanced OER activity. The work provides new insights into complete reconstruction of metal-based complexes during OER and offers guidelines for rational design of high-performance electrocatalysts.

Let {X, Xn; n ≥ 0} be a sequence of independent and identically distributed random variables with EX=0, and assume that EX^2I（｜X｜ ≤ x） is slowly varying as x →∞, i.e., X is in the domain of attraction of the normal law. In this paper, a self-normalized law of the iterated logarithm for the geometrically weighted random series Σ~∞（n=0）β~nXn（0 〈 β 〈 1） is obtained, under some minimal conditions.

Obtaining the temperature inside the gasifier of a Shell coal gasification process(SCGP)in real-time is very important for safe process ***,this temperature cannot be measured directly due to the harsh operating *** this temperature using the extended Kalman filter(EKF)based on a simplified mechanistic model is proposed in this *** gasifier is partitioned into three *** quench pipe and the transfer duct are seen as two additional zones.A simplified mechanistic model is developed in each zone and formulated as a state-space *** temperature in each zone is estimated by the EKF in *** proposed method is applied to an industrial SCGP and the effectiveness of the estimated temperatures is verified by a process variable both qualitatively and *** prediction capability of the simplified mechanistic model is *** effectiveness of the proposed method is further verified by comparing it to a Kalman filter-based single-zone temperature estimation method.
