AtVQ25 promotes salicylic acid-related leaf senescence by fine-tuning the self-repression of AtWRKY53

Most mechanistic details of chronologically ordered regulation of leaf senescence are *** networks centered on AtWRKY53 are crucial for orchestrating and integrating various senescence-related ***,AtWRKY53binds to its own promoter and represses transcription of AtWRKY53,but the biological significance and mechanism underlying this selfrepression remain *** this study,we identified the VQ motif-containing protein AtVQ25as a cooperator of *** expression level of AtVQ25 peaked at mature stage and was specifically repressed after the onset of leaf ***25-overexpressing plants and atvq25 mutants displayed precocious and delayed leaf senescence,***,we identified AtWRKY53 as an interacting partner of *** determined that interaction between AtVQ25 and AtWRKY53 prevented AtWRKY53from binding to W-box elements on the AtWRKY53promoter and thus counteracted the selfrepression of *** addition,our RNA-sequencing data revealed that the AtVQ25-AtWRKY53 module is related to the salicylic acid(SA)*** leaf senescence and SA-induced leaf senescence in AtVQ25-overexpressing lines were inhibited by an SA pathway mutant,atsid2,and Nah G transgenic plants;AtVQ25-overexpressing/atwrky53 plants were also insensitive to SA-induced leaf ***,we demonstrated that AtVQ25 directly attenuates the self-repression of AtWRKY53 during the onset of leaf senescence,which is substantially helpful for understanding the timing of leaf senescence onset modulated by AtWRKY53.

When a curling rock slides on an ice sheet with an initial rotation,a lateral movement occurs,which is known as the curling *** force of friction between the curling rock and the ice sheet changes continually with changes in the environment;thus,the sport of curling requires great skill and *** throwing of the curling rock is a great challenge in robot design and control,and existing curling robots usually adopt a combination scheme of a wheel chassis and gripper that differs significantly from human throwing movements.A hexapod curling robot that imitates human kicking,sliding,pushing,and curling rock rotating was designed and manufactured by our group,and completed a perfect show during the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics *** switching between the walking and throwing tasks is realized by the robot’s morphology transformation based on leg configuration *** robot’s controlling parameters,which include the kicking velocity v_(k),pushing velocity v_(p),orientation angle θc,and rotation velocityω,are determined by aiming and sliding models according to the estimated equivalent friction coefficientμ_(equ)and ratio e of the front and back *** stable errors between the target and actual stopping points converge to 0.2 and 1.105 m in the simulations and experiments,respectively,and the error shown in the experiments is close to that of a well-trained wheelchair curling *** robot holds promise for helping ice-makers rectify ice sheet friction or assisting in athlete training.

Developing cost-effective electrocatalysts with high activity and stability especially at high current density is of great significance for the large-scale commercial application of electrochemical water splitting to hydrogen production but still remains ***,we report an effective confinement pyrolysis strategy to fabricate embedded ruthenium-cobalt nanoclusters supported on N-doped porous two-dimensional carbon nanosheets(RuCo@CN).Markedly,the embedded structure can effectively prevent the migration,agglomeration,and leaching of nanoparticles,thus endowing the RuCo@CN catalyst with high *** be exact,high stability with up to 650 h can be achieved at high current density(-500 and-1000 mA·cm^(-2)).Besides,the RuCo@CN catalysts also exhibit highly reactive with low overpotentials of only 11mV at-10 mA·cm^(-2).Density functional theory calculations reveal that the introduction of cobalt reduces the decomposition barrier of H_(2)O for RuCo@CN alloy,thus promoting hydrogen evolution reaction.

Depositional model of the Member Deng-2 marginal microbial mound-bank complex of the Dengying Formation in the southwestern Sichuan Basin, SW China: Implications for the Ediacaran microbial mound construction and hydrocarbon exploration

Recent advances in hydrocarbon exploration have been made in the Member Deng-2 marginal microbial mound-bank complex reservoirs of the Dengying Formation in the western Sichuan Basin, SW China,where the depositional process is regarded confusing. The microfacies, construction types, and depositional model of the Member Deng-2 marginal microbial mound-bank complex have been investigated using unmanned aerial vehicle photography, outcrop section investigation, thin section identification,and seismic reflections in the southwestern Sichuan Basin. The microbialite lithologic textures in this region include thrombolite, dendrolite, stromatolite, fenestral stromatolite, spongiostromata stone,oncolite, aggregated grainstone, and botryoidal grapestone. Based on the comprehensive analysis of“depositional fabrics-lithology-microfacies”, an association between a fore mound, mound framework,and back mound subfacies has been proposed based on water depth, current direction, energy level and lithologic assemblages. The microfacies of the mound base, mound core, mound flank, mound cap, and mound flat could be recognized among the mound framework subfacies. Two construction types of marginal microbial mound-bank complex have been determined based on deposition location, mound scale, migration direction, and sedimentary facies association. Type Jinkouhe microbial mound constructions(TJMMCs) develop along the windward margin owing to their proximity to the seaward subfacies fore mound, with a northeastwardly migrated microbial mound on top of the mud mound,exhibiting the characteristics of large-sized mounds and small-sized banks in the surrounding area. Type E'bian microbial mound constructions(TEMMCs) primarily occur on the leeward margin, resulting from the presence of onshore back mound subfacies, with the smaller southwestward migrated microbial mounds existing on a thicker microbial flat. The burgeoning growth of the new energy vehicles and aviation industry has escalated the need for energy storage capacitors capable of stable operation in harsh *** advent of metal-polyimide complexes has illuminated a novel approach for preparing tem perature-resistant ***,the general application of these metal-polyimide com plexes is impeded by the high dielectric loss and low breakdown strength,consequences of main-chain coordination and excessive metal ions ***,our study proposes a novel polyimideCu complex material(POP-Cu)predicated on side-chain-type pyridine-Cu coordination,utilizing the structural backbone PMDA-ODA of mature commercial PI(Kapton)with reliable *** to the high degree of freedom afforded by the side chain with suppressed relaxation activation energy and the long-range electron delocalization formed by d-πcoordination,the dielectric constant of this material containing merely 2.7 mol%Cu increases from 3.25(POPI)to 5.58,while maintaining a remarkably low dielectric loss of ***,this material exhibits a substantial DC breakdown strength of 436.2 MV·m^(-1)and a high energy density of 5.42 J·cm^(-3),coupled with superior mechanical and thermal *** at 150℃,it retains over 90%of its room-temperature energy density,demon strating notable dielectric stability under high *** attributes underscore its promising application for capacitors operating in harsh environments.

This paper proposes a Bayesian estimation scheme with block-dependent compensation for linear high-dimensional systems. The state vector is divided into blocks by considering the relationship of state variables in time series and physical interpretation to reduce the underlying computational cost. However, blocking states damages the original system and introduces systematic errors. Consequently, the divided state blocks are compensated by introducing distinct compensation coefficients to improve state estimation accuracy. Considering the difference and uniqueness of state blocks, the distinct compensation coefficients are adaptively adjusted and updated over time to ensure higher accuracy of state estimation. Simulation results of numerical example are used to evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm. It shows that the proposed algorithm possesses moderate computational cost and higher estimation accuracy compared with the existing methods.

Tumor-derived exosomes have been shown to play a key role in organ-specific metastasis,and the androgen receptor regulates prostate cancer(PCa)*** is unclear whether the androgen receptor regulates the recruitment of prostate cancer cells to the bone microenvironment,even bone metastases,through ***,we found that exosomes isolated from PCa cells after knocking down androgen receptor(AR)or enzalutamide treatment can facilitate the migration of prostate cancer cells to *** addition,AR silencing or treatment with the AR antagonist enzalutamide may increase the expression of circular RNA-deoxyhypusine synthase(circ-DHPS)in PCa cells,which can be transported to osteoblasts by ***-DHPS acts as a competitive endogenous RNA(ceRNA)against endogenous miR-214-3p to promote C-C chemokine ligand 5(CCL5)levels in *** the level of CCL5 in osteoblasts could recruit more PCa cells into the bone ***,blocking the circ-DHPS/miR-214-3p/CCL5 signal may decrease exosome-mediated migration of prostate cancer cells to osteoblasts.
