The basic high-temperature properties of iron ore play a crucial role in optimizing sintering and ore blending,but the testing process for these properties is complex and has significant lag time,which cannot meet the actual needs of ore blending.A prediction model for the basic high-temperature properties of iron ore fines was thus proposed based on a combination of machine learning algorithms and genetic algorithms.First,the prediction accuracy of different machine learning models for the basic high-temperature properties of iron ore fines was compared.Then,a random forest model optimized by genetic algorithms was built,further improving the prediction accuracy of the model.The test results show that the random forest model optimized by genetic algorithms has the highest prediction accuracy for the lowest assimilation temperature and liquid phase fluidity of iron ore,with a determination coefficient of 0.903 for the lowest assimilation temperature and 0.927 for the liquid phase fluidity after optimization.The trained model meets the fluctuation requirements of on-site testing and has been successfully applied to actual production on site.

The influence of heterogeneous flow injection of urea at different velocities and temperatures on NO x conversion efficiency,ammonia storage and ammonia leakage is investigated experimentally.A diesel engine employing a selective catalytic reduction(SCR)technology is considered.It is found that for a fixed injection velocity,the degree of ammonia leakage changes depending on the temperature.The higher the temperature,the faster the catalytic reduction reaction and the smaller the degree of ammonia leakage.The temperature has a great influence on the catalytic reduction reaction rate.At an injection velocity of 10000/h,the average reaction rate at 420℃ is 12 times higher than that at 180℃.The injection velocity has a weak influence on the reaction rate.When the injection velocity changes from 10000/h to 40000/h at the same temperature,the average reaction rate does not change appreciably.However,increasing the space velocity can accelerate the leakage of ammonia,thereby miti-gating the benefits associated with the NO_(x) conversion.

The use of cover crops is a promising strategy for influencing the soil microbial consortium,which is essential for the delivery of multiple soil functions(i.e.,soil multifunctionality).Nonetheless,relatively little is known about the role of the soil microbial consortium in mediating soil multifunctionality under different cover crop amendments in dryland Ultisols.Here,we assessed the multifunctionality of soils subjected to four cover crop amendments(control,non-amended treatment;RD,radish monoculture;HV,hairy vetch monoculture;and RDHV,radish-hairy vetch mixture),and we investigated the contributions of soil microbial richness,network complexity,and ecological clusters to soil multifunctionality.Our results demonstrated that cover crops whose chemical composition differed from that of the main plant crop promoted higher multifunctionality,and the radish-hairy vetch mixture rendered the highest enhancement.We obtained evidence that changes in soil microbial richness and network complexity triggered by the cover crops were associated with higher soil multifunctionality.Specifically,specialized microbes in a key ecological cluster(ecological cluster 2)of the soil microbial network were particularly important for maintaining soil multifunctionality.Our results highlight the importance of cover crop-induced variations in functionally important taxa for promoting the soil multifunctionality of dryland Ultisols.

Introduction:Hypersalivation has been associated with Rolandic epilepsy and other childhood epilepsy syndromes.However,pure salivatory seizures are a rare type of focal seizure in which ictal hypersalivation is the dominant feature throughout the seizures.Case presentation:We present a case of pure salivatory seizures originating from the right post-central operculum cortex,confirmed by the favorable surgical outcome.We attempt to analyze the symptom from behavioral and neural network perspectives and propose a possible mechanism to generate ictal hypersalivation and pure salivatory seizures.Conclusion:Based on previous reports in the literature and our case,we emphasize the importance of the operculum in patients with ictal hypersalivation,particularly in patients with pure salivatory seizures.

Fuel cell hybrid electric vehicles are currently being considered as ideal means to solve the energy crisis and global warming in today’s society.In this context,this paper proposes a method to solve the problem related to the dependence of the so-called optimal equivalent factor(determined in the framework of the equivalent consumption minimum strategy-ECMS)on the working conditions.The simulation results show that under typical conditions(some representative cities being considered),the proposed strategy can maintain the power balance;for different initial battery’s states of charge(SOC),after the SOC stabilizes,the fuel consumption is 5.25 L/100 km.

Molecular spintronics,as an emerging field that makes full use of the advantage of ultralong room-temperature spin lifetime and abundant electrical-optical-magnetic properties of molecular semiconductors,has gained wide attention for its great potential for further commercial applications.Despite the significant progress that has been made,there remain several huge challenges that limit the future development of this field.This Perspective provides discussions on the spin transport mechanisms and performances of molecular semiconductors,spinterface effect,and related spin injection in spintronic devices,and current spin-charge interactive functionalities,along with the summarization of the main obstacles of these aspects.Furthermore,we particularly propose targeted solutions,aiming to enhance the spin injection and transport efficiency by molecular design and interface engineering and explore diverse spinrelated functionalities.Through this Perspective,we hope it will help the spintronic community identify the research trends and accelerate the development of molecular spintronics.

The photogenerated charge carrier separation and transportation of inside photocathodes can greatly influence the performance of photoelectrochemical(PEC)H2 production devices.Coupling TiO_(2) with p-type semiconductors to construct heterojunction structures is one of the most widely used strategies to facilitate charge separation and transportation.However,the band position of TiO_(2) could not perfectly match with all p-type semiconductors.Here,taking antimony selenide(Sb_(2)Se_(3))as an example,a rational strategy was developed by introducing a viologen electron transfer mediator(ETM)containing polymeric film(poly-1,1′-dially-[4,4′-bipyridine]-1,1′-diium,denoted as PV^(2+))at the interface between Sb_(2)Se_(3) and TiO_(2) to regulate the energy band alignment,which could inhibit the recombination of photogenerated charge carriers of interfaces.With Pt as a catalyst,the constructed Sb_(2)Se_(3)/PV^(2+)/TiO_(2)/Pt photocathode showed a superior PEC hydrogen generation activity with a photocurrent density of−18.6 mA cm^(-2) vs.a reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE)and a half-cell solar-to-hydrogen efficiency(HC-STH)of 1.54%at 0.17 V vs.RHE,which was much better than that of the related Sb_(2)Se_(3)/TiO_(2)/Pt photocathode without PV^(2+)(−9.8 mA cm^(-2),0.51%at 0.10 V vs.RHE).

BACKGROUND Kidney transplantation is the best option for patients with end-stage renal disease.However,the need for lifelong immunosuppression results in renal transplant recipients being susceptible to various infections.Rhodococcus equi(R.equi)is a rare opportunistic pathogen in humans,and there are limited reports of infection with R.equi in post-renal transplant recipients and no uniform standard of treat-ment.This article reports on the diagnosis and treatment of a renal transplant recipient infected with R.equi 21 mo postoperatively and summarizes the charac-teristics of infection with R.equi after renal transplantation,along with a detailed review of the literature.Here,we present the case of a 25-year-old man who was infected with R.equi 21 mo after renal transplantation.Although the clinical features at the time of presentation were not specific,chest computed tomography(CT)showed a large volume of pus in the right thoracic cavity and right middle lung atelectasis,and fiberoptic bronchoscopy showed an endobronchial mass in the right middle and lower lobe orifices.Bacterial culture and metagenomic next-generation sequen-cing sequencing of the pus were suggestive of R.equi infection.The immunosup-pressive drugs were immediately suspended and intravenous vancomycin and azithromycin were administered,along with adequate drainage of the abscess.The endobronchial mass was then resected.After the patient’s clinical symptoms and chest CT presentation resolved,he was switched to intravenous ciprofloxacin and azithromycin,followed by oral ciprofloxacin and azithromycin.The patient was re-hospitalized 2 wk after discharge for recurrence of R.equi infection.He recovered after another round of adequate abscess drainage and intravenous ciprofloxacin and azithromycin.CONCLUSION Infection with R.equi in renal transplant recipients is rare and complex,and the clinical presentation lacks specificity.Elaborate antibiotic therapy is required,and adequate abscess drainage and surgical excision are necessary.Given the recurre
