Torque control strategy with V2X information for HEVs to minimize fuel consumption

Today,much information from traffic infrastructures and sensors of ego vehicle is *** such information has a potential for internal combustion engine vehicle to reduce fuel consumption in real *** this paper,a powertrain controller for a hybrid electric vehicle aiming to reduce fuel consumption is introduced,which uses information from traffic signals,the global positioning system and sensors,and the preceding *** study was carried out as a benchmark problem of engine and powertrain control simulation and modeling 2021(E-COSM 2021).The developed controller firstly decides reference acceleration of the ego vehicle using the traffic signal and the position information and the preceding vehicle *** acceleration and deceleration leading to increase in unnecessary fuel consumption is ***,the reference engine,generator,and motor torques are decided to achieve the reference acceleration and minimize fuel *** addition,the reference engine,generator and motor torques were decided by the given fuel consumption map for the engine,and by the virtual fuel consumption maps for the generator and the *** virtual fuel consumption is derived from the efficiency maps of the generator and the motor using a given equivalent factor,which converts electricity consumption to fuel for the generator and the *** this study,a controller was designed through the benchmark problem of E-COSM 2021 for minimizing total fuel consumption of the engine,the generator,and the *** developed controller was evaluated in driving *** result shows that operating the powertrain in efficient area is a key factor in reducing total fuel consumption.

Nitrogen-based fertilizers differentially affect protist community composition in paddy field soils

Protists are one of the most diverse and dominant microbial groups and they play critical roles in the soil *** nitrogen fertilizers have a profound impact on protist communities,still less is known about how different nitrogen fertilizer types affect protist community composition in different soil *** we investigated the effects of six inorganic nitrogen fertilizers(urea,ammonium nitrate,ammonium sulfate,potassium nitrate,ammonium chloride,and diammonium hydrogen phosphate)and an organic fertilizer(a mixture of rice husk and cow manure)on protist community composition in three paddy field soils using a high-throughput sequencing *** effect of the fertilizers on the functional groups of protists,namely consumers(predators and decomposers),photoautotrophs,and parasites(plant pathogens and animal parasites)was also *** results showed that nitrogen fertilizers had distinctive effects on the beta diversity of the protists,while we also observed that the same fertilizer had slightly different effects depending on the soil *** and Rhizaria were the most affected protist taxonomical groups,while predatory protists were the main functional groups that were affected by nitrogen *** forest analysis showed that most of the fertilizer-affected protists were predators,among which Cercozoa was the most affected *** conclusion,our results provide important insights into the impact of nitrogen fertilizers on soil protist communities.

Surgical management of gastric cancer improves ***,for some time,surgeons have had diverse opinions about the extent of *** have conducted many clinical studies,making slow but steady progress in determining the optimal surgical *** extent of lymph node dissection has been one of the major issues in surgery for gastric *** trials demonstrated that D2 dissection resulted in greater morbidity and mortality than D1 ***,long-term outcomes demonstrated that D2 dissection resulted in longer survival than D1 *** 2004,the Japan Clinical Oncology Group reported a pivotal trial which was performed to determine whether para-aortic lymph node dissection combined with D2 dissection was superior to D2 dissection alone and found no benefit of the additional *** with pancreatectomy,splenectomy,and bursectomy was initially recommended as part of the D2 ***,pancreas-preserving total gastrectomy with D2 dissection is standard,and ongoing trials are addressing the role of ***,the feasibility and safety of laparoscopic gastrectomy are well *** and quality of life are increasingly recognized as the most important *** this review,we present perspectives on surgical techniques and important trials of these techniques in gastric cancer patients.

BACKGROUND In patients with large stones in the common bile duct(CBD),advanced treatment modalities are generally ***,we present an interesting case of a huge CBD stone treated with electrohydraulic lithotripsy(EHL)by the percutaneous approach and rendezvous endoscopic retrograde cholangiography(ERC)using a nasal *** SUMMARY A 91-year-old woman underwent ERC for a symptomatic large CBD stone with a diameter of 50 *** was referred to our institution after the failure of lithotomy by ERC,and after undergoing percutaneous transhepatic biliary *** attempted to fragment the stone by transhepatic cholangioscopy using ***,the stones were too large and partly soft clay-like for ***,we attempted lithotomy with ERC and cholangioscopy by the rendezvous technique using a nasal endoscope and achieved complete *** complication was observed at the end of this *** Cholangioscopy by rendezvous technique using a nasal endoscope is a feasible and safe endoscopic method for removing huge CBD stones.

Growth rate has a direct impact on the productivity of nitride LED production. Atmospheric pressure growth of GaN with a growth rate as high as 10/zm/h and also *** growth of 1μm/h by using 4 inch by 11 production scale MOVPE are described. XRD of （002） and （102） direction was 200 arcsec and 250 arcsec, respectively. Impact of the growth rate on productivity is discussed.
