Objecti.e: Thi. study i.vesti.ated the effects of cardi.c rehabi.i.ati.n exerci.e protocols on physi.al functi.n (PF) i. pati.nts wi.h chroni. heart fai.ure (CHF). Study Desi.n and Setti.g: Thi. randomi.ed controlled tri.l recrui.ed 70 pati.nts who are i. stage i. CHF wi.h ejecti.n fracti.n (≤40%) from a Ni.eri.n uni.ersi.y teachi.g hospi.al. They were randomly assi.ned i.to Exerci.e Group (EG: n = 35) or Control Group (CG: n = 35). Physi.al functi.n, acti.i.y of dai.y li.i.g (ADL), di.tance walked i. si. mi.utes and gri. strength were assessed usi.g a vali.ated ADL questi.nnai.e, si. mi.ute walk test and a hand dynamometer respecti.ely. i. addi.i.n to medi.ati.n, EG underwent aerobi. and upper extremi.y resi.tance exerci.es thri.e weekly for ei.ht weeks whi.e CG used medi.ati.ns only. Data were analyzed usi.g descri.ti.e and i.ferenti.l stati.ti.s. Alpha level was at p p > 0.05). Si.ni.i.ant i.provements were noti.ed at fourth week among parti.i.ants’ ADL (30.0% ± 6.0%), 6MWD (321.7 ± 26.3 m) and VO2 max (8.9 ± 0.4 mL/kg/mi.) vari.bles wi.hi. the exerci.e EG but no si.ni.i.ant changes were observed i. the CG (p > 0.05). Parti.i.ants i. EG demonstrated more si.ni.i.ant i.provements i. ADL (15.0% ± 5.0%), 6MWD (406.0 ± 29.7 m) and VO2 max (10.3 ± 0.5 mL/kg/mi.) (p p > 0.05). Conclusi.ns: Cardi.c rehabi.i.ati.n exerci.e protocols i.volvi.g self-paced walki.g, si.-to-stand and upper extremi.y dynami. strength trai.i.g i.proved acti.i.y of dai.y li.i.g, walki.g and functi.nal capaci.y i. pati.nts wi.h stable chroni. heart fai.ure.

Evaluati.n of levels and spati.l characteri.ti.s of di.solved nutri.nts and heavy metals i. the ri.er bed sedi.ent wi.hi. a basi. are cri.i.al to understandi.g the extent of land-use i.pact on the ri.er systems. Surface ri.er bed sedi.ents across ei.ht ri.ers i. the Ogun-Osun Ri.er Basi. i. Ni.eri. were collected and analyzed for Total N, , Total P, Total organi. carbon, Cd, Hg, Pb, Zn, Cu, Fe, Mn and Cr. Polluti.n Load i.dex (PLi., Accumulati.n Factor (AF) and Hi.rarchi.al Clusteri.g Analysi. (HCA) were used to i.enti.y the i.pact of the pollutants and also defi.e the spati.l vari.ti.n across the basi.. The polluti.n load i.di.es of heavy metals were moderately hi.h rangi.g from 0.41 - 0.60, whi.e AFs were 0.43 - 2.00 and 0.61 - 1.29 for heavy metals and nutri.nts from upstream to downstream i. the ri.ers systems, respecti.ely. The HCA i.enti.i.d 7 di.ti.ct spati.l patterns descri.i.g pollutant i.put from the land-use i. the basi.. Thi. study provi.es accurate measurements of the wi.g and body ki.emati.s of three di.ferent speci.s of damselfli.s i. free yaw turn fi.hts. The yaw turn i. characteri.ed by a short accelerati.n phase whi.h i. i.medi.tely followed by an elongated decelerati.n phase. Most of the headi.g change takes place duri.g the latter stage of the fli.ht. Our observati.ns showed that yaw turns are executed vi. drasti. rather than subtle changes i. the ki.emati.s of all four wi.gs. The moti.n of the i.ner and outer wi.gs were found to be strongly li.ked through thei. ori.ntati.n as well as thei. veloci.i.s wi.h the i.ner wi.gs movi.g faster than the outer wi.gs. By controlli.g the pi.ch angle and wi.g veloci.y, a damselfly adjusts the angle of attack. The wi.g angle of attack exerted the strongest i.fluence on the yaw torque, followed by the flappi.g and devi.ti.n veloci.i.s of the wi.gs. Moreover, no evi.ence of acti.e generati.n of counter torque was found i. the fli.ht data i.plyi.g that decelerati.n and stoppi.g of the maneuver i. domi.ated by passi.e dampi.g. The systemati. analysi. carri.d out on the free fli.ht data advances our understandi.g of the mechani.ms by whi.h these i.sects achi.ve thei. observed maneuverabi.i.y. i. addi.i.n, the i.spi.ati.n drawn from thi. study can be employed i. the desi.n of low frequency flappi.g wi.g mi.ro ai. vehi.les （MAV＇s）.

i.troducti.n: A rare but severe compli.ati.n of endometri.si. duri.g pregnancy i. spontaneous hemoperi.oneum i. pregnancy (SHi.) wi.h li.e threateni.g i.traabdomi.al bleedi.g. We report the case of SHi. i. an i.F twi. conception with background endometriosis. Case Report: A 31-year-old G1P0, admitted to Lagoon hospitals Ikoyi on 15thi.y:Verdana;"> May 2019 for severe abdomi.al pai., di.zi.ess and restlessness at 24 weeks. Exami.ati.n revealed grossly di.tended abdomen, wi.h di.fuse tenderness and guardi.g. She was lethargi. and pale. A si.ni.i.ant drop i. hemoglobi. to 3.6 g/dL. A di.gnosi. of acute abdomen probably SHi. was made. She was moved to the theatre for emergency surgi.al resusci.ati.n, joi.tly wi.h a general surgeon. She underwent a mi.li.e laparotomy under general anesthesi.. She was moni.ored i. the i.tensi.e care uni. postoperati.ely. She made remarkable cli.i.al recovery and was di.charged home after Fourteen days of i.pati.nt admi.si.n.
