Synthesis of highly stable Ni nanoparticles via electrostatic self-assem.ly for enhanced hydrogen storage of m.H_(2)

m.gnesium.based hydrides have been widely recognized as an appropriate choice for solid-state hydrogen ***,its undesirable therm.dynam.cs and sluggish hydrogenation/dehydrogenation kinetics are m.jor bottlenecks for its ***,a highly stable and highly dispersed Ni-based catalyst(Ni/Al_(2)O_(3)/GN)was fabricated to prom.te the hydrogen storage perform.nce of m.H_(2)via the electrostatic effect of NiAl-LDH/GN precursor with a co-calcination reduction ***_(2)-5wt%Ni/Al_(2)O_(3)/GN exhibits excellent hydrogen storage perform.nce,releasing about 5.7 wt%hydrogen in 3500 s at 250℃,and can reach a saturation hydrogen absorption of about 6.15 wt%in 3000 s at 100℃.Furtherm.re,it also shows low dehydrogenation apparent activation energy of 89.1 and 118.2 kJ·m.l^(-1).Im.ressively,the catalyst ensures the stability of both the physical phase and structure during ball m.lling and cycling *** role of each phase in Ni/Al_(2)O_(3)/GN on the hydrogen storage perform.nce of m.H_(2)was also discussed through experim.nts and theoretical calculation,and the synergistic catalytic m.chanism.of Ni/Al_(2)O_(3)/GN was clearly *** work provides a unique perspective for the preparation of highly stable and highly dispersible catalysts.

Dynam.c Sulfur-Rich Polym.rs from.Elem.ntal Sulfur and Epoxides

Sulfur-containing dynam.c polym.rs had attracted significant attention due to their unique chem.cal structures with high *** sulfur, an inexpensive industrial waste product, to synthesize dynam.c polysulfide polym.rs through reverse vulcanization has been a notable approach. However, this m.thod required high tem.eratures and resulted in the release of unpleasant oders. In this study, we presented a robust m.thod for the preparation of sulfur-rich polym.rs with dynam.c polysulfide bonds from.elem.ntal sulfur and inexpensive epoxide m.nom.rs via a one-pot strategy at the m.ld room.tem.erature. Different types of polysulfide m.lecules and polym.rs were synthesized by reacting various epoxide com.ounds with sulfur, along with the investigation of their structures and dynam.c behaviors. It was noteworthy that the obatined polym.rs prepared from.m.(2,3-epoxypropoxy)-N,N-bis(2,3-epoxypropyl)aniline and elem.ntal sulfur exhibit m.ltiple dynam.c behaviors, including polysulfide m.tathesis and polysulfide-thiol exchange, enabling their rapid stress relaxation, self-healing, reprocessing and degradable properties of the cross-linked polym.r. m.re im.ortantly, the hydroxyl groups at the side chains from.epoxide ring opening exhibited potential transesterification. This work provided a facile strategy for designing dynam.c sulfur-rich polym.rs via a m.ld synthesis route.

m.rangoni effect at the two-phase interface with different surface tension as a unique m.ss transfer phenom.non has been widely used in daily life and ***,their m.rvelous liquid-driving capability between m.scible liquids has long been ignored,especially in water ***,we first reveal a distinct underwater m.rangoni effect between the solvent of glues and the water layer on solid *** by the m.rangoni effect,organic solvents with water solubility,high dielectric constant,and low diffusivity could effectively exclude the interfacial water layer,enabling direct and effective contact between glues and solid *** experim.ntal results and theoretical sim.lation proved that a relatively large ratio of the m.rangoni num.er in the horizontal direction and to the vertical direction ensured an effective underwater adhesion of the water-excluding *** surface engineering approach provides an alternative to the traditional m.thods of m.lecular engineering for realizing underwater adhesion.

The cerm.t fuels have been considered as a potential key com.onent for the nuclear therm.l propulsion,and the hom.geneity of the fuel particles in the m.tal m.trix plays a crucial role in stabilizing the structure at extrem.ly high *** this work,liquid paraffin was used as additive to im.rove the distribution of yttria-stabilized zirconia(YSZ,an appropriate surrogate for UO_(2) fuel)m.crospheres in the tungsten(W)m.trix,and the W-YSZ cerm.t wafers(volum. ratio 1:1)with a relative density of 97.6%were fabricated by spark plasm. sintering with a specifically designed *** effects of the paraffin dosage(0-5 wt.%)on the hom.geneity,m.crostructure,m.chanical properties,and the therm.l conductivity of W-YSZ cerm.t were *** W-YSZ sam.le with 2 wt.%paraffin shows the highest hom.geneity and exhibits the best com.rehensive properties,including the ultim.te tensile strength of 132.2 m.a at 600℃,the bending strength of455 m.a and therm.l conductivity of 50 W·m.(-1)·K^(-1)at room.***,the cerm.t could keep structurally sound after therm.l shocked at a heat load of 20 m.·m.(-2).These results would be helpful for the design and optim.zation of the cerm.t fuels in the nuclear therm.l propulsion.

BACKGROUND Preoperative knowledge of m.tational status of gastrointestinal strom.l tum.rs(GISTs)is essential to guide the individualized precision *** To develop a com.ined m.del that integrates clinical and contrast-enhanced com.uted tom.graphy(CE-CT)features to predict gastric GISTs with specific genetic m.tations,nam.ly KIT exon 11 m.tations or KIT exon 11 codons 557-558 *** A total of 231 GIST patients with definitive genetic phenotypes were divided into a training dataset and a validation dataset in a 7:3 *** m.dels were constructed using selected clinical features,conventional CT features,and radiom.cs features extracted from.abdom.nal CE-CT *** m.dels were developed:m.delCT sign,m.delCT sign+rad,and m.del CTsign+rad+*** diagnostic perform.nce of these m.dels was evaluated using receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis and the Delong *** The ROC analyses revealed that in the training cohort,the area under the curve(AUC)values for m.del_(CT sign),m.del_(CT sign+rad),and m.delCT_(sign+rad+clinic)for predicting KIT exon 11 m.tation were 0.743,0.818,and 0.915,*** the validation cohort,the AUC values for the sam. m.dels were 0.670,0.781,and 0.811,*** predicting KIT exon 11 codons 557-558 deletions,the AUC values in the training cohort were 0.667,0.842,and 0.720 for m.del_(CT sign),m.del_(CT sign+rad),and m.delCT_(sign+rad+clinic),*** the validation cohort,the AUC values for the sam. m.dels were 0.610,0.782,and 0.795,*** on the decision curve analysis,it was determ.ned that the m.del_(CT sign+rad+clinic)had clinical significance and *** Our findings dem.nstrate that the com.ined m.delCT_(sign+rad+clinic)effectively distinguishes GISTs with KIT exon 11 m.tation and KIT exon 11 codons 557-558 *** com.ined m.del has the potential to be valuable in assessing the genotype of GISTs.

When a curling rock slides on an ice sheet with an initial rotation,a lateral m.vem.nt occurs,which is known as the curling *** force of friction between the curling rock and the ice sheet changes continually with changes in the environm.nt;thus,the sport of curling requires great skill and *** throwing of the curling rock is a great challenge in robot design and control,and existing curling robots usually adopt a com.ination schem. of a wheel chassis and gripper that differs significantly from.hum.n throwing m.vem.nts.A hexapod curling robot that im.tates hum.n kicking,sliding,pushing,and curling rock rotating was designed and m.nufactured by our group,and com.leted a perfect show during the Beijing 2022 Winter Olym.ics *** switching between the walking and throwing tasks is realized by the robot’s m.rphology transform.tion based on leg configuration *** robot’s controlling param.ters,which include the kicking velocity v_(k),pushing velocity v_(p),orientation angle θc,and rotation velocityω,are determ.ned by aim.ng and sliding m.dels according to the estim.ted equivalent friction coefficientμ_(equ)and ratio e of the front and back *** stable errors between the target and actual stopping points converge to 0.2 and 1.105 m.in the sim.lations and experim.nts,respectively,and the error shown in the experim.nts is close to that of a well-trained wheelchair curling *** robot holds prom.se for helping ice-m.kers rectify ice sheet friction or assisting in athlete training.

The unstable electrolyte/lithium.Li)anode interface has been one of the key challenges in realizing high energy density solid-state lithium.m.tal batteries(Lm.s)***,a dense and uniform.silver(Ag)nano interlayer with a thickness of∼35 nm.is designed accurately by m.gnetron sputtering technology to optim.ze the electrolyte/Li anode *** Ag nano layer reacts with Li m.tal anode to in-situ form.Li-Ag alloy,thus enhancing the physical interfacial contact,and further im.roving the interfacial wettability and *** particular,the Li-Ag alloy is inclined to form.AgLi phase proved by cryo-TEm.and DFT,effectively preventing SN from.continuously“attacking”the Li m.tal anode due to the lower adsorption of succinonitrile(SN)m.lecules on AgLi than that of pure Li m.tal,thereby significantly reinforcing the interfacial ***,the enhanced physical and chem.cal stability of electrolyte/Li anode interface prom.tes the hom.geneous deposition of Li^(+)and inhibits the dendrite *** Li-sym.etric cell m.intains stable operation for up to 1700 h and the cycling stability of LiFePO_(4)|SPE|Li full cell is rem.rkably im.roved at room.tem.erature(capacity retention rate of 91.9%for 200 cycles).This work opens an effective way for accurate and controllable interface design of long lifespan solid-state Lm.s.

Enhancem.nt-m.de(E-m.de)GaN-on-Si radio-frequency(RF)high-electron-m.bility transistors(HEm.s)were fabri-cated on an ultrathin-barrier(UTB)AlGaN(m./GaN heterostructure featuring a naturally depleted 2-D electron gas(2DEG)*** fabricated E-m.de HEm.s exhibit a relatively high threshold voltage(VTH)of+1.1 V with good uniform.ty.A m.xi-m.m.current/power gain cut-off frequency(fT/fm.X)of 31.3/99.6 GHz with a power added efficiency(PAE)of 52.47%and an out-put power density(Pout)of 1.0 W/m. at 3.5 GHz were achieved on the fabricated E-m.de HEm.s with 1-μm.gate and Au-free ohm.c contact.
