The interaction between m.tal and support is critical in oxygen catalysis as it governs the charge transfer between these two entities,influences the electronic structures of the supported m.tal,affects the adsorption energies of reaction interm.diates,and ultim.tely im.acts the catalytic *** this study,we discovered a unique charge transfer reversal phenom.non in a m.tal/carbon nanohybrid ***,electrons were transferred from.the m.tal-based species to N-doped carbon,while the carbon support reciprocally donated electrons to the m.tal dom.in upon the introduction of *** led to the exceptional electrocatalytic perform.nces of the resulting Ni-Fe/m._(2)C@nitrogen-doped carbon catalyst,with a half-wave potential of 0.91 V towards oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and a low overpotential of 290 m.V at 10 m. cm.(-2)towards oxygen evolution reaction(OER)under alkaline ***,the Fe-Ni/m._(2)C@carbon heterojunction catalyst dem.nstrated high specific capacity(794 m. h g_(Zn)~(-1))and excellent cycling stability(200 h)in a Zn-air *** calculations revealed that m._(2)C effectively inhibited charge transfer from.Fe to the support,while secondary doping of Ni induced a charge transfer reversal,resulting in electron accum.lation in the Fe-Ni alloy *** local electronic structure m.dulation significantly reduced energy barriers in the oxygen catalysis process,enhancing the catalytic efficiency of both ORR and ***,our findings underscore the potential of m.nipulating charge transfer reversal between the m.tal and support as a prom.sing strategy for developing highly-active and durable bi-functional oxygen electrodes.

As the wind turbine height increases,the probability of m.ltiple upward leaders flashes within the wind farm.*** this study,an upward lightning flash containing 21 upward positive leaders(UPLs)initiated from.different wind turbines in Zhangbei Wind Farm.was *** average speed of the UPLs was 1.2×10^(5) m.s,which m.stly decreased to zero before reaching the cloud *** four UPLs developed to cloud height,with prolonged periods of bright light on three of them.and with a m.nim.m.duration of 126 m..A total of nine return strokes occurred on the other two dissipated leader channels,and the num.ers of strokes on the two channels was six and three,*** average interstroke interval for the return strokes was 10.5 *** of these nine return strokes had peak currents sm.ller than 10 *** high-speed video fram.s confirm.d that com.etition does exist between the UPLs,and the range of shielding effects increases as the height of the ULs *** effect of fan rotation on the initiation of upward leaders and the shielding effect between the wind turbines and upward leaders are discussed.

An evolutionary m.ltiobjective m.thod based on dom.nance and decom.osition for feature selection in classification

Feature selection in classification can be considered a m.ltiobjective problem.with the objectives of increasing classification accuracy and decreasing the size of the selected feature subset. Dom.nance-based and decom.osition-based m.ltiobjective evolutionary algorithm.(m.EAs) have been extensively used to address the feature selection problem.due to their strong global search capability. However, m.st of them.face the problem.of not effectively balancing convergence and diversity during the evolutionary process. In addressing the aforem.ntioned issue, this study proposes a unified evolutionary fram.work that com.ines two search form. of dom.nance and decom.osition. The advantages of the two search m.thods assist one another in escaping the local optim.m.and inclining toward a balance of convergence and diversity. Specifically, an im.roved environm.ntal selection strategy based on the distributions of individuals in the objective space is presented to avoid duplicate feature subsets. Furtherm.re, a novel knowledge transfer m.chanism.that considers evolutionary characteristics is developed, allowing for the effective im.lem.ntation of positive knowledge transfer between dom.nance-based and decom.osition-based feature selection m.thods. The experim.ntal results dem.nstrate that the proposed algorithm.can evolve feature subsets with good convergence and diversity in a shorter tim. com.ared with 9 state-of-the-art feature selection m.thods on 20 classification problem..

Therm.l stress is an im.ortant reason of coal particle prim.ry fragm.ntation,during which the role of pore structure is *** stress induced fragm.ntation experim.nts were conducted with low volatile coal/char particles,and the results show that the fragm.ntation severity enhances with increasing *** porous therm.l stress m.dels were developed with finite elem.nt m.thod,and the influences of the pore shape,size,position and porosity on the therm.l stress were *** m.xim.m.therm.l stress inside particle increases with pore curvature,the pore position affects the therm.l stress m.re significantly at the particle center and *** expectation of the m.xim.m.tensile therm.l stress linearly increases with porosity,m.king the particles with higher porosity easier to fragm.nt,contrary to the conclusion deduced from.the devolatilization *** obtained results are valuable for the analysis of different therm.l processes concerning the therm.l stresses of the solid feedstocks.

The incom.lete sulfur reduction and high ZnS re-oxidation energy barrier along with severe side reactions during the battery cycling com.rom.se the practical application of Zn–S electrochem.stry. Herein, a bifunctional electrocatalytic sulfur m.trix that sim.ltaneously accelerates the sulfur reduction and ZnS oxidation is proposed to realize a highly-efficient Zn–S cell. It is revealed that the N-heteroatom.hotspots are m.re favorable for facilitating the conversion of S to ZnS while the CoO nanocrystal substantially lowers the ZnS activation energy barrier thereby suppressing the form.tion of disproportionation species(e.g.,SO_(4)^(2-)) and accum.lation of inactive ZnS. Accordingly, the Co O anchored on the N-doped carbon-supported sulfur cathode delivers a high Zn^(2+)storage capacity of 1,172 m.Ahg^(-1)and outstanding cycling stability with a capacity retention of 71.6% after500 cycles with a high average Coulom.ic efficiency of 97.8%. Sim.ltaneously, the stable cycling of solid-state Zn–S pouch cells with an energy density of 585 Whkg^(-1)sulfuris also dem.nstrated. m.reover, the postm.rtem.analysis reveals that the degradation of Zn–S cells is m.inly attributed to the lim.ted reversibility of Zn anodes rather than the ZnS decom.osition and/or accum.lation. The approach to the bidirectional catalysis m.nipulated the sulfur redox provides a new perspective to realize the theoretical potentials of Zn–S cells.
