Effect of Bi/Si Ratio of BiBSi Glass on Its Structure, Properties and Laser Sealing Shear Strength for Vacuum Glazing

The low-melting glass of Bi2O_(3)-B2O_(3)-SiO_(2)(BiBSi)system was used for the first time for laser sealing of vacuum *** the condition of constant boron content,how the structure and properties vary with Bi/Si ratio in low-melting glass was *** addition,the relationships between laser power,low-melting glass solder with different Bi/Si ratios and laser sealing shear strength were *** results show that a decrease in the Bi/Si ratio can cause a contraction of the glass network of the low-melting glass,leading to an increase of its characteristic temperature and a decrease of its coefficient of thermal *** laser sealing,the copper ions in the low-melting glass play an endothermic role.A change in the Bi/Si ratio will affect the valence state transition of the copper ions in the low-melting *** absorbance of the low-melting glass does not follow the expected correlation with the Bi/Si ratio,but shows a linear correlation with the content of divalent copper *** greater the concentration of divalent copper ions,the greater the absorbance of the low-melting glass,and the lower the laser power required for laser *** shear strength of the low melting glass solder after laser sealing was tested,and it was found that the maximum shear strength of Z1 glass sample was the highest up to 2.67 MPa.

How ploughing and frictional melting regulate ice-skating friction

The slipperiness of ice is well known while,for ice skating,its mechanism still needs further investigation,where the complex interactions including the thermal conduction of the skate–meltwater–ice system,the ploughing and the frictional melting of ice to the friction force are still *** study presents a theoretical framework and a simplified analytical solution to unveil the friction mechanism when a curved skate sliding on *** theory is validated by experiments and the effects of these various factors,including the sliding velocity,the ice temperature,the supporting weight,and the geometry of the skate blade to the friction are revealed in *** study finds that the contribution of friction force from the ploughing deformation through skate indentation and that from the fluid friction through the shear motion of the meltwater layer is comparable with each other,which thus clarifies how the ploughing deformation of the ice substrate together with its frictional melting regulates the friction during skating.

Copper(Cu)-bearing stainless steel has testified its effectiveness to reduce the risk of bacterial ***,its antibacterial mechanism is still ***,three 430 ferritic stainless steels with different Cu contents are selected to conduct deeper research by the way of bacterial inactivation from two aspects of material and ***,electrochemical and antibacterial results show that the increase in Cu content simultaneously improves the corrosion resistance and antibacterial property of 430 stainless *** addition,it is found that Escherichia coli(***)on the surface 430 Cu-bearing stainless steel by the dry method of inoculation possesses a rapid inactivation ability.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)aids with ion chelation experiments prove that Cu(Ⅰ)plays a more crucial role in the contact-killing efficiency than Cu(Ⅱ),resulting from more production of reactive oxygen species(ROS).

A cyclic behavior of CME accelerations for accelerating and decelerating events

We investigate the cyclic evolutionary behavior of CME accelerations for accelerating and decelerating CME events in cycle 23 from 1997 January to 2007 December. It is found that the absolute values of semiannual mean accelerations of both accelerating and decelerating CME events roughly wax and wane in a cycle, delaying the sunspot cycle in time phase. We also investigate the semiannual number of CMEs with positive and neg- ative acceleration and find that there are more decelerating CME events than accelerating CME events during the maximum period of a cycle （about three years）, but there are more accelerating CME events than decelerating CME events during the rest of the time interval of the cycle. Our results seem to suggest that the different driving mechanisms may be acting accelerate and decelerate CME events; for accelerating CME events, the propelling force （Fp） statistically seems to play a significant role in pushing CMEs outward; for decelerating CME events, the drag （Fd） statistically seems to play a more effective role in determining CME kinematic evolution in the outer corona. During the maximum period of a cycle, because of the V^2 dependence, Fd is generally stronger; because of the magnetic field dependence, Fp is also generally stronger. Thus, the absolute values of both the negative and positive accelerations are generally larger during that time. Because of the V^2 dependence, Fd may be more effective during the maximum period of a cycle. Hence, there are more decelerating CME events than accelerating CME events during that time. During the minimum time interval of a cycle, CMEs have relatively small speeds, and Fp may be more effective. Therefore, there are more accelerating CME events than decelerating CME events during that time.

Systematic Acupuncture Explains Acupuncture at Baihui(GV20) and Fengchi(GB20) Targeting the Inflammatory Response to Regulate Migraine

Objective: To take Baihui (GV20) and Fengchi (GB20) targeting inflammatory response to regulate migraine as an example to describe a new method for studying the mechanism of stimulating ***: The target information of Baihui (GV20) and Fengchi (GB20) was retrieved， and after intersection with migraine， Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (keGG)， Reactome， and UniProt keywords were used for functional enrichment. After selecting the main pathway， rats were selected and nitroglycerin was used for modeling， and the behavioral scores， inflammatory factors， heme oxygenase 1 (HMOX1)， protein kinase B (AKT1)， signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3)， phosphorylated extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 (P-ERK1/ERK2) and other states of the rats in the acupuncture， twisting， and electroacupuncture groups were ***: A total of 135 Baihui (GV20) targets and 27 Fengchi (GB20) targets were collected. A total of 73 target information were obtained after the intersection of these targets in migraine. These 73 targets have three main pathways: hypoxia-inducible factor 1 (HIF-1) signaling pathway， signaling by interleukins and inflammatory response. The main targets in the pathway were verified and found that interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β)， interleukin-6 (IL-6)， tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) and HMOX1， AKT1， STAT3， P-ERK1/ERK2 can be regulated by Baihui (GV20) and Fengchi (GB20).Conclusion: Baihui (GV20) and Fengchi (GB20) can regulate migraine by regulating inflammatory factors and HMOX1， AKT1， STAT3， P-ERK1/ERK2 and other changes in HIF-1 signaling pathway， Signaling by Interleukins and Inflammatory response pathways. Based on systems biology and network pharmacology， and with the model of "acupoint-target-disease"， explore the research methods of systematic acupuncture and moxibustion. We believe this is a usable research direction for exploring the mechanism of acupuncture stimulation.

Double beam near-infrared spectrometer for compensation of background water absorption and instrumental drift in intensity

A double beam near-infrared spectrometer is developed to compensate the water absorption and instrumental drift in intensity. The spectrometer may be used for both single and double beam measurements,and the two operation modes are compared. The results show that the double beam technique eliminates instrumental drift in the single beam measurement and therefore the stability of the system increases by more than 20%. The compensation of the double beam system on water absorption is verified by the measurement of fat content in milk. The results show that the spectrum data based on double beam mode get better calibration model and lower prediction error than traditional single beam mode.

Effect of order–disorder transition on thermodynamic and electronic properties of σ and χ phases in W–Re alloy: the first-principles calculation

The Tungsten-Rhenium(W-Re) alloys,celebrated for their high melting point,strength at elevated temperatures,electrical resistivity,and radiation resistance,have been widely utilized in high-temperature components,aerospace,electronics,and nuclear *** constituents of the topologically close-packed(TCP) phases,the sigma phase(σ) and chi phase(χ) formed within W-Re alloys wield considerable influence on the mechanical properties and the stability of the *** calculations were utilized in the present work to explore the structural,thermodynamic,and electronic properties of both ordered and disordered configurations within the σ and χ phases,culminating in a systematic elucidation of the higher phase stability exhibited by the ordered *** is found that the bulk modulus of these two phases is directly proportional to the concentration of Re in the alloy,while the equilibrium volume is inversely *** thermodynamic parameters of the σ and χ phases are calculated via the mean-field potential *** similar trends observed in the isobaric heat capacity,enthalpy increment,and entropy change curves for these two phases suggest they possess comparable thermodynamic *** is noteworthy that the contribution of ionic vibrations predominantly affects the isobaric heat capacity,while the contribution of thermal electronic excitations increases linearly with *** the structure and thermodynamic properties of TCP phases in W-Re alloys at low temperatures has profound significance for optimizing material performance,microstructures features,establishing theoretical foundations,and predicting material behavior.

Modeling and Verification of an Astronaut Handling Large-mass Payload

The experiments on astronaut motions are difficult to conduct due to the limitation and high cost of constructing or simulating the microgravity environment of space. Therefore, the method of computer simulation on astronaut extravehicular activity is broadly promoted. However, validations and verifications for these simulations stated in related literatures are incomplete such as comparing with the limits of human body movements or reconstructing a three-dimensional movement for some parts of EVA video. Novel modeling and verification methods for the task of an astronaut handling targe-mass payload during EVA were revealed. A simplified model of an astronaut was constructed, and the astronaut motion was conceived as a planar movement of a multi-body system which includes seven segments with six revolute joints in the human body sagittal plane. The inverse kinematics method was used to calculate joint angles, joint velocities, and joint accelerations in time domain. The solution of joint torques using the inverse recursive dynamics was achieved. Furthermore, a virtual model with the ADAMSTM software was developed and implemented to verify the results by adding the kinematical data calculated to joints in order to achieve the trace of the center of mass of the hand. Additionally, the joints kinematics and kinetics data with time in the virtual model were obtained and compared with the corresponding calculated data. This result indicates that the modeling methods proposed can be employed as a solid algorithm to conduct the simulation of astronaut＇s tasks in EVA, and verification using the virtual model can be easily operated and has a good accuracy. This study provides an effective and economical way of modeling and simulation for extravehicular missions.
