The integration of one or more electricmachines into the drivetrain has resulted inmany different powertrain concepts in recent years,ranging from the P2 hybrid to dedicated hybrid transmission(DHT).Two types of DHT with different characteristics are *** first type is the power split hybrid(PS-DHT),which has very low mechanical complexity but needs high electrical effort in the *** second type is multi-mode DHT(MM-DHT),which has a slightly higher mechanical complexity but much less electrical effort when compared with the PS-DHT.A transmission synthesis is used to determine the concept of the *** three different powertrain concepts(i.e.,P2,PS-DHT,and MM-DHT)are analyzed and evaluated regarding fuel economy and *** driving cycles(e.g.,Worldwide Harmonized Light vehicles Test Procedure)and the 3D method(driver,driven vehicle,driving environs)are used to investigate the drivetrain in the context of real driving *** show that the two DHT concepts offer better fuel economy than the P2 hybrid drivetrain while still providing the same or even better driving *** study also shows that new hybrid concepts created with transmission synthesis can lead to further improvements in hybrid powertrains.

The great diversity of dedicated hybrid transmissions(DHTs)requires a method to identify solutions among all potential concepts involved in each ***,a DHT synthesis tool is developed on the basis of general transmission *** the first synthesis step,transmission structures are generated with only conventional functions such as driving with only the internal combustion *** machines are then installed in the transmissions to achieve further hybrid functions,including boosting,eCVT and electric driving *** number of generated transmission concepts increases exponentially with each synthesis *** evaluations are carried out successively to identify the most suitable DHT concepts among the many possible *** generated DHT concepts are evaluated in terms of structural feasibility,driving modes,drivability and load factors on transmission *** example of DHT synthesis involving planetary gear sets is explained in *** best five DHT structures are identified out of more than 120 billion solutions.

According to the specification of superalloy-stainless steel arc brazing and characteristic of the base metal,a best filler metal which has relative lower melting point,nice wettability,good weld forming,and adequate shear strength was *** experiment results show that wettability of CuFeMn on the stainless steel is very poor,concomitant with a mass of purple soot during the welding which deteriorates the working *** has the best wettability on both the superalloy and stainless steel,but there remains a lot of pit and slag on the surface of the weld ***-based solder has the highest melting point and its wettability and clearance fillability are weaker than *** and clearance fillability of the CuSi3 are the best in all the candidate filler metals,and its weld is smoothness and has higher shear *** its comprehensive ability,CuSi3 is selected as the final filler metal.

We operated a p-type point contact high purity germanium(PPCGe)detector(CDEX-1B,1.008 kg)in the China Jinping Underground Laboratory(CJPL)for 500.3 days to search for neutrinoless double beta(0νββ)decay of ^(76)Ge.A total of 504.3 kg⋅day effective exposure data was *** anti-coincidence and the multi/single-site event(MSE/SSE)discrimination methods were used to suppress the background in the energy region of interest(ROI,1989–2089 keV for this work)with a factor of 23.A background level of 0.33 counts/(keV⋅kg⋅yr)was *** lower limit on the half life of^(76)Ge 0νββdecay was constrained as T_(1/2)^(0ν)>1.0×10^(23)yr(90%C.L.),corresponding to the upper limits on the effective Majorana neutrino mass:<3.2–7.5 eV.

AIM: To explore the anti-hepatitis B virus (HBV) effects of Boehmeria nivea (B. nivea) root extract (BNE) by using the HepG2 2.2.15 cell model system. METHODS: Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), hepatitis B virus e antigen (HBeAg), and HBV DNA were measured by using ELISA and real-time PCR, respectively. Viral DNA replication and RNA expression were determined by using Southern and Northern blot, respectively. RESULTS: In HepG2 2.2.15 cells, HBeAg (60%, P 99%, P < 0.01) secretion into supernatant were significantly inhibited by BNE at a dose of 100 mg/L, whereas the HBsAg was not inhibited. With different doses of BNE, the reduced HBeAg was correlated with the inhibition of HBV DNA. The anti-HBV effect of BNE was not caused by its cytotoxicity to cells or inhibition of viral DNA replication and RNA expression. CONCLUSION: BNE could effectively reduce the HBV production and its anti-HBV machinery might differ from the nucleoside analogues.

Background:Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is associated with impaired renal function,and both diseases often occur alongside other metabolic ***,the prevalence and risk factors for impaired renal function in patients with NAFLD remain *** objective of this study was to identify the prevalence and risk factors for renal impairment in NAFLD ***:All adults aged 18-70 years with ultrasound-diagnosed NAFLD and transient elastography examination from eight Asian centers were enrolled in this prospective *** fibrosis and cirrhosis were assessed by FibroScan-aspartate aminotransferase(FAST),Agile 3+and Agile 4 *** renal function and chronic kidney disease(CKD)were defined by an estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR)with value ofling for the other components of metabolic syndrome(P<0.05).Compared with patients with normoglycemia,those with prediabetes[FPG≥5.6 mmol/L or hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c)≥5.7%]were more likely to have impaired renal function(P<0.05).Conclusions:Agile 3+and Agile 4 are reliable for identifying NAFLD patients with high risk of *** glycemic control in the prediabetic stage might have a potential renoprotective role in these patients.

Epigenetic deregulation is intimately associated with the development of human diseases. Intensive studies are currently underway to clarify the mechanism for the sake of achieving ideal diagnostic and therapeutic goals. It has been demonstrated that enzymes with histone-modifying activities can also target non-histone proteins, with the underlying mechanism remaining obscure. In this review, we focus on a novel histone mimicry strategy that may be wildly adapted during the non-histone substrate recognition process. Its potential clinical implications are also discussed.

AIM: To describe the ages at diagnosis and operation of biliary atresia(BA) and its incidence over a 15-year period in ***: This was a population-based cohort study. BA cases were identified from the Taiwan National Health Insurance Research Database based on the International Classification of Diseases,Ninth Revision(ICD-9) code of BA 751.61 plus Kasai operation(ICD-9 procedure code 51.37) or liver transplantation(LT,ICD-9 procedure code 50.5). The patients' characteristics including sex,age at diagnosis,age at receiving Kasai operation and age at receiving LT were compared among three birth cohorts:(1) 1997 to 2001;(2) 2002 to 2006; and(3) 2007 to ***: There were a total of 540 BA cases(275 females) with an incidence of 1.62 per 10000 live births. No seasonality of BA was noted. The mean ages at diagnosis of three cohorts were 57.9,55.6 and 52.6 d.A linear regression model demonstrated a decreasing trend of the mean age at diagnosis(1.27 d per year). The proportion of BA cases that received the Kasai operation within 60 d of age increased from 76% to 81%. A total of 189(35%) BA patients underwent LT. The mean age at LT was reduced from 3-year-old to 1-year-old. The rates of LT were 25.6% and 32.3% in patients who received the Kasai operation within 60 d or after 60 d of age,respectively. All patients who did not undergo a Kasai operation eventually required ***: The ages at diagnosis and operation in BA cases have decreased over time. Kasai operation performed at younger age reduces the need for LT. The incidence of BA in Taiwan fluctuates,but without certain trend.
